Unfortunately, I left disappointed because the food quality just wasn't what I remembered. I had been telling my wife how great the food used to be--almost like gourmet bar food--and was really looking forward to sharing that experience with her. The smash burger no longer tasted like the duck-fat burger I remembered, and the fries definitely didn't seem to be house-made anymore. They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.

Menus were clean and crisp. Meal started with amuse bouche of cucumber soup. Flavorful and cool. Cucumber salad. Very fresh and flavorful. Tandoori beef. Must get. So tender. Melt in your mouth. Tasty too. Salmon was good. Well cooked. The sauce was a bit heavy on the salt to my taste. Not a fan of the couscous but that's just my preference. The beef was noted as delicious. The menu says it's for "4-6 people". Uhm.....even the first person to take something will have an immediate sense of guilt.....for having taken something and seemingly (not) left much behind for others! The pork chop was an excellent crust and taste. A small chop; but they make up for it in taste. The halibut - I did (not) directly try the dish. But the one at the table which ordered....orders fish all the time....and found this entree quite enjoyable. The beef filet (not pictured) was an excellent dish. They had a side of caramelized onions with some blue cheese mixed within - uhm, oh my - such a killer taste this side was with the steak. We had a few drinks on our tab; (2) people; and that was good for $350 on the night. The place was certainly good; small portions; service was fine. A small patty melt with fries will coast you $10, and a pitcher of domestic is $8.50. These are premium prices, and the owners need to realize what side of town they're on, and who their customer base is. You can literally go right down the street and get a pitcher for $6.50 and a burger for $7!! I love supporting local businesses, but not when they price gouge.
