The restaurant itself is beautiful and the dishes live up to being inspired by Czech cuisine. There are times when one or two dishes are phenomenal and the rest are simply good. From beginning to end everything exceeded my expectations. The service was incredible - attentive but not overbearing. As a whole the meal was paced perfectly. My friend had a dietary restriction and they accommodated her flawlessly. All the praise for this restaurant is deserved. At some point I will return to Prague and I will make it a point to come back and dine here again.

Seating inside with open windows provides great views of the hillside as well as the busy sidewalk. The staff was very attentive and accommodating for us and for the large number of guests that were showing up for Easter Day dinner. They carved out time for our table to sample their wines and beers before ordering and were very on top of ensuring everything about our experience was going well. For the high quality food this restaurant produces and the overall experience, I think you are getting a great value for your money if you decide to visit this place during your stay in Prague.

The sea bream was a generous portion, I don't always love spinach but I really enjoyed how they served the spinach, the fish had a crispy skin and was moist inside. Cucumber salad side dish seems so simple but perfectly executed. I guess it's how thinly they sliced the cucumber and the freshness of the cream. I love that they had a children's menu- we have eaten and many fine dining spots across Prague and this was the first we got a kids menu. The kids menu has Shnitzel with mashed potatoes and my kids absolutely scarfed it down. Also a generous portion, the chicken shnitzel was crispy and moist. The porcini souffle with mushroom stuffed gnocchi was a great vegetarian dish. Last but not least, we ordered 5 desserts to share and all were top notch. The foie gras was seared to perfection and served with some blood sausage, peas, and mushrooms. Excellent. Moved on to the wild duck breast wrapped in a pork sausage and it was tasty. As wild duck is gamier and leaner than farmed duck, the duck was cooked to a perfect medium rare and served inside a pork sausage. Presentation and portions were amazing. We also ordered a Czech Pinot. Quite tasty. We split a dessert some ice cream and fancy flavors. Service was excellent. Ambiance is high endy-trendy with a lot of black and silver. The beef in my dish was so tender, not overcooked and was soaked in a rich dark gravy topped with onions and a pepper, served with some excellent potato dumplings. Her pork was juicy and tender, coupled with a slightly sweet white cabbage it was a big contrast to the goulash. The service was fast, maybe 5 minutes after we put our order in.
