Previously we attempted prison break and really loved that one. This time we had six people and went to The Heist. Was the first escape room we actually finished on time! Only got a few clues too. Both times, staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything seemed clean, and lots of twists and turns. Will definitely go back a third time and will try their bigger place in The Colony. The only negative I have for this place is that other people can join your group if spots are open. We had a birthday and didn't want anyone else. Luckily didn't charge us, but they wanted to. Really don't like that and haven't encountered that anywhere else. read more

One hour + two smart kids + four adults = we escaped with 32 seconds left on the clock!! I lost track of how many times we had to ask for a clue (face palm). I cannot explain how freakin AMAZING this whole experience was. It was my first escape room but certainly not my last. I can see how they could become addicting. I came here on a Thursday for the weekday special. Upon arrival, I checked in via the computer on the side and signed waivers and whatnots. We were on a 8-persons team doing a challenge. We were divvied up into two groups and were given an hour to complete the challenge. I like that we had to communicate, especially initially to be successful. I personally think 8 people is a lot for a challenge this size. It left some of us idle a lot of the time, but that's not their fault. Some of the puzzles were unique and required ingenuity to figure out. Some were simple. We were given 3 hints and each hint after was going to result in a penalty of 3 minutes from our 60 minutes. We used up our 3 hints and refused to use any more. However, they chimed in every so often as we approached the end of our time and gave us freebies. I personally didn't like that as I believe in getting there myself or not getting there at all. After completing the challenge, we were given the option to purchase the tees for 10 dollars. There was only six of us and we didnt get out. It was the easier room and we didnt get out. I guess we're not as smart as we thought we were hahaha. It was hard but fun at the same time! By far THE BEST escape rooms in the area. Katie was our game master and honestly one of the best human beings I've met in a LONG time. There's a lot to the story but long story short while we were starting to play the Gold Rush room(which is amazing by the way) she went and bought my son a toy from the kiosk outside in the mall. On her own time with her own money. It was such a nice and appreciated gesture. Katie I'm still in awe of your generosity. Thank you. Anywayyyyy, we've played all the games at this location and if I had to pick an order it would be Gold rush, prison break, playground then heist. Really like how the games are layer our. Definitely appreciate the unlimited clues and the themes of the rooms are A+. I can't wait for their new location to open in the Colony because we will definitely visit. We've done a few escape rooms before, but The Escape Game has been my favorite so far! My friend visited once and did "The Playground" which he really enjoyed, so we decided to do "The Heist" this time. "The Heist" is a museum-themed escape where we had to steal back a Monet painting from a shady museum curator. It felt like an episode of Leverage! I really enjoyed all the puzzles and tricks. Some are literal puzzles, some are number games or reading a coded map... Nate was our game master, and my friends and I tried really hard not to ask for clues because we wanted to solve it on our own... but, we would get stuck sometimes and Nate would chime in an occasional "Did you look at _____?" or "Have you tried ______?" which was helpful. Some escape rooms can be really campy and not very difficult, but this one made us really work for it! By the way-- we escaped! read more

This is the escape room(s) to beat! The setup and attention to detail was amazing and really makes you invest in the games. We did the heist first which wow that was super hard. Would not recommend for beginners! We did not escape (lol) so immediately did the gold rush after. That was soooo fun! I wish they had more rooms I would honestly do them all. Hate that it's inside the mall bc it's difficult to locate at first, they do provide very detailed instructions on their confirmation email. Getting in and out after the mall closes is kind of a pain. The staff were all really nice and had a good sense of humor. You can tell some really enjoys escape rooms themselves and I'm sure it's fun to watch people make an absolute fool of themselves lol highly highly recommend!!! read more

The Escape Game is by far my favorite Escape Game company. The fee per person initially seemed high to me, but is completely worth it and I've since gladly paid it multiple times. If you're planning on playing more than one game, considering hitting up the 20% discount offered at the end of your game to play again (does not need to be the same day). We did The Heist and Prison Break in this location. First of all, my favorite part of this location is their staff and their attentive game masters - they are incredible! The set for The Heist was really awesome, but the first room is a little small to play with a large group. I also thought The Heist had a lot of 'logic' puzzles, which if that isn't your thing, made it more difficult to play along. Prison Break has a middle room that again, is a little small for a large group. But, this was hands down my favorite game I've ever played. Both were challenging, exhilarating, and had great props and puzzles. We had such a great time! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! We do a lot of escape rooms and this place was BY FAR the best company we've ever tried! We loved it so much we went two times in one day (which gets you a 40% off on the second go-round btw). We tried The Heist and Prison Break with only the two of us and it was still a great experience. Everyone who works there seems like they love their job. Sage, Thomas, and Duncan are the ones I remember by name. They were funny, personable and knowledgeable. The games are super well designed and a perfect balance of challenging, fun, and creative. It is a must visit! (And those folks deserve a raise tbh bc they are absolutely killing it). We are already planning our next trip to one of their locations! read more

I do have to say that with gratitude and amazing customer service this is one of the best customer, employee interaction that I have ever been apart of. We have been to several of these escape rooms and they're all fun and different. However we all felt the story and the codes were unique and well thought out so we enjoyed it immensely. We did the prison escape which was cool but pretty close quarters. I would only suggest on the booking site you let folks know the difficulty of each course so you know the level of challenge. Also the directions would be better if you gave landmarks like "park near entrance 5". As it was we drove the mall trying to the address entrance. Good times. We will be back. read more

It's called, Escape game Dallas, but it's actually in Grapevine at the Grapevine Mills mall. I went with a group of 5 people. We had so much fun!!! We did the room titled: The Heist. The setting was an art gallery. It was very challenging, the bigger the group the better chance of getting out!! We almost got out but ran out of time. This was my first escape room experience and now I'm excited to go find more escape rooms! Employees were knowledgeable, helpful, and fun! It's $31 per person which is a little expensive because I have seen other escape rooms on Groupon for cheaper. This being my first escape I have nothing to compare it to, maybe the cheaper ones are not as good as the one we went to! read more

Was my first escape room experience and to be honest it was very alright, I really loved the service there but I really wish I had brought more people. I didnt have a terrible time during the escape room, but I had 1 other friend and we were matched with a group of 6. In my personal opinion, I would prefer to have people you know, so defenitely make sure you plan ahead and get a couple friends to go. Not much else to say, I really enjoyed the escape room experience. Conclusion: pretty great place but you should definitely consider bringing at least 5 or more friends withyou when you go, andalways make sure to plan ahead with these rooms. read more

Their escape room is top notch! Their rooms are very engaging and well planned out. My group and I (3 people) have been here two times already and they have always been friendly and helpful during our escape room journey. Previously, we had done the heist and prison break. Today specifically, we did the playground and Aileen was our game host and master. She was super helpful and kind. She came in clutch and gave us 2 extra minutes to finish the last puzzle since we only had 3 people. Overall, you must go to their escape room! It is an experience you will never forget.
