Nice stand alone building. Good location. Easy parking. Older proprietor experienced in all types of leather repair. My husband liked him. Brought in a leather belt to have it shortened. Owner explained how he would alter the belt. Gave a fair price and requested a 50% deposit. He probably gets people who dropoff then never pick up their items. Will be ready for pickup in two business days. Happy to have someone of this skill set in the neighborhood. We need these local craftsman. Don't retire. read more

Found this place via the trusty Yelp app again! This shoemaker was the closest one near by without going into Buffalo etc. He made a comment about my shoes and how beautiful they were and the craftsmanship on them were. From what I gather, not many people bring bespoke shoes to him to get shined or worked on etc. I guess people just bring in the stuff you can get from Macy's or JCP, but my shoes were hand made and made to my specific foot outline. He really really loved my shoes and i guess the shoe trees that i had with them shows what kind of shoes they are and the quality they were. Tom's place is very small but from what i looks like he gets the job done. I didn't need y shoes repaired or anything but i did need them shined. I asked for a specific type of shine service and I thought we were on the same page but when I went to pick them up, they were cleaned up, but not shined how I wanted it. They were in better condition when I first gave it to him though. Over all, I like the place, I will be going back to Tom in the future if I need things repaired on any leather goods I have. read more
