Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Primarily a review for Kidforce Pinball since I didn't see a separate listing here for it. Went by before my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future! read more

Kidforce Collectibles is an awesome comic book and gaming store in Berea - that also happens to have a lot of pinball machines! I stopped in recently to check out the comic books and related Marvel collectibles. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the staff - including the very outgoing and friendly Sarah. I also met Constantine. Very nice folks. Both times I've bought some Marvel Funko Pop bobble heads. One of the cooler comic book/gaming stores I've visited thus far! #KidforceCollectibles read more

A pinball lovers dream! While they are well known in the area for being an awesome shop for collectibles, the store also has about 20 pinball machines ranging from classic titles to some of the latest releases from some of the biggest pinball builders such as Stern and Jersey Jack. One thing I love is how frequently they rotate games in and out to keep the variety fresh. They're also awesome about getting the latest releases in stock as soon as possible, so pinball lovers can try out new releases super quickly. If you love to play pinball, it's an excellent stop to make. read more

This is a cool store, true believers. The name is not in reference to Lebron's shoe company and their labor practices, but is a testament to the kid in everyone that never grows up. This cute gaming store is right in downtown Berea. The name on the front window is in Star Wars font. That explains why all they sell is Star Wars toys and a couple other collectibles. Oh, and Magic the gathering cards. Lots of them! There are several tables set up for gaming, which was in full swing when i stopped in on a Saturday morning. Comic books, not so much. They have a few. But that's okay, because i don't really buy comics anymore. I just wanted some kind of toy. The interior walls are brick, they have snacks and refreshments and the employees are very cool and not intimidating like record store geeks. I weaved through several speech impediments and ugly DC action figures until i found a gem. I bought a pint glass featuring one of my favorite characters, Moon Knight. Funny story about Moon Knight, a lesser Marvel hero. He is dressed all in white with a hood and a cape. As an eccentric child, i decided to dress up as him for Halloween. I got not one, but several "are you a Klan member?" queries that night. Trust me, he does not look like a Klan member. I also bought a Super Mario energy drink. I figure what else could be more of a power up than that? Very cool location and open early(11 am). Excelsior! read more

I recently played in the Winter pinball league for the first time. They have about 20 pinball machines in the store. I'm no expert, but they all always seem clean and to run very well. The pinball league players meet once a week (you pick your day) and play 6 machines each week. You keep score and at the end of the season there is a pinball tournament for prizes. The league costs $15 to join + the money for the games each week. It's a pretty good diversion to the winter blues that tend to happen in Cleveland. The store also has a bunch of cards, games, and comics which I can say that I know nothing about. But, the pinball is fun, so I'm sure I'll be be back for another league sometime. read more

This is a such a great store! They have something for everyone -- from the pinball machines to the comics and action figures, my whole family loves it. I also like that they have a huge variety of card/board games for all levels and interests. Awesome place to find unique gifts, and the prices are reasonable too. read more

I cannot speak to the "collectibles" nature of this store because I do not care about any of those things. All I can say is that this is the largest concentration of pinball machines that I know of in Ohio, and I am very grateful it exists. I'm not coming here to get a bunch of Star Wars action figures or D&D cards (though I could!). When I come in to get my pinball fix, the people seem nice and the store is full of people who do like those other things. Good spot. read more

I love this place. I discovered it in its first location years ago. It's been neat seeing it grow and mature over the years. Joe keeps a fully stocked store jammed (yet organized) with MTG, role playing, board games, comics, vintage and modern toys, and sundry collecting and gaming supplies. Here's why I return to Kidforce Collectibles again and again: 1. Joe knows his stuff. He's a smart guy and it's clear that while he's passionate about what he does, he's free of the often myopic view that some folks get when constantly immersed in this type of culture. He's totally into geek culture, but he's also a normal guy. 2. His employees are nice. I've been a toy collector and gamer for 25 years. My geek pedigree is solid. But all too often, when walking into a place like this, you're treated like someone that just invaded some kid's treehouse. Until you prove your worth, you're often viewed with suspicion. I'm 40 years old. I don't have time to prove my geek cred to some 22 year old Pokemon champion. Not so at Kidforce. His minions are friendly and welcoming. Joe has hired some people with not only knowledge about what they do, but the people skills to share that knowledge. And they've been there for a while. He's got a good crew. 3. This translates into the general atmosphere of the place. Are there going to be some rather eccentric personalties in places like this? Most certainly, but things here seem more affable compared to what I've encountered in similar places. read more

I made a deal to buy an item , I got there and it was jacked up $50 over what was agreed on the week before . I was told that after checking ebay the price was raised . Thats fine , I will never step foot in this store again . What a joke . On the plus side the $100 I spent the week before , I didn't get charged sales tax on because I paid in cash and the money went right into the owners pocket . read more

Found this place poking around BW, and decided to give it a try. The comic collection is incredible, and the pinball games-wow! Always a new one ready to play, and the prices are quite good for most of them. As a newcomer to comics books (and a teen girl), I was a little intimidated, but all of the staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, and willing to help find whatever I want to get my hands on. I have also gotten a couple of really cool figurines for myself and my other dorky friends, and the selection there is incredible too. I really recommend this store, to seasoned nerds and newcomers alike! read more

The store is located in a great location and has great invetory of everything from collectable toys, board games, comic books and Trading Card Games.and related products. There is no customer rewards with many customers being a little unfreindly. Tournements for Trading Card Games have great prize support and low entry cost, but come with a cost of unfreindly players who participate. I would rate this store to be average. A 30 minute drive to this location is not fully worth the drive unless there is a specific reason or item wanted. Item cost are moderate to pricey. read more

Worst place to do business ever! The owner is a total a$&hole. I would suggest going anywhere but here. Plenty of other local stores to do business with. I truly tried several times to give this local shop my money. They could never get their act together and treat me like a costumer. Every time I went in I had a different issue and they tried to blame me. I am happy to say I went down the road and found a shop that wants to help me. read more
