The owners were lovely and took time to answer all of my questions, showing me the difference between the different types of Heat Transfer Vinyl that they offer. As some of the other reviews said, the owner did not wear a mask. The reviews stating that she was unfriendly/unkind, and in my opinion were completely untrue. She was very helpful and kind during our visit. One other thing to note, I did struggle to understand the pricing of their products (the vinyl prices were visible but the blank pricing was not posted). They were eager to assist when I asked questions. My visit to Crafter's Warehouse Superstore was a good experience and I will definitely return soon.

She is really good at what she does and her prices beat chain stores every day! Even with her additional products like shirts and stuff her mark up is low and by the time you pay for shipping from a wholesaler yourself depending on what you BEP is you're better served by keeping the money in the community! While they do offer a good selection of decor items, the "craft" items in itself are lacking. They're often sold out of items. That, or prices are mid for the quality. They always have coupons, but it's only good on full price items and nothing is ever not on sale. There's always sales, and as previously noted, I'm a slut for a good sale. Keyword: good, sale. Michael needs to work on the sales. Generally, this store seems to cater to specific hobbies and interests, and dedicates a good amount of real estate to these specific niche tropics... it doesn't feel all that crafty. If you split the store into sanctions, about 1/6 , at least, is straight up picture frames. Now maybe most people like frames, but I say, go to goodwill and get frames there if you can. Or build your own? Then the next 1/8 is probably wedding stuff, which I guess is cool if you're in love and getting married or whatever. Then, there's the yarn sanction, maybe 2/11's of the store? The yarn area does offer a beefy selection of yarn options if you're into yarn to make scarfs, cat toys, or whatever people use yarn for. But missed marketing opportunity to declare this area the "yarn barn" Michael! Then the next 3/23 of the store, I would estimate, is reserved for scrapbooking, and the selection looked decent, but they didn't have stickers for Papa New Guinea which was mildly infuriating. There's 7/22's of the store with items for my doodle-girlies and painters, with gel pens, sketch pads, and markers, but it felt underwhelming. I could rant for five more hours about the selection options, but we should talk about the staff... Oh, It was not great. To start with, on a weekend, only two people were working. And the cashier I had, was on the phone with the hardware store down the street, while working as a Michael's employee, trying to return an item for his personal profit, while also "working" to ring out my order. You shouldn't be handeling personal returns during work, with customers. He kept yelling "if you're paying with card, go to self checkout." Now, normally I'd go to self checkout, but I had a gift card and couldn't. Then I said I wanted $15 on the gift card and he kept saying "you said, $50?" To which I said, "no, fifteen, one-five." - I probably repeated myself 3 times. Not to mention the only gift card options were either "best teacher" or "newly wed" but I was buying the gift card as a birthday gift. "So happy birthday, you're the best teacher" is what I had to write on the card. I miss Patcatan's craft store. Kids these days will never understand. Michael, you have what it takes to turn it 'round. Let's get crafty and start making solutions.

I found a few fun designs for paint by the numbers and stopped in to get them. STORE/INVENTORY: The store is clean and spacious. The inventory is expansive. The store currently sells holiday season merchandise - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I was especially excited about pink decor! Pink ghosts, holiday trees, Santa's, and more. It made me consider pink tree this year. Despite extensive inventory, I wasn't able to find anything that I was looking for. Specifically cross stitch kits and paint by the numbers kits. The inventory displayed online did not match store display. There was no one to ask so I purchased only one item - cross stitch spruce kit. SERVICE: There is no service at this store. It makes no sense because there are plenty of employees on the sales floor. Folks working at the front of the store at a table don't acknowledge any guests. Employees working the checkout to help customers with checkout don't engage with customers. It's very robotic transaction with self-checkout and no human interaction. It's really strange and should change. I liked holiday inventory at the store. I'm not very enthusiastic about service at the store. If there was friendliness or approachability, I would inquire about more items and get them. The latter makes me not want to visit again.

The recent shows (Deck Wreckers, especially) have been pretty interesting, though I'll concede that the general aesthetic point of view seems to fit more with my own than it might with the public at large. I usually see pieces that I would seriously consider buying (sometimes I actually do) from both newcomers and better known artists, and I am glads that Rich and Jeff seems to be working hard to make cool art available to the masses at reasonable prices. They also do custom framing, and I was very impressed with a piece I had them do. Great attention to detail, as well as helpful mounting suggestions, and the prices are about the same or better than the usual places (Pat Catans, Joann, etc.). Their selection of framing materials is stellar, and they are willing and able to do more creative types of framing too.

I bought 2 Midori notebooks as a Christmas gift for my sister: the B6 Slim Blank for $13 and the larger notebook, the A5 Blank for $15. I also bought a pretty cool looking picture frame for my parents for Christmas - it is also a clock for $42 which is a great price for such a unique piece of art. Megan was incredibly helpful and patient, even though I was extremely frustrated. "Karol with a K" gave me helpful advice when I brought my machine to the shop for "open studio." Though I find the idea of crochet too intimidating to try it myself, the classes I overheard while quilting sounded like they were the sort of classes I would take if I were brave enough to try crochet. The shop also does charity work. Last year, I participated in a sew-a-thon where we made pillowcases and stuffed animals for a charity that provides beds to families who can't afford beds for their children. They have a small selection of very nice fabric and notions. Something I have not seen anywhere else is a scissor holster that one attaches to one's machine so the thread scissors don't get misplaced. I highly recommend this shop.
