So here's the story- Milenas Bridal followed me on Instagram YEARS before I even got engaged. They liked my posts even when only 5 other people did. But hell.. their marketing worked, because the one and only wedding dress shop I went to was Milenas. I brought an entourage of characters from the sassy best friend to the grumpy grandma and our stylist handled it with ease. I tried on dresses that everyone picked, probably around 10 dresses. Our stylist was SO patient with a surround sound of input from my guests. Finally we found the gown. It was originally too full for my liking, but they gladly offered alterations which means they took 2-3 layers of the skirt out of the original design. It was white overlay with a grey underlay that fit well with my age and that it was my second wedding. It was gorgeous. It stunned my entire entourage. Even grumpy granny was beyond pleased. It took 6 months to make because it was handmade in Italy but worth every moment waiting for it. When I walked down the aisle my husband gasped and our parents cried. It was my moment and I lived it to the fullest. This style is discontinued but I highly recommend them for any boho unconventional wedding gown. They had everything to fit any ethereal dream. Thank you Milenas!

The was such a wide variety of styles and dresses. Luba was also amazing. She was kind and allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted and retry on the one I loved. She will also help you customize the dress if you need. I added a panel to my dress so it wasn't sheer and also customized my veil to match the lace of my dress! I just recently picked mine up and it fit like a dream! Exactly like I imagined for my wedding. Luba is bridal jesus and will help you create exactly what you imagine for your big day!

I love that they are a local business! They gave me a personalized experience! They had my name on a welcome board outside and listened carefully as I described my wedding. Their shop was small, which made it feel very intimate, but they had plenty of dresses! My party had comfortable places to sit and the shop honored my price range. Dawn and her staff were extremely helpful (getting on dresses is hard!) they also allowed me to try on several accessories with the dress I selected, even though I did not plan to buy any. Dawn was extremely helpful after I purchased as well. She helped me find a seamstress for alterations and gave some suggestions for dress cleaning. I highly recommend this local gem for finding your dream gown!

I truly cannot recommend Evangeline Bridal enough!…read more My day started with 2 disappointing dress appointments at some other bridal stores, so, I must admit, I walked into Evangeline feeling a bit defeated and down. My friends and I showed up about 30 minutes early and were greeted by the owner, Candice. She immediately had such a sweet and calming presence, greeted us with a smile, and offered us waters (it was HOT outside). After she checked in on another girl in the store, then directed us to the dress racks, explained the designers, styles, sizes and etc to us and let us browse while she stuck around close by to answer our questions or give suggestions. I was initially slightly worried about the dress selection as it seemed somewhat small at first, however, that really wasn't the case. Candice carries such a WIDE variety of styles -- traditional, bohemian, even several black wedding dress options. The racks also didn't leave me feeling overwhelmed and lost. It was actually nice that it wasn't 50 dresses all smashed up against each other leaving you struggling to search around. After I made my selections, Candice brought me to the changing room and explained the whole trying on process. She really tries to give you your privacy as you change into the dresses as well, but was also right there to provide any help! A local designer (Natalie Harris) was in store and Candice had asked her if she could pull one of her prototype samples for me to try on. Natalie was also a joy to have around and was kind enough to allow me to try on her dress! Both of these women made me feel so special and beautiful in such a genuine way and really turned my dress shopping day around. The store is gorgeous, clean, bright, and very well organized. RUN, do not walk to Evangeline Bridal!

I was really nervous to start this journey of looking for a dress and trying on in front of others. So after reading reviews at several shops i picked this one for my first bridal appointment ever. I reached out to see if I could do a just me appointment to figure out what shape would look best to take a little pressure off. Alyssa reached out to confirmed my appointment which we changed to a Stylist appointment instead of Bridal. Stylist is more to help you figure out what looks best and the Bridal is when you do all the dresses :). I was going alone but my sister in law really didn't want me alone so I agreed to let her go. When I arrived Alyssa and Kaitlyn were there and instantly just relaxed me. They are the sweetest and put ZERO pressure in getting a dress. I gave some information on what I thought I was looking for and my venue. They both had 1 dress in mind and pulled a few others. Kaitlyn reassured me and was so amazing with the time we spent together. The dress they both picked was jaw dropping, instant tears, so perfect, and beautiful and not what I thought I would like/love lol. We tried a few more styles and figured out I'm a classy fit and flare lady. I serious can't wait to make my bridal appointment for my maid of honor to come. Literally in tears writing this because i never thought that I would feel pretty in a wedding dress. Again there was no pressure at all to buy dresses Kaitlyn did write down the information for one dress for me so I could come back later. But they made such an impression on me. I'll be getting my dress from here for sure.
