Buyer Beware if you want to purchase a temporary eSim/SIM…read moreCard from this place, DON'T! You pay for the SIM but the owner sets it up as if he paid for it for himself. A- He enters his own email. B-He chooses his own password. c He chooses his own PIN. So essentially yes your SIM card works but he has access and complete control over your service. What the process is supposed to actually be like 1. Pay for the SIM. 2. Visit the carrier's activation page (like straighttalk.com/activate or familymobile.com/activate). 3. Enter the SIM number & plan info from the card or kit. 4. Create your account online: * Enter your email address. * Set an account password. * May be asked to set a security PIN for account support. 5. Complete activation and start service. Summary * Email: Yes -- you pick your own when you create the carrier account. * Password: Yes -- you set your own account password. * PIN: The SIM may have a default PIN (carrier-provided) that you can change, and many carriers let you create a security PIN for account support. The owner insists that the way he sets up the SIM card is standard practice. You basically have the SIM card but NO management authority as you can't change email, password, or PIN. LIKELY A SCAM I Deleted the SIM immediately!
