We came here to celebrate a birthday this weekend and had a great time. Our game master (I believe his name was Sean?? Don't remember though, sadly) was funny and interactive and the room itself was one of the most realistic and non-prop-looking I've ever seen. We did Wong's Chinese and were impressed by the real story touches to the set. All the puzzles felt good to solve and we had the perfect amount of hints to snag what we never would've noticed. Having a group of 8 worked to our advantage, and we were able to score top of the leaderboard, which was also cool. I'd recommend this place. We did not escape from the Pharaoh's Tomb but certainly had a lot of fun trying. The escape room was very large and accommodated a group of 10 comfortably. We spent the whole hour in there and used all 3 clues, but probably needed another hour to escape. Some of the puzzles were very hard, but there were many fun ones. The décor and props were great and I felt like I was in a tomb. They have a shared bathroom that requires a 4 digit code to enter. Location: There is no business name on the actual building. You would have to drive past the building to see the name on the building directory board. After trying an escape room on a trip to Branson, we were excited to come home and see what DFW has to offer. We chose the Perfect Escape in Arlington because they provided "difficulty" ratings and it allowed us to chose an easy one since we are beginners. Let me first warn you- escape rooms can make or break a family. Tensions run high and the ugly but very real side of your friend or family members competitive streak will rear it's head while you are in the thick of trying to solve puzzles. Think about this before you commit to 60 whole minutes with these people lol. This was much better than what we experienced in Branson. This was more than just figuring out combinations and locks- there were puzzles to unlock more clues and the clues revealed themselves in the most creative way. The rooms were impressive as well. It was clear that they spent some money to give these rooms an authentic feel.. and as we moved from room to room, we were more and more impressed by our surroundings. Our game master was wonderful, I wish I could remember her name. I was just so excited to play that I completely forgot to repeat her name when she said it. She was great though, she gave us clues as we asked and helped us along the way. I would love to go try out some of the other, more difficult rooms that the Perfect Escape has to offer. This place is truly an amazing escape room. The quality and detail that is put in each room is thoughtful and fun. We have tried both O'Bannion safe and Wong's and it is truly hard but we finally beat the safe the last time we went over the weekend. We have done two escape rooms now at the Perfect Escape and I can confidently say Mr.Wong's and Pharaoh's tomb are both some of the top rooms that I have ever played. I had never done an escape room. I was kinda nervous we wouldn't be able to figure it out, but it was a ton of fun!!! Tori was an INCREDIBLE gamemaster. She explained it well and made sure we felt comfortable before starting. The gamemaster communicates through the TV, and it was honestly the best part. She was incredibly funny and the perfect amount of helpful. She communicated the expectations before hand, and what to do if you needed a clue. Our group of 4 did Obannions safe, which was rated middle difficulty. We finished with 1 minute left, so it was the perfect amount of time. It had a variety of clue types. Overall the room was a ton of fun. I definitely will be going back to do the other two rooms, it was worth every penny. We loved it!!! read more

I went here with a group of my girlfriends, and to say the least, we had a BLAST!! There was a total of 4 of us, and we picked the PHARAOH room, you have to choose this room!! A challenge for SURE! But so fun. You MUST reserve ONLINE, so that your group or party is secured for that room and on the day you choose. You will receive an email right after, showing you the total price, directions, etc. Super organized. Easy parking, right at the front door. The location is among other business suites, so make sure to seek the YELLOW signs which direct you right to their location. the "key" symbols are the ones that are on the front door, that is their symbol. We walked in through their double doors, and was greeted immediately, i cant remember the employees name but she was blonde, super nice. She was super informative, and let us ask many questions, she showed us the restroom as well. You put your phone/purses in the locker and take the according lock with you. ( No PHONES ARE ALLOWED TO BE OUT in the ROOMS) So make sure not to use them in the actual escape room or you'll be disqualified. So the employee explained all the rules, how to play, etc. It was so easy to understand. We had such an amazing fun time, we felt like it bonded us more as girlfriends as well, since we really started to hang out recently. the escape room challenged us, it was so creative and really made us think. this escape room company is a MUST especially if its your first time. (They always are VERY REASONABLE on price, the best in DFW to me.) read more

I had never been in an escape room until my 2 adult children and my 11 year old grandson went with me to The Pharaoh's Tomb at The Perfect Escape office in Arlington, Texas. We had a wonderful adventure and it was an amazing experience! The hour we were in the escape rooms, we were challenged continually with creative and unusual problems set up to assist with finding our way out of the tomb. Each one of us solved some of the problems alone but most of the numerous clues were solved as a team. My 11 year old grandson solved some of them, before the adults! We were observed continually and I am sure the fellow doing that, had some good laughs as we struggled to accomplish what was set before us. The Pharaoh's Tomb is a creative well made site with good props, appropriately designed artifacts, and great room environments. We did not find our way out, but felt like we would go back another day to try again or sign up for the other escape room offerings. My family of 4 did Wong's last week and then my family and my BIL's family (4 adults, 5 teens ages 13-19) competed against each other parents vs. teens in the two O'Bannions rooms this week. My family and I have done many escape rooms (40+), while this was the first time for my BIL's family. EVERYONE had a blast. We were all still talking about it the next day. In both cases, the story line is well done. Nice variety and amount of puzzles. They were challenging, but solvable-- my favorite! Everyone was kept busy. You can tell these rooms were created by real escape room enthusiasts. Some of the props are getting a little worn. But it doesn't hinder the fun too much. We will definitely be back to do Pharoah's. Came with a group of 10 and we were blown away at the attention to detail of the room. Most of us had done some escape rooms in the past and this definitely has been the best one so far. We had the Egyptian themed room and it was so immersive and thoughtful. The story and tricks were great, and the layout was fantastic. She even allowed us extra time to finish solving the room when we hit the 60 minute mark! If you're an enthusiast or just looking for some quality team building this is the place to go. We've been here twice this month. We took a four-person group to Perfect escape for the O'Bannion's Safe room. We ended up running out of time so we don't need to discuss that... :) 5-stars for that visit though. Taz did a great job getting us prepped for the room and with the clues. However, we had some family visiting from out of town and thought this would be a great activity. With a group of 10, we decided to tackle the Pharoah's Tomb. It was such a blast. The room itself mirrored an actual tomb (right down to the sand on the floor). Ages of our group ranged from 14 to...well I'm not trying to get in trouble with any of my older family members, and everyone contributed to our escape which occurred with about 20 seconds to spare. The service was first-rate with Anna getting us booked on the phone and being flexible with the logistics of getting 10 people lined up), Tommy for his assistance throughout the tomb and, as mentioned before Taz. One more room (Mr. Wong's Restaurant) to go. Can't wait to try, although slightly sad as well since we'll have to find a new place once we complete that room. read more
