Finding this little shop wasn't too much of a problem, and after giving him the shoe, he looked at it, then simply asked when I wanted it done. If you want it fixed tomorrow, then it will be done tomorrow. WoW!! I was impressed! I'll be picking it up in a few days. Will update when it's picked up in a few days! UPDATE: Perfect work done and very quick! I told him when I dropped it off that I'll pick it up over the weekend, about four days later. He said okay. I'd had the opposite boot's zipper repaired once, by another cobbler, who had the boot about 8 months before he figured out what to do to fix it, then charged a very high price. Step Ahead took a look, explained the two possible fixes and their price points.
