I was greeted at the door, led to a chair, and spoiled, while Paul measured my feet, checked the stock for different sizes and styles, assisted me with trying on different shoes and kept track of my purchases while I browsed the store for more. Paul was so kind & professional. He listened to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions about where & why I'd be wearing my new shoes, and found me two sets of shoes made from high-quality leather that are made to last. This was my first visit to SAS shoes, but it certainly won't be my last. Like Paul says, "cheap things usually aren't made to last and things made to last usually aren't cheap!"

It's nowhere near the size or selection of the Nike outlet store in Las Vegas and nowhere near the deals either but deals can be found. They have all the clothing to look like or act like a jock. There are racks of clearance items which are definitely sales but not the deep discounts that you can find elsewhere. The shoes selection is also large but it has a lot of styles that look like they were kicked out of the Frankenstein collection. If you're looking to find some gems it's definitely possible here but definitely on the discounts that I thought I'd see.

The last time he bought new sneakers was... 2010. I am not making that up. That means his current pair could legally be classified as antiques. Recently we went to a Tai Chi class together, and this man -- who otherwise considers himself quite stylish -- showed up in CROCS. I briefly considered pretending I did not know him. The very next day he said, "Do we have time to go look for sneakers?" followed by, "Where does one even buy shoes around here?" Enter DSW, my hero. Not only did we find him a pair... we found two. Their selection is fantastic -- all the good brands, tons of styles, and prices that don't make your eye twitch. Men's, women's, kids', athletic, dress, boots, casual -- if your feet need it, they've got it. They even have enough socks to support a full-scale sock-puppet theater troupe. My only tiny complaint? They could absolutely use more benches. One per aisle would be dreamy. Because when you're trying on shoes like it's your job, you need a place to sit. In a world where everything is online, I love that DSW is a real, fully stocked, walk-in store with fair prices and instant gratification. And yes -- there's a rewards program. You're not going to retire on it, but I did earn $5 off my next pair, which at today's gas prices may very well cover my round-trip there and back. We walked in with a shoe crisis. We walked out with happy feet and dignity restored. Five stars, no notes.

They have so many boots, which is helpful coming in the winter season, but they all look the same. I left empty handed and no one said a word as I entered or left. Shoe never know if you'll like these Shoes until you try them…read more This is a pretty cheap shoe store known as the Shoe Dept, according to the signs and website - but someone must think it's a bit of a sh**show because it's been renamed Shoe Show in recent weeks, but only on Yelp, not on Google. If you ask me they've probably messed up again. Yelp, that is. The stock is still the same and the prices are still dirt cheap which is excellent. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a new place to find a shoe selection in Lockport. Online is one thing but you can't try them on online, but you can in here.

They are unique, pretty, and best of all, reasonably priced. Sometimes the quality can be a little questionable. They've started carrying higher-end selections, which cost quite a bit more. But if you need a pair of shoes you're only going to wear a couple times, you'll be very impressed with what you get here. I buy flip flops and sandals here every year -they only last for about one season, but that could be because I wear them non-stop. They have a really neat jewelery selection, too. A whole turquoise section! I've bought clothes here, too. Again, unique and inexpensive night-out kinds of dresses and shirts. Bohemian-style hats and accessories.
