Gelato me please! My family and I were craving a sweet treat, but intentionally looking for a local small business to support. We stumbled across this trendy little spot tucked away in Round Rock! We were greeted with a warm welcome and vibrant atmosphere! With so many options and combinations we didn't know where to start! Luckily, this place offers exceptional service and we were welcomed to try every flavor they offered...I think we almost did! We all decided to try something different and share. There in-house made gelato was so delicious, with Belgium waffle and cone combinations depending on what your in the mood for! In addition to every topping you could imagine! Our family and I enjoyed every single bite, satisfying our cravings. So if you are craving a delicous sweet treat with all the fixings, this is your next best stop. We can't wait to go back! Happy Eating

Always have a taste for Gelato and I think I found it. Service: Had excellent greeting when I came in and was told that I can sample all the flavors. (Big smile). Food: The Gelato speaks for itself. They had flavors that I never heard of and one flavor that is a Colombian favorite. They have bowls, waffle bowls, waffle cones, waffles top with Gelato. They also have a water base Gelato that is going to be really good for these summer days. Ambiance: They are just big enough to have a great Gelato to go or sit and just have some great Gelato. Overall: Definitely support this establishment and wish nothing but the best for them in future.

We were enticed to try The Gelato Lab with a 4.7/5.0 Yelp rating. The Gelato Lab opened June 2025 is located in Round Rock, TX (suburb of Austin, TX) on AW Grimes Blvd. It is nestled in the Turtle Creek Market near Randall's. The Gelato Lab is more than a dessert destination... it is a handcrafted Italian experience right in the heart of Round Rock. It is a bit far from our house but about 8 minutes from our dinner location, so we decided to give it a whirl. In addition, their gelato is dairy free, which was another huge plus. They make all items in-house to promote freshness of ingredients. My husband had vanilla and I had cherrylicious gelato. So yummy...the gelato was smooth and flavorful and surprisingly a small cup contained a lot of gelato as it was dense. They serve a flavor with Dubai chocolate, which I sampled. It was quite good, however, you could only buy the Dubai chocolate gelato separately. They have traditional flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry contrasted with unique flavors like passionfruit, mango, and coconut. They also serve Belgian waffles...one to try in the future. There was one server with a bit of a line. She took everything in stride and maintained a very pleasant attitude. When you got to the counter she treated you as if you were the only one in the gelato shop. Kudos to her! There is plenty of free parking, so you linger as long as you like. Within the gelato shop there plenty to engage the little people - colorful hanging inflated balloons, eye-catching ice cream cone wallpaper to arcade machines. Great gelato...great experience! Look forward to returning when we are in that vicinity...

Great spot for gelato with plenty of delicious flavors to choose from. My son had fun playing the games at the kids' table while we enjoyed our treats. The owner was working and was very friendly. A wonderful addition to this part of Round Rock

Very delicious. I got the tiramisu and the mixed berries cheesecake and thought they were both very flavorful, probably from the fact that the owner is from Colombia. Service was friendly. A nice new place to try in RR. Ambiance is cute.

Such a cute place! The gelato was great. I had Tiramisu, Oreo and Strawberries & Cream. My grandson had Vanilla and Cookie Monster. Husband had Chocolate, Movie Night and Pistachio. I sampled the Movie Night and it tasted just like popcorn. My favorite of what I had was the Strawberries and Cream, very favorable!

This place is AMAZING all fresh ingredients and the owner is the kindest!!!! Great place super cute inside too! 10/10!!!!!

The dairy free strawberry gelato & sugar cones were delicious! The workers were friendly and helpful & even replaced my son's gelato, on their own, when it was a little too full for him & fell on the floor. Exceptional customer service & super cute environment!

very berry cheesecake

Backyard patio has some big bricks for the kids to play with. Parking is a bit confusing at first but there's additional parking to the side if the entrance lot is full. We sat outside and ordered the following dishes: Coxinha (shredded chicken croquette) was excellent and very kid friendly. Crispy on the outside while incredibly creamy and soft on the inside. 9/10 Bolinha de Queijo (fried cheese balls) were my son's favorite, basically their version of mozzarella sticks. 9/10 Pizza Queijo, cheese pizza with crust stuffed with Brazilian cream cheese, really good. 8/10 Espetinho de Chicken Heart, my wife's choice and she loved it. Dense, slightly chewy, and best with lime and the creamy pepper sauce the waiter brought after I asked. 8/10 Strogonoff de Frango, the standout main dish. Rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned sauce with excellent rice and crispy potato sticks. 9/10 Caipirinha Tradicional, solid and paired well with the savory dishes. 9/10 Caipirinha de Caju, my wife loved it, perfectly balanced sweetness. 10/10 Brigadeiro (dessert) taken to go. Small but tasted as expected. 7/10 Pricing is mid range and actually lower than expected overall though drinks can push the bill up quickly. Overall, great vibes and a very enjoyable experience. Best suited for dates, special occasions, or family outings. I would definitely come back, especially to try more appetizers, different pizza options, the Strogonoff de Frango again and try some new dishes. 4.5 / 5 rounded up!

I rarely make it to Round Rock, but after my first visit to Waffle Love, I'll definitely be back…read more A friend brought me here for breakfast, and we decided to share a waffle flight so we could try a variety of items. We ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken and waffles, and the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread. Before I get to the food, I want to recognize the excellent customer service. Since it was my first visit, I had quite a few questions. The employee helping us was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She walked us through all of the flight options, and let us know that everything was made fresh to order, so there would be a short wait. I appreciated the transparency, and when our food arrived I soon found out it was worth the wait. The standout for me was the grilled cheese waffle with tomato soup. The soup tasted homemade, with bright tomato flavor and generous chunks of tomato throughout. It was fresh, and absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese featured a flavorful muenster and provolone instead of the standard cheddar you find everywhere else, and the waffle itself was crispy on the outside with a perfect gooey cheese pull. My friend enjoyed the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread since I'm not a huge fan of Biscoff. I did try the strawberries and cream, though, and both were excellent. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and firm, while the cream tasted rich and homemade. The chicken and waffles were outstanding. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and the waffle had a wonderful texture: light and airy inside with a crisp exterior. It was served with syrup and a remoulade-style sauce. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully decorated with fun murals, word art and nods to Round Rock. For a first visit, Waffle Love made a fantastic impression. The next time I'm in Round Rock, I'll be ordering another waffle flight, probably the same 3 selections, just without the Biscoff spread.

I'm a hundred percent returning…read more I did not realize how nice of a place this was when I pulled up. I feel terrible walking in after doing yard work. I just ran out to grab somethings and hadn't had breakfast. So I just typed in coffee place and chose the most unique name near me. Oof I walked in and it was beautiful with what looked like gourmet pastries and coffee. Not a place to be covered in dirt and grass clippings. But I was already there, the coffee smelt good and I saw a matcha croissant (I love matcha) so I ordered to go. The girls in front of me bought the last one, but they very quickly made me another one and they were far too nice The food was spectacular and the best I've had in a long moment! The coffee was amazing! The service a 10 out of 10! And the vibe was so cute and relaxing

We were exited to take my niece to the 'unicorn place' and support a plant based shop. It was super cute and she was excited about the decor and unicorns. Came a little after 9am on a Friday, it was maybe half full, but it took about 40 minutes to get two lemon tofu toasts. I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88. Pretty ridiculous, and I am used to California, Bay Area prices.
