It's just one of those places where the nostalgia hits you like a wave. Every aisle is filled with treasures from your childhood: toys you had, toys you wanted but couldn't afford, and even some you totally forgot existed until they were right there in front of you. I told a friend recently that if I had a million dollars to spend only on toys, I'd still leave that store with a wishlist. It's that packed with incredible finds. They have toys dating all the way back to the 1920s, through the golden eras of the '50s, '60s, '70s, and into the '80s and '90s--the stuff we now lovingly call "vintage" or "retro." From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars to Marvel Comics, classic board games, and massive collectible statues, the selection is wild. I'm doing a couple of photo dumps just to show people how deep the nostalgia runs there. It's more than a store--it's an experience. If you're within driving distance, I highly recommend making a day of it. Explore the beautiful town of Canal Fulton, grab some food, and then spend time walking through this amazing shop. You won't regret it. And if you're not local--good news--they ship nationwide (possibly even worldwide). Right now they've got a spring sale: 20% off most items, and even 10% off statues and busts. Plus, they're gearing up for a huge Free Comic Book Day event, with a block party, vendors, and performers. Definitely worth checking out. I walked away for a minute because they were so ridiculous. When I went back towards the checkout, a nice gentleman asked if I needed assistance and I said yes I'd like to check out and he helped me with a friendly smile and kind attitude. Manager in the store Needs to be fired as she has no idea how to deal with the public. The man that helped me, I think one of the only men that works in the store. There was extremely helpful and had a lot of good customer relations ability. The storm was so awful. I will not be going back to it.

For them it was a no-brainer when the original Lucky Records was going out of business. Over there it's nerdy stuff and toys, here you can channel that Clockwork Orange vibe I suppose. The store sign has a cool retro feel to it. The window is filled with random cardboard cutouts and pillows. Maybe as they gain their footing there will be more rhyme and reason to the window display. When I went inside, I immediately took notice of a few Walkman portable cassette players in a display case. Gave me kind of a smile and a moment to think "Wow, what a time to be alive!" I'm not that old and I did use one of those as a kid. They're not QUITE collector's items yet I don't think... That aside, there is also a blackboard just inside the door with release dates and albums listed. It includes artists both from the past and present. Wall to wall is lined with vinyl below eye-level and paintings and pictures at eye level. There are even 7 inch vinyls and a $1 bargain rack that you could peruse for hours. There's a sizeable shelf-load of CDs in the back, a cool leather sofa and branded memorabilia including mugs and shirts a-la-Blackbird. There were at least five other people browsing the selection intently when I cruised through. It not really being my thing, I was in and out quickly. However, I can still highly recommend the place if you're looking for a record in town or just looking to burn some time in a place that fits your fancy.

This one is clean, big and spacious to navigate. Even great for those people who are in wheelchairs. This store has friendly staff, great selection of pop collection items. Anime items mainly and CDs (though, those might not exist in the next 15 years) the FYE stores continue to evolve and they're doing a decent job and especially with this store in keeping up with the times. This particular store I visited for the first time. They do have lots of clothes. They have sales on their t-shirts, I particularly liked the outdoor styles they have. It would be a nice store to visit if you are looking for Columbia coats, jackets, rain gear, hoodies and t-shirts. I couldn't find a good selection of active wear leggings, pants, hikers etc. My husband couldn't find what he wanted either. So if you are visiting the outlets give it a shot. I do believe in keeping the stores open for business. I will definitely visit again in Spring and see what they have to offer at that time.
