My plan was to use a larger vendor as I was hoping speed of service and experience would be on our side when getting our carpet installed. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case and we ended up with more issues that I hope others can learn from. Picking the carpet at the showroom was easy and scheduling time for someone to come measure and install was relatively painless. However, when it came to the installation, things fell apart pretty quickly. 1. They rushed the job on the stairs and will need to re-do the edges. 2. Stain on the carpet (24-30 inches): I would preface that this definitely could be due to the manufacturer's error. They offered to have it professionally cleaned and if that didn't work they'd reinstall it (which meant even more delays to finish the job). We opted to try professional cleaning first. It's been close to a week with no response on scheduling the cleaning. 3. They LITERALLY ran out of carpet. The installers mentioned they would come back the next day to finish our master closet. Keep in mind, we can't use our closet because they need the clothes out of the way for the installation. The installer never came, never called back. It wasn't until I called 3-4 times that a sales rep graciously relayed our message to Carlos (project manager). I get that mistakes happen, but why come to measure ahead of time and still get it wrong? We now need to wait for more carpet to be delivered and do not have a scheduled date on the the job will be completed. 4. You can not reach anyone when calling for support: I'm still waiting to hear back on the carpet cleaning AND when they'll finish the job. It's pretty frustrating to say the least so I would caution whether a bigger floor vendor like Floor Store would be a good vendor when things go wrong and troubleshooting is needed. This is a 1000 sq ft job, so be weary if you're looking to do an even bigger job. read more

We worked Teza to get our COREtec plus premium Grande Lotte Oak installed in our home. He was very helpful in answering our questions that we had. It's great to know there is a lifetime labor warranty from the Floor Store. Roberto and his crew did a fantastic job with the installation. Communication was excellent. I would know when he would be arriving and he would ask / mention things during the entire installation process. They took care to prepare the concrete subfloor as needed ( minor filling / ensuring level) etc. No short cuts were taken and i didn't feel like they were rushed to get the job done. Took the time to help pick out the flooring however it was hard To reach a person by phone or email after the purchase. The LVF installer was nice and tidy but his mistakes such as the threshold being crooked and into the next room a couple of inches. Everything was removed for installation date but the installer called in sick the day before Thanksgiving so it was delayed 6 days. Turned out good because Rocky at scheduling sent Javier who was able to fix some of the previous mistakes and he did an excellent job installing the carpet. Jill from the showroom called Rocky on my behalf which I appreciate but he was on vacation. When things go wrong it can cause a lot of unnecessary stress. I'm glad it's over read more

I walked in, met Teza and was out the door within 15 minutes with carpet samples to show the boss aka wife. I wish I could give them a zero. Made lots of promises and failed to deliver. Lots of hidden cost and price gouging. Once the contract was signed, 50% collected up front - only 10% done is a California state law. As work began, more cost added for extra work to level (make floors smooth for hardwood flooring). If you did not want the floors smooth (level), it would not be under warranty! Material and labor far exceeded the retail cost if bought the material cement myself. Decided to get a general contractor who was able to do their required corrections for one-third the cost. The floors could not be installed as designed. What I horrible mess this became. Would not recommend the floor store to anyone. read more
