The prices are high but if young and don't care about foot issues go anywhere. If your feet hurt or are sore then this is the place to go. Pro fittings and attention to detail and yes when you walk in they approach you to help you and save time selecting shoes, walking around and looking will do nothing until you know the shoe fit that is appropriate for your individual situation. For restaurant workers they carry the anti slip bottoms, for diabetics, sore feet, arch supports, they have you covered.

I was greeted at the door, led to a chair, and spoiled, while Paul measured my feet, checked the stock for different sizes and styles, assisted me with trying on different shoes and kept track of my purchases while I browsed the store for more. Paul was so kind & professional. He listened to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions about where & why I'd be wearing my new shoes, and found me two sets of shoes made from high-quality leather that are made to last. This was my first visit to SAS shoes, but it certainly won't be my last. Like Paul says, "cheap things usually aren't made to last and things made to last usually aren't cheap!"

I purchased arch supports from the Good Feet Store in January 2026. I waited five months to write…read morethis review because I wanted to give the supports enough time to improve my condition before sharing my experience. I've dealt with foot pain at different times throughout my life. Years of running, combined with walking barefoot around the house and not properly caring for my feet, eventually caught up with me. About twenty years ago, I developed severe plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma. At that time, I saw a podiatrist, was fitted for custom orthotics, and replaced many of my shoes. After that, I had years without significant problems. Unfortunately, I slipped back into old habits, especially walking barefoot at home, while also taking daily 4-5 mile walks. By the end of last year, my foot pain had returned. I will say this: the Good Feet Store has very effective marketing. Their commercials make it seem like you can walk in, purchase arch supports, and quickly solve your foot problems. To be fair, the in-store sales staff did explain that improvement can take weeks or even months. However, the major downside is that there are no refunds, and the support systems are extremely expensive. The sales experience reminded me of a timeshare presentation. When you are in pain, you are willing to try almost anything. I ended up spending approximately $2,300 on several different supports because I wanted to fully follow their recommendations. I followed the instructions carefully, but after about six weeks, I saw little improvement. I returned for another fitting, and one of the supports was exchanged for a different type. Now, five months later, my feet still do not feel better. Walking remains painful, and during long walks the supports often feel like I'm walking on rocks. At this point, I do not believe it is simply a fitting issue. In my opinion, these are overpriced, off-the-shelf supports that may help some people, but they did not work for me. Looking back, I believe I should have found a new podiatrist after mine retired and invested in new custom orthotics instead. That is the route I plan to take now. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing arch supports from the Good Feet Store. In my opinion, seeing a podiatrist and getting professionally made custom orthotics is both more effective and ultimately less expensive.

He asked if I could wait two weeks as he wasn't certain he had the correct materials. Turns out he pulled off both pairs in two weeks and the service requested was completed with a high degree of quality. The value of having it done local is much better than shipping the boots back to the manufacture for warranty repair as well. I wear my boots everyday and walk a lot so it was important to me that the service requested was done correctly and quickly. He was able to accomplish the job on both.

BUYING NEW SHOES IS FOR SUCKERS…read more Why on Earth would anyone throw out a pair of old shoes because the soles had worn when the Village Cobbler can fix them for you for dirt cheap, and possibly even improve them? I brought in a pair of Merrill hiking boots I use for work. I love these boots. They're comfortable, lightweight and have a Gore-Tex liner in them. I have had them for years, and the soles where run down so thin that everywhere I walked you'd swear I was walking on banana peels. Village Cobbler was able to removed the stock soles and installed for me -- get this -- rocket power boot soles that allow me to fly around like Iron Man. Ok, they don't sell rocket powered boot soles, unfortunately, but I did get Vibram soles installed for $50. Not a bad deal, right? More importantly, they look and feel great. I was so impressed with the work that I immediately dropped off another pair of boots for another re-sole job. I plan to drop off a third when there finished as well. So, for now I will scratch the rocket boots and stick with the Vibrams.... At least until my FAA license for rocket boots gets approved, and I can afford to pay off the loan on my coffin.
