So here's the story- Milenas Bridal followed me on Instagram YEARS before I even got engaged. They liked my posts even when only 5 other people did. But hell.. their marketing worked, because the one and only wedding dress shop I went to was Milenas. I brought an entourage of characters from the sassy best friend to the grumpy grandma and our stylist handled it with ease. I tried on dresses that everyone picked, probably around 10 dresses. Our stylist was SO patient with a surround sound of input from my guests. Finally we found the gown. It was originally too full for my liking, but they gladly offered alterations which means they took 2-3 layers of the skirt out of the original design. It was white overlay with a grey underlay that fit well with my age and that it was my second wedding. It was gorgeous. It stunned my entire entourage. Even grumpy granny was beyond pleased. It took 6 months to make because it was handmade in Italy but worth every moment waiting for it. When I walked down the aisle my husband gasped and our parents cried. It was my moment and I lived it to the fullest. This style is discontinued but I highly recommend them for any boho unconventional wedding gown. They had everything to fit any ethereal dream. Thank you Milenas!

The was such a wide variety of styles and dresses. Luba was also amazing. She was kind and allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted and retry on the one I loved. She will also help you customize the dress if you need. I added a panel to my dress so it wasn't sheer and also customized my veil to match the lace of my dress! The store's dresses are a bit disorganized but the worker knew where each of the dresses were and was helpful in picking out dresses my friend would like - so helpful that the first dress was the final dress! I do wish that she had pinned the dress back and did more customizations in the moment to get the full vision of the dress. The worker did not apply any pressure for my friend to buy a dress which was great.

I found it through their sister store's website, who mentioned it being 2k dresses and under. I knew I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of money on my wedding dress, just enough to make me feel amazing the day of. I loved that it felt exclusive as it's a small store that only has 2 fitting rooms. It was just us and extremely peaceful. Erika was the associate who helped me. She made me feel super comfortable and asked what I liked and didn't like of the dresses my mom and I picked. She even picked some herself! All the dresses were beautiful so I wish I had more than 1 wedding LOL. They had a July sale in which every dress was 25% off! That's a STEAL! I'm so happy I went to Elle Mae vs. a different store in the greater Houston area. It was all I wanted and more. Notes: -There's only 6 people allowed with you. Bring people who won't give their opinions as you can easily fall into trying to people please instead of picking something YOU love. -The storefront can be easily missed since there's only a chalkboard sign out front. -Parking can also be confusing since there's a gate, but you can park in front of it. -Different payment options are available depending on your needs! I ended up with the dress I loved and a veil for just $29 over my dress budget! Again, a complete steal during the sale. I can't wait to go in a few months to pick up my items.

It took me to ask if someone was the manager to assist the dummy with printing a new one. She needs training , a better personality, and a little more effort in appearance when she shows up to work ( maybe that'll cheer her up some) and being that it's a clothing store, no employee should be in tights and a sweater and damn sure not no over sized jacket. You guys run a place of business, your employees shouldn't look like they were picked up off the street. I hate that for my black sister, we need to do better as black young adults. They had a great selection of dresses and many employees helping. We were greeted when we walked in, told about the dresses, and they said to let them know if we needed anything. I liked how they didn't hover and make us feel pressured. When my daughter was ready to try on a dress, a sales person promptly helped her and stayed with us through her trying it on, sizing her, talking about how to tailor the dress. When she said yes to the dress, the employees all complimented on how beautiful she looked in the dress. We then took pictures with props (very cute). (They let you take pictures here unlike some other formal dress stores.) We had to order a different size and it took maybe a week to come in. Not long at all. When we went to pick it up, the store wasn't as busy, and we still got great attention. They retrieved the dress, waited for her to try it on. More compliments. Very friendly, kind, patient people. The store and dressing rooms were clean. As for cost, it's expensive. But that's to be expected. We had a great experience and would recommend to others.
