This was a fun date night! Storyline.... We were locked in multi-room prison cells and were "framed" for a crime we didn't commit (lol). We had to use quick thinking and hidden clues to escape before our scheduled execution. We were given one hour to escape and thankfully... WE DID IT! This was just challenging enough and had just the right amount of suspense to make you feel the pressure of beating the clock. It was fun, well thought out, and interactive. I am glad steps are being taken to correct this from happening in the future. I do want to clarify that there was no offer or mention for a complimentary game as suggested by the owners. EscapeXperience was pretty fun! We live in Dallas and met some friends who live in Fort Worth so we all decided on Euless as a good in-between. We booked online/over the phone and the man working was very helpful! It's also pretty close to a lot of casual dining/drinking spots so it makes a fun first stop on a night out. When we got there, it was just us, so the man set up the room for us and we got started with an introduction to the escape room Royal Heist and subsequent locking us in. There was a walkie talkie inside for communication with him including code checks or hints, and he watched us on the monitors to give us random hints, which we would not have escaped without! I've only done one escape room prior, so I don't have much to compare it to, but the room had some pretty impressive technological features. It also had some very cheap decorations. All in all, it was a fun experience with great customer service! Check it out if you're in the area. read more

We did the escape room for my birthday! There's 20 of us so we booked 2 rooms. The staff were very accommodating, I was able to join both groups. We got discounted price from Groupon and didn't have problem redeeming it online. The Lock Me If You Can group escaped with 59 seconds left in the clock. This room is more interactive and lots of clues you can find. The Library of Secrets group didn't made it on time...but we all had fun!!! read more

Update: I have now completed all 4 rooms this business offers, and would rank them as follows: 1. Lock me if you can 2. Royal Heist 3. Library of Secrets 4. Stage Call I don't want to give anything away, but the first two have more fancy and creative paths to success. The third one (Library of Secrets) was fun, but not as exciting. The last one (Stage Call) was very basic, and I would recommend it to beginners who haven't done escape rooms before. Original review: We did the Royal Heist room in a group of 2. If you have done a few escape rooms before, then this specific one is probably one of the easier rooms to solve. Game masters were nice, though only 3 clues maximum were allowed via walkie-talkies, unlike other places which give unlimited clues if you request them. Overall, we had a fun time and recommend this business for sure! read more

If this were my first experience with escape rooms, I would not want to do another one. The rooms were really poorly set up... all the props were old and not well done at all. Dingy and cheap. There's no tv to tell you of your time, it's a walkie talkie system. The guy helping us (I think Josh) was well meaning enough and really did make the experience a little better. Second time around and, let me tell you, it was even better than the first time!! The staff as we arrived were polite, energetic and had a sense of humor. During the briefing the staff member cracked a few jokes to break the ice and keep us loose. Staff, to me, make the experience and they were L E G I T !!! The facility itself was nice, with a comfy little lobby to mingle with your soon to be team. The escape room themselves were cool and full of clues!! Awesome time. We didn't escape but we would definitely go back. The rooms were well put together and we worked the entire time as a team. Everyone was able to contribute. Collin was our host and was so much fun to work with. By the way, he wears black socks and if you ask him, he will show you. Hahaha!! Awesome experience with myself and 3 others in our twenties. Purchased a Groupon and went on a Sunday evening. Shane the "game master" made it such a fun experience. He was so nice and funny and very passionate about his work! Definitely a great asset to this facility! Honestly the facility was not as nice as the majority of the places in the area. It's not super high tech and some of the props are falling apart, BUT we had so much fun regardless and were able to escape from the Lock Me if you Can room in about 40 minutes. Since we had extra time, Shane gave us a sneak peak of other rooms and we will definitely come back again to try another one for the price we were able to get! If you're looking for a high tech fancy escape room, this is not the one for you, but if you want great staff and sincere effort for the best experience, definitely give this place a try!! read more

Great experience. I played two rooms while in town for the weekend. We escaped them both and had a great time. The clues are pretty straightforward and we didn't experience any glitches. Great game play and themes. I think the prices are a tad high, but with a Groupon it was well worth it so we double booked! They are located next to Acme and construction in that area made it a tad difficult for an out-of-towner to find, but they are next to Aldi if you need a clue! This was a sad Xperience. Thankfully, it didn't change the fact that this was my first date of many with my S.O. :D But it was not well done. Our group was fast and smart enough that the staff did not give us any hints and we still got out with about 20 minutes to spare. We (4 people) did the Lock me if you can room, which is not the hardest but not the easiest I believe, and we actually escaped! This was our first experience with an escape room. Not sure I'll go back to this one, maybe I'll try another place. We had several things that didn't work, for example we had the right code to open a safe but the safe wouldn't open. When we called for help we waited at least 15 minutes for help to come and he never showed up. When we called again he said that he was sorry he forgot about us. Our black light flashlight needed new batteries. Then he didn't add any time on to our experience at the end. When we called for clues, instead of giving us clues he just told us what to do. We didn't escape but came very close. If he would have added on time for all the broken items that didn't work right we would have escaped. It was fun but very frustrating. read more

The downside was the story didn't make any sense. There really wasn't a story to follow the rooms so we weren't really sure what the end game was. I mean - yes, to get out. But what was the reason? Usually there's a good story to go with it. Even a flimsy story. There was some residue of the previous people which gave a few clues. Lock Me If You Can: Overall, I am a little mixed on this review, although it is mainly because it is impossible for me not to compare to another room we had done the same day with a very similar theme and story. This had some challenging puzzles and a few confusing things, and we did enjoy our time here. Theme:This room tries, but there are some things that are really not very believable. At first glance, all is good, but after spending time inside, it got weird. Unfortunately, I cannot share more without giving things away, but it also didn't help that we'd done another prison room that was awesome earlier in the day. Quality:In general, this was pretty good, but there were a couple of things that were hard to get working. We spent a pretty decent amount of time on a single puzzle mainly because of supplies and layout, not because we didn't know what to do with it. Difficulty:There is some challenge here - we liked the puzzles closer to the end better than those at the beginning for sure. Some neat things at that point. Fun:We had a good time with this one, once we got past the frustrating puzzles. read more

So much fun, there were about ten of us and the staff was nice. Justin went over the rules and was provided us with enough hints for us to escape before the time ran out. I recommend coming here and checking Groupon they have a good deal for this place. The rooms are a decent size as well. Took my daughters (18 & 20) for some Pre-Mother's Day fun, and we had a blast! Made it out with 5 min. to spare. We loved the fact it was just the 3 of us figuring out the clues..(with the occasional hint), but this allowed us to be silly and have no pressure. We did the Royal Heist and lets just say there's a special room with lights to avoid... we were laughing so hard, tears were rolling down our faces!! Staff was great and they were a lot of fun. My two children and I have done about 5 or 6 escape rooms in the past. We really like them and have found most challenging. The library , though, had a very unique twist that made my son and me both get such an "oooh, that is cool!" feeling, we forgot to work on the puzzles for a few minutes. (Ooops) We did need help with three puzzles, but were able to figure out the rest without hints. When compared to other escape rooms, this one has a better variety of puzzles (you are not always looking for a series of numbers to open a lock), thicker walls (we couldn't hear any of the other groups in other rooms), and more interesting twists to enjoy the experience.
