I go here just about every two weeks to get some movies or other nerdy things they have and I really enjoy the atmosphere and the behavior of the workers. You can get rid of the clutter you posses in your household that meets their qualifications and they will give you either in-store credit or cash back depending on the value of the items they are getting from you. They are polite and helpful every time I go there. And the prices for their items are really great. I will continue to go here for my movie or nerdy needs and I recommend everyone else like me do the same. read more

My husband and I frequent this location probably every other weekend just to see if there is any new treasurers for us to pick up. The location aside, I will say that The Exchange is an awesome place to find unique and rare entertainment that is perfect for gifts or your own personal collection. The staff can sometimes be mixed in terms of being helpful or even acknowledging you when you walk in, but 9.5 times out of 10 we are always greeted immediately. The store set up is actually much nicer than other locations throughout Northern Ohio thanks to the store itself, the isles run vertically from the front door making it easy to maneuver and not be in other shoppers or employees way. Their trade in is always pretty fair and I love that you can save your receipt for credit not used to apply towards a future purchase, sometimes you may just not find exactly what you're looking for or find yourself buying something that is far below your trade in value. I do find that pricing on some items can be much more than what it is new in a retail store and that is for items that are also accepted in new condition to the exchange. It doesn't hurt to hop on your phone and check EBay, Amazon and GameStop while in store just to see if the deal is really worth it. I have found so many great television show sets, wrestling DVD's, specialty books, anime, video games and accessories for cheap that it is sometimes hard to not stop here first to search before going to other places I frequent. The deals can sometimes be just too good to pass up! They accept all major credit/debit cards and cash as well as store issued gift cards. (Consider one the next time you want to give a unique gift but can't make up your mind on what to buy someone). I honestly have only two complaints about The Exchange stores in general. They highly promoted their frequent shopper program which gave you the chance to get discounts when purchasing and also discounts on your birthday and within your birthday month but I NEVER get asked if I have a card or if I would like to sign up which can be rather disheartening because I LOVE rewards programs and when a company acknowledges them. The other is the music, sometimes it is good and sometimes it is bad which you would think is normal but whether good or bad I can't take it blaring at top volume while I am trying to look and consider a purchase. Even Hot Topic has learned that too much noise will drive customers away. Overall though, I saw check it out and check it frequently because the thing you see today will probably not be there tomorrow. read more

Cool place with a full butcher shop, bar/brewery, restaurant, country store, and pierogi stand. Menu is eclectic. I had the fried bologna sandwich which was pretty good. Definitely recommended. read more

The staff at this location is so helpful, and they always seem to have what I need at a great price. The selection is incredible! This is probably the only place you can buy good music and videos in Medina. They have EVERYTHING! The only disappointment that I've had is that they don't carry some heavier/progressive music. You guys have As Blood Runs Black and Slipknot but not The Ghost Inside or Stick to Your Guns...wat? They have old records of new music for sale which is cool. They even have old videogames from Sega. I'd highly recommend these guys over GameStop. Just keep in mind that many of these DVDs, CDs, and Games are used, which means they could be scratched or damaged. Luckily they are very nice about returns so don't worry about having to bring it back in. Overall, this is probably the only place in medina I enjoy going to. read more

As I walked in the front door, I was greeted by friendly workers as well as the most coveted retro games they have in stock. I was pleased by their vast stock of games, movies, and music. It's nice to have such a large selection. Almost everything was great except the prices to their old games. Really high. To be fair, they seem okay with bartering, but asking $65 for Mario kart 64 with heavy writing on the label is a little ridiculous. That's my only gripe. Nice staff. Lots of stuff. read more

Good customer service they greet you as you come in the door.Great prices on DVDs, Blu Rays I got about all the Disney movies for my grandkids in just two months I think there's only like a handful out there that I don't have, got some 80s music for me on CDs Got my daughter like 15 Video Games in which the man was very very helpful because I picked up about 20 for a ps3 games And didn't know deli the employee was very knowledgeable he was telling me which ones I needed certain controllers for or other components,I join their birthday club and received discounts. The staff is awesome and helpful but the one thing I do have to admit is the music is so loud that you cant hear or carry on a conversation with out yelling. You must know the games that your going to buy before purchasing because you will only see the name of the game and not if its a 1 or two player. I feel like the staff could of done a little bit better and not helping customers like me or anyone else that does business. read more

I am a HUGE movie buff and I have the collection to prove it. Half of them I have purchased at various exchanges in northeast Ohio but this one is my absolute favorite. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to order me things if they don't have them. There is a great selection here and they always give me a fair price for my trade ins. Excellent source for entertainment media. Impressive selection of music on various media, movies, video games and related gadgets and supplies. The staff knows their stock and is very helpful. For music/movie/video game lovers on a budget, there are plenty of gently used items at bargain prices. I never leave the store without a few fantastic CDs, DVDs or vintage vinyl albums. The Exchange operates on a buy/sell/trade basis, offering generous trade or cash for items that can be resold, but a large part of their stock is brand new or even specially ordered. The Exchange is a corner stone of the community, with stores within driving distance of almost anywhere in the area. As a fan, I'm definitely a charter member. read more

The exchange is definitely a cool place for music, games and movies. I've been here a few times to find old music or video games that I'd have to spend hours searching eBay for, and for a fair price as well. Their music selection is VAST, everything from classic rock to reggae. One of the few complaints is their TV and movie selection is kind of lacking, not a whole lot to chose from and most of the popular shows are not much cheaper than other stores. But still if you have a nostalgic itch you wanna scratch check them out, if you don't find what you want you'll for sure find something else you'd never thought you could find. read more

Crap staff and never around when you need something out of the case but up your butthole when you are just looking. Prices used to be good on almost everything but now the games are over priced when I know know can get them at Gamestop cheaper. Used to be my favorite store to shop. I won't shop at any anymore. Sick of the shit service and horrible and not to mention loud music! Hate the glass cases locked for games and dvds. Would much rather have some trust in the customers and be able to pick out my dvds with out some employees breathing down my neck while I look at stuff in the case. I took my business to Buy Backs and I love it there much more. Feel free to look and shop at ease and can pick out anything I want without having some one standing over me while I look.
