Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Went by…read morebefore my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

Apple Jax Chagrin Falls moved to this Peninsula location. It's a larger store with more expansive inventory. It's located in a house-looking building, which makes it more homey. It's definitely a more cozy vibe than Lakewood or Tower City Pop-up locations. Big kid at heart, I wandered into the store during a local festival. The store impressed me with a wide selection. You probably won't find these toys at big box retailers. They had nostalgic toys, table games, plush toys, magazines, and more. Check their social media for more information about the selection. The merchandise was suitable for all ages. Adults and children actively and excitedly interacted with the toys during my visit. So fun to see! If you're a collector looking for action figures, this is the place to be. There are large glass shelves with extensive choices. I was most impressed with Giga Pets (like tamagotchi), how nostalgic! Oh, and slinkies! No parking available onsite. Look for parking in the area at designated spots. This can be a little tricky during events, but this place is well worth the visit. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. I was asked if they could help with anything and when I said that I was just browsing, they seemed happy to let me look. Quite a few singles behind the counter, I didn't really look at pricing, but they had a wide array. My son asked about Pokémon, they showed him where they were but also stated they had a new release that just came out the day before behind the counter, so he was able to get a few packs. I told him which sports I was looking for, and they took the time to walk me to each section of packs and explained which ones were more popular and why. It looked like the store was well stocked with collector supplies as well. I'm not in Medina often, but I'll definitely swing by any chance I get. Great used book store!…read more My son is just starting to read, he loves books. Even though we have tons at home I like to keep his motivation going by buying new books for him to read. He loved looking through the books to find something he would enjoy. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful helping us navigate the store and sections. Kids books were about $2 and other books varied in price but all seemed reasonable for good condition books.

Although the selection is small, there is always something to find. I love used bookstores where…read morethe prices are crazy low! I left with 11 kids books for only $16 and my husband got 9 books for about $20. Many of the kids books were outdated but if you dig you can find some goodies. Plus, nonfiction is often a safe bet.
