The anticipated projects have yet to come to fruition but that hasn't stopped Mike from being patient and explaining the ins, outs, pros and cons of what I wanted versus what is feasible. Things have changed so much since I first started dreaming up these changes right after Covid I needed a reality check on prices and availability. The most recent call was more in depth with details, reality vs practicality and what would be more practical and advantageous in the long run for resale. All this with just a future dream planed. I appreciate the time and consideration Mike always shows.

All of these smaller projects were completed in exactly the way we wanted. Jeff was extremely responsive, making changes as requested with a great attitude. Feeling confident in his work, we had him screen in our large porch. This work was both effective -- we use our bug-free porch so much more now -- and beautifully done. We get compliments on it all the time. Lastly, Jeff renovated all three of our bathrooms. These were full renovations, with each room taken down to the studs. This was our first time doing serious renovations. As newbies, we relied on Jeff's sound advice and explanations. All three bathrooms turned out beautifully, and everything works great. Jeff and his guys did all the tile work, which is especially superb: totally even and solid. For a few parts of the projects, such as glass shower doors, he brought in an outstanding subcontractor. Many people I talk to have nightmare stories about renovations dragging on and on due to contractors who don't show up on schedule. Or they report shoddily done work. There is none of that with Jeff. He is extremely responsive and always there when he says he will be. And his work is absolutely top-notch. I can tell it really bothers him when anything is the slightest bit imperfect; such things get fixed, even if they are imperfections I would not have noticed myself. He's also extremely honest and fair and his pricing. Highly recommended!

I hired 4 Ace Tile as I received a recommendation from a tile supply business. I had not looked at…read morethe Yelp reviews but many are very old so here is an updated review for Dec 2024. First, Antonio the owner was VERY communicative. We spoke a lot about out bathroom tile and what was needed. I send him a lot of photos and he always texted or called. I hired Antonio based on our conversation and he immediately had us meet him at a tile store in Modesto. We had white ceramic tiles and grout that were from 1999 and this we upgraded to a slate style tile with dark grout that won't get nasty like white grout.**= We talked options and selected our tile. We received a quote and in the end the quote was just about spot on. He contacted me each day letting me know when the crew was coming. His crew (met 4 of them over the week) were all polite and professional. They do speak English as their second language but Antonio constantly communicates to make sure all is well. In the end we got the bathroom look we wanted at a reasonable price. Any comments about lack of communication are just not the case in my experience and there are always people who aren't good clients. Fortunately I saw the reviews after I hired him and while concerned, I soon realized I had a great guy to get the job done. We are very pleased and we are having him do our entire kitchen counters next. 5 stars for 2024! See before and after shots. Floor still is drying until Friday but you'll get the idea.
