Obi, my medium sized Aussie, looked 10/10 ready for lots of pets and snuggles from family and friends visiting soon. We have an Old English Sheepdog who's around 1 now and if you know anything about OESs, they are extremely difficult to groom. She's our first of this breed and we found out how quickly matting can happen the hard way. We brought her into Foxy Dog and they handled everything beautifully. After the cut and grooming, our groomer kindly taught us how to better take care of Willa's fur on our own and gave great recommendations for products and when to schedule her again. That's why I can't say enough about Foxy Dog I was away due to a death in the family and my Lhasa Alpso when I returned look like he was one giant Brillo pad. God rest my moms soul this is her last baby that I inherited and she would be devastated seeing him in these conditions. I felt absolutely horrible that I apologized to Jessica a million times, she said don't worry we are just going to shave him. Which they did and when I picked him up he was so happy not one razor burn or cut which is very common if you have a matted dog. Foxy Dog did such and amazing job with my super nervous dog! He is so high strung that he got kicked out of Petsmart and asked not to return because he kept biting the groomers when they tried to clip his nails. We couldn't clip them at home for the same reason, and the poor baby was getting super overgrown nails to the point where we were worried they would hurt him. Well, we took him to Foxy Dog, and Tracy did an awesome job with his nails! We didn't go in because of Covid protocols, but we didn't hear even a whimper, and he was totally relaxed when he left - you would have thought he'd been at a spa! Today I took my sweet girl jasmine to get her nails done at foxy dog she has been there a couple times throughout the shutdown and even with all guidelines lifted in lane county they still don't allow you in the door with your sweet babies which now I know why we pulled into there parking lot and jasmine right away hid in the backseat and was shaking which was weird she's usually really good about getting her nails trimmed we talked her out of the car and they took her back while my husband watched at the door and then he heard her screaming and yelping so he opened the door they told him he can't come in while our baby was crying and we can't come in to see what they are doing to her or comfort her i know my girl will never have to go back to this place read more

My dog got butchered here. Jacked up hair cut, they ran the trimmers into his testicles, and cut his paw. His ears were not cleaned, they had him for nearly four hours as well. He was terrified when he got home, his throat was so sore from tight leash, he could t even bark...never again. read more

We've had nothing but great experiences with Foxy Dog. We tried 4 other groomers - none fully groomed our goldendoodle. Poodles need their ears cleaned and plucked every time as well as the pads cleaned. Other groomers often skipped these essential steps. More important, our dog is excited when we pull up! read more

As a business owner I understand all the issues... However, despite ample opportunity to return calls to schedule appointments (which the voicemail messages says she will do after hours during the cut back schedule) I did not receive any call after leaving repeated messages over a period of two months! Other fellow customers I've seen at dog park have same comment/complaint/concern! I've taken my dog here twice and both times, I wasn't thrilled with the result. They butchered my dog's paws when shaving them both times and both times, they didn't trim all of her nails. I've since taken her elsewhere where and they were able to trim all of her nails and her paws were all completely uniform and nicely shaven. My dog also smelled kind of funny both times after I picked her up and I just wonder what kind of soap they use because of this. I don't really recommend this place. read more

This is the first time that I've used foxy dog. I took Roxy, my Yorky/ShihTzu mix in. She is five years old and has always been groomed in a Yorky manner. This is what I asked for. Picture below is what I got. I recently moved to Eugene from the Mckenzie river area and normally have her groomed at BIS in Springfield. They do a wonderful job! I went to Foxy Dog for the first time this weekend. I have a Mini Schnauzer, who gets very upset when groomed. He doesn't like anyone touching his feet, his private areas, his ears or his face. I have tried to groom him in the past, like I do with all of my other dogs. Never again! I called Foxy Dog and discussed the difficulty in grooming my dog myself. They put me at ease, and we scheduled an appointment. It was very easy to schedule an appointment, and I scored an appointment on a Sunday. This was great, because I did not have to take time off of work to drop off and pick up my dog. I dropped my dog off for grooming and had my fingers crossed. I expected him to be a difficult case, and expected 4+ hours for the groom. However, I called 3 1/2 hours later to get an idea of a good pick up time. I was surprised that they told me that he was done! I went in to pick him up, and I barely recognized him! He looked wonderful! I had a smile on my face, and my dog had an even bigger smile. I could tell that he felt good! I looked over him when I got home, and was even more impressed with the level of detail--especially with a difficult dog. His feet were trimmed very nicely, and the groomer got all of the pesky ear hair plucked. His private areas were well shaved, which makes it nice for hygiene purposes. I would recommend this place to anyone. When I walked into the establishment, it was a no-frills kind of place, so I was nervous about the outcome. Foxy Dog grooms and they do it very well. I don't really need a sales area for accessories--I'll go to a pet store for that stuff. This place is just what I was looking for in a grooming facility. read more

I recently moved to Eugene from Salem and I was nervous about finding a new groomer for my dogs. One of my girls is a drama queen when it comes to her nail trims. By "drama queen" I mean she hates nail trims and can be a real handful. The ladies at Foxy Dog did an amazing job with her. They trimmed her nails quickly and were very efficient and kind with my dog. They're handling skills were top notch! After they finished the nail trim one of the ladies told me, "we've handled worse!" This comment made me feel much better :) I give Foxy Dog an A+ for their professionalism and quality. They are reasonably priced and they do everything I ask when I take my belle in. I think they do a better job then any other chain pet store. Foxy dog groomed our previous dog, a Samoyed for her 14 years. They now groom our 3 1/2 year old Siberian Husky. They are attentive and skilled, she always comes home brushed out, and clean. When I take her to the vet she pulls away as we get close to the front door (doesn't want to go in). When we go to Foxy Dog she runs up to the door and starts pushing with her nose. Sounds silly, but she loves her groomers. They are attentive to her, and good at what they do. Highly recommended. read more

This place is terrible. Awful, unfriendly customer service and when I told them I had a coupon from Savvy Saver that I wanted to use, but I had misplaced it, they wouldn't honor it! It was for new customers, I was a new customer, but they didn't care. The manager was like: "nope, I need the coupon." She was in the back of the shop, wouldn't even look up at me, totally unconcerned about her customer. Well, I can tell you that I will NEVER go back there and they also did a pretty mediocre job on my dog. And the price was much higher than I was quoted on the phone. Also they don't take credit cards of any kind and no one mentioned this to me when I made my appt. Good thing I had my checkbook. I don't understand WHY a business owner wouldn't want to retain a customer. I've been taking my dog here for nail clipping for several years. I never need an appointment. They always greet us and take him right away. Everyone there has been friendly, even when my dog peed on their floor. My dog really hates his feet touched. The groomers are all quick to complete the task and adept at handling the dog when he gets grumpy. The ONLY negative is that they don't accept credit cards. I was a little skeptical as I always am taking my dogs to a new groomer but this business is everything I want in a dog grooming company. They were kind and didn't make me specify exactly what I wanted (because I've never groomed a dog, I don't know what I want!). I have a Doxie Beagle mix and a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix. Our Doxie just needed a routine cleaning and our Jack needed a cut and cleaning. We simply told the groomer we needed her to have a nice summer cut and I wanted them to clean up the hair on her long legs. She looked perfect.
