For them it was a no-brainer when the original Lucky Records was going out of business. Over there it's nerdy stuff and toys, here you can channel that Clockwork Orange vibe I suppose. The store sign has a cool retro feel to it. The window is filled with random cardboard cutouts and pillows. Maybe as they gain their footing there will be more rhyme and reason to the window display. When I went inside, I immediately took notice of a few Walkman portable cassette players in a display case. Gave me kind of a smile and a moment to think "Wow, what a time to be alive!" I'm not that old and I did use one of those as a kid. They're not QUITE collector's items yet I don't think... That aside, there is also a blackboard just inside the door with release dates and albums listed. It includes artists both from the past and present. Wall to wall is lined with vinyl below eye-level and paintings and pictures at eye level. There are even 7 inch vinyls and a $1 bargain rack that you could peruse for hours. There's a sizeable shelf-load of CDs in the back, a cool leather sofa and branded memorabilia including mugs and shirts a-la-Blackbird. There were at least five other people browsing the selection intently when I cruised through. It not really being my thing, I was in and out quickly. However, I can still highly recommend the place if you're looking for a record in town or just looking to burn some time in a place that fits your fancy.

I was on vacation and was unable to return it right away so I tried to return it on July 9 20 days later and when I took it back to the store to exchange it for one that works properly, I was told by the desk person that it had been 20 days and they would only honor it if it was less than a week. Then he put the owner on the phone who told me that it needed to be returned within 24 hours or they wouldn't exchange it. Terrible customer service and they don't honor their products. All about the money.

Saturday mornings, after working until 1 am, I was there, tea in hand. Larry's has grown tremendously since moving to their new digs, and what's even better, they built all that stuff in their acoustic guitar room. SERIOUSLY!! And the teaching rooms - I'm jealous. My favorite sight in the store though rests on a Tama drumset "Please don't play the drums" Larry's isn't the biggest store ever, but they really do epitomize the phrase "small town service" Locals guys who know their stuff, and will bend over backwards to make you happy. I noticed that my clothes were not drying as fast as I thought. The lint screen was not fitting in…read moreits track. Well, the repair man worked miracles. My clothes now dry faster and the lint screen go into the dryer the way it should. The fill hoses screen needed to be cleaned or replaced and now water is coming into the washer as it should. Many things to the repairman who knows how to fix things!

They sell a variety of stuff but they specialize in tobacco products. They have an incredible selection of pipe tobacco, cigars, cigs, smoking accessories, as well as a vast wall of magazines of all kinds & a variety of newspapers. The smell that greets you when you walk in the door is amazing! Between the smells of tobacco, magazines & fresh roasted peanuts, it is heavenly! Yes, they roast their own peanuts too, and they are delish. The store recently added vintage items to their offerings & they have some really cool stuff at great prices. I highly recommend seeing this hometown favorite if you are in Wooster, you're bound to find something you love!
