Such a wonderful experience! The staff was very caring and made us feel welcome right away. The food was excellent every bite was worth it. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place was just great. The only thing I'd suggest is improving the space for people waiting in line since it can get a little tight. But honestly, once you sit down it's all worth it. The waffle was to die for--SO good!!!!

I got the 2 egg skillet with onions, bacon, cheese and potatoes. With a side of sausage gravy. - A breakfast meal featuring fried eggs with seasoning, toasted bread, and a bowl of gravy, served on an orange table with drinks and condiments.

Loved the cozy and warm feel of the place. It felt like when you step into your grandparents home and see all the nick nacks they have collected over their life. If your willing to try something new I recommend the frog jelly on your toast. Me and my family loved it so much it was delicious. The service was immaculate. Our waitress gave us a recommendation to another restaurant near our destination to try. All around good conversation and lovely place. Truly farm to table.

Spicy Skillet Breakfast Scramble - A breakfast dish featuring scrambled eggs, toast, and various sides, served with a cup of coffee on a restaurant table.

Coming back from the upper peninsula the Farmers Table delivered an excellent breakfast experience! We received a quality breakfast at a fair price! Make sure to give this place a shot with a convenient location along I-75.

Smashed Burger, one with zucchini fries and other with sweet potatoe fries - A plate with a cheeseburger topped with melted cheese, sweet potato fries, and a small cup of dipping sauce. In the background, a burger with lettuce, tomato, and fries is visible.

Excellent food! We both had smashed burgers but one had zucchini fries and the other sweet potatoe fries, everything was amazing! The pistachio almond cake and the peanut butter pie was so tasty! We wished we weren't full or we could have enjoyed more items! This place is a hidden gem, just off 75, easy on and off. The servers were quick to help!

Pretty basic interior and doesn't look like much outside, but very attentive service and fresh home cooked food. Will definitely be back.

I even bought a bottle of their bacon ketchup that I've been thinking about since the last time we ate here.

Drinks and dessert was the main focus for a visit to Seabiscuit Cafe. Did I procure any real food…read moreat this horse-themed restaurant? Neigh! But they had what I wanted: sugar and alky hall. I just wanted a little (big) glass of red wine and something sweet to cap off the night, and I left satisfied. Key lime pie was the special dessert of the day, so that's what I got. I can't pass up a special dessert that's here today, but might be gone tomorrow. The kitchen didn't just give me a slice of pie: They dusted my plate with powdered sugar in the shape of a horse! It's these little touches that make all the difference, and you can tell that they're not horsing around here. (Or maybe they are?) My glass of Cabernet was great, and I was told that the beer was great, too. They were very busy, considering it was the end of the season. Nevertheless, we got a seat right away, and the service was great. If you visit Seabiscuit Cafe during the evening, you'll see that it's a cozy little spot with dim lighting, where you can relax and have a meal (or just drinks and dessert, like me).

They were able to seat us right away, but wasn't a fan of the seating arrangements: booth seating for eight persons including two seniors with mobility issues. It was especially cold in the corner and the TV was right above us! I kept thinking the TV would come down on us and what a safety risk it was. Also, it was super cold inside especially where we were seated. We asked for some hot water and had to follow up on it since I think our waitress forgot. Seating aside the food was quite good. They have a decent selection of signature cocktails to choose from. Portion sizes were generous and easily shareable between two persons (sensing a trend here in Michigan). I enjoyed the Crab Louie salad and the sweet potato fries. In summary, the seating arrangements could've been better, but the food and drink made up for it.

The way in which he coaxed our individual tastes made the experience feel as if we were the only ones there. Good job! Food: well the shrimp appetizer salad and French onion soup were so tasty they didn't get shared. I think that says it all but wait, then there was the salmon with beluga lentils. The olive tapenade was the right balance of salty and savory for the Scottish salmon. Ambiance: the snow mound is gone and the lake can be seen again. What a pleasure to enjoy each other's company while watching the gulls winging over the waves.

Cafe Santé is one place we visited on repeat during our recent stay in Boyne City…read more Our first night there was fantastic. Our server, Mark, was really attentive and friendly. The menu had a great amount of variety and the wine list offered some really unique tastes from around the world. I enjoyed the tuna steak for dinner and would recommend it. Kiddo loved the bread and butter that came with the meal. Our second experience still had great food, with the pork chop being my choice and one I would order again. We had a different server that night and he was MIA for more than half the meal. When he came back he asked if we wanted to-go cups for our beverages as he brought the check at the same time. Otherwise it was stellar all around. Would definitely recommend grabbing dinner here while you're in the area!

It felt like…read moreeveryone on the island was at the restaurant, but amazingly, we were seated relatively quickly and were served quickly. There's something about being near water that makes a person feel like eating fish. So that's what I got: I ordered the Chippewa Broiled Whitefish, which was served with rice and vegetables. This dish was the way to go! It was light but satisfying, and although the fish is broiled in a white wine and lemon butter sauce, it wasn't too saucy. The fish was just saucy enough. Our table also got the Beer Battered Whitefish & Chips. The fries here are really good! I tasted a little of the battered fish, and it was nicely fried. I don't usually drink sweet, fruity alcoholic beverages, but Pink Pony has a signature drink: the Rum Runner. It's bright pink and frosty. I thought, what the heck! Let's get one. It was just as sweet as I imagined it would be, and it gave me a brain freeze, and it tasted like a liquid SweeTart. I'm glad I tried it, but it's a novelty, and it barely gave me a buzz. This restaurant is very kid-friendly, and they have a pretty large kids' menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. My kids got burgers, which come with fries and choice of a beverage. Pink Pony is attached to a hotel (Chippewa Hotel Waterfront), so this kind of serves as the hotel's in-house restaurant, and they serve a sit-down breakfast. There's also a bar, so you can duck in and enjoy a drink. The bar had a TV playing some sort of sport. Of course, there's a Pink Pony gift shop, with all kinds of pink paraphernalia, like sweatshirts that say Pink Pony Club, unicorn stuffed animals, mugs, candles and all kinds of pink things. Don't think you won't walk out of this place without the song "Pink Pony Club" stuck in your head, because you definitely will.
