Wow. Where do I start! In town from Indiana. Found this place for breakfast. It has such a cool diner vibe. A bit of kitchen smoke adds to the ambience-- it's not bothersome at all! Lots of tightly packed tables create a buzz of happy people here. There's a small bar with one tv for soccer fans. Light pours in from windows on two sides to create a cheery feel on a cold morning. Specialty drinks and delicious food topped our day.

TRULY Delicious food -- Brunch menu is packed with winners! I wish we discovered this place at the start of our Portland trip! The Bacon Gnocchi was OUTSTANDING! I had the Corned Beef Hash -- YUM!! Service and atmosphere was fantastic... will definitely recommend this place!!

    Sweet potato hash

We'll be dreaming about this adorable brunch spot until we make it back to Portland! It is the coziest spot and the service was excellent. You have to get the French onion soup, it's divine. When the sweet potato hash came out I will admit I didn't think it would be a knockout, HOWEVER every bite was super flavorful and I was so happy to have something that wasn't the typical omelet or pancakes, although those things looked great too.

First and foremost, the ambiance at The Front Room is warm, cozy, and inviting. The rustic decor and charming atmosphere create a relaxed and comfortable setting that immediately puts you at ease. The attention to detail and the use of locally sourced ingredients truly shine through in each dish, elevating the overall dining experience. Speaking of the food, the flavors and presentation were absolutely outstanding. Every bite was a burst of culinary excellence. I highly recommend trying their Veggie Gnocchi--perfectly poached eggs nestled on a bed of fresh, homemade gnocchi and roasted veggies, topped with a velvety hollandaise sauce that was simply heavenly. The Biscuits & Gravy also has me raving--savory fennel and thyme sausage gravy, over fluffy biscuits, with a side of eggs is the epitome of comfort food! The service at The Front Room was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. Her genuine passion for food and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience was evident throughout our visit. Not to mention-- she was so personable! Lastly, I must mention the delightful outdoor seating area. It provided a lovely atmosphere with fresh air and beautiful views, adding an extra touch of enjoyment to our brunch experience. Croque madam (very good) and potato salad side (very good)

Vibe: nice open room with kitchen in the back corner, some outdoor seating Service: great service from wait staff although there were only two people in the kitchen so we waited just under an hour for food Food: very good, absolutely LOVED the french toast: delicious custard, good texture, perfect portion, real maple syrup. Had a bite of the croque madam which was very good. Home fries were good but nothing special. Had a mocha latte which was fine. Value: $$ pricing felt on point for quality and quantity of food Other: street parking nearby is somewhat limited, we were able to park down at the end of the road in a lot near the shore. Overall this was a good breakfast although food service was on the slow side. Highly recommend the french toast.

    Crab pasta

Absolutely incredible meal. I ordered the crab pasta and I'm not a pasta connoisseur BUT this exceeded my expectations. It was almost sweet but savory and I could not get enough. Service was impeccable as well !

Do they have a gluten free menu or a gluten free toast option?

They did not have that option last time I was there in November

Are there high chairs or booster seats?

They have high chairs for sure. They may have booster seats but we didn't ask.

When we finally came during the off season, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity since wait times were shorter. The wait on a Saturday afternoon was about 15-20 minutes. I will say - I had high hopes for Hot Suppa. Between my fiance and I, we ordered the waffle, side of corned beef hash, and the fried green tomatoes eggs benny. The corned beef hash here is excellent - that I do have to acknowledge. I was a bit underwhelmed by the fried green tomatoes though. The tomatoes were just okay, but the excessive hollandaise sauce really just made the whole dish waaay too heavy. It was also just messy. Service was slow & our waitress tended to disappear for long periods of time. Coffee & water refills both took a long time. Parking here is difficult but not impossible. Most spots are only for an hour or so.

To start off I enjoyed a Morning Bun Latte while my wife got the Honey & Juniper Latte. Both came out perfect temperature with well done latte art and delicious taste. My wife was obsessed with their pottery mugs that the lattes came served in. Food wise we were looking to split everything and it worked perfectly. We ended up choosing French Toast, Soft Scrambled Eggs, and the Fried Potatoes side. Every dish would be an absolute no brainer for us to order again. Every bite of food kept us wanting even more. Lastly we grabbed a chocolate croissant to go and that was just as tasty and enjoyed it after our visit. After this visit it is certainly a new favorite spot of ours, and look forward to coming back! I was really intrigued by the rye and caraway muffin, and I love a good pastrami. Unfortunately, the thin pastrami was a bit chewy. If there is a meat spectrum that ranges from jerky to moist and tender (such as Sam LaGrassa's), it was too close to jerky. With plenty of butter and melted cheese, it was pretty greasy, though the flavor was enjoyable. I was happy to try it, and my wife really enjoyed the complex Como Se Dice Buon Giorno, with prosciutto, hash brown, banana peppers, etc. Next time, I'd probably grab a package of their English Muffins to bring home and create my own egg sandwich, but it's a quaint neighborhood spot worth checking out if you're in the area.
