Beyond the bright blue doors to St. Martin's awaits your opportunity for a lovely meal. At first it looks tiny, but we were led to a delightful patio/garden seating area where we relaxed for our lunch. The quinoa avocado dish was just what I needed! Fresh and healthful. Charming atmosphere, great food, an awesome cocktail, and friendly server. Recommend!

This was super close to our hotel, and we came here upon recommendation. It was a very quaint and cute restaurant, with delicious wine and upscale food. The service was a bit slow, but perfect for those trying to enjoy their meal. We had the special of the night- asparagus salad to share for appetizer. This was delicious with a poached egg. I also had the pork belly confit, which was delicious and hearty. The kimchi was interesting and not very authentic, but the dish overall was tasty. My mom got the beef Bourgogne, but it was pretty salty.

This was another restaurant that was par of the Prague food tour, we had a modern twist on cabbage soup here and we had a nice sun dried tomato appetizer. The place is tiny but very good food and great experience overall.

After walking our toes off or what it felt like touring part of the city, we stumbled upon this hidden little gem! Wasn't until later we found out that this is on some food tours and I have no doubt as to why. Worth the walk, worth the wait if there is one, worth coming back again... this is the one place we are sure we will revisit when we return to this charming city. We had a variety of food amongst the four of us, beef, boar, duck and it was all of the upmost flavor and presentation was also great. Small little place that made you feel like you were sitting on the patio outside someons personal kitchen.

Where do I start with this place ..... I am still at the restaurant and I don't want to leave, I feel like giving a huge to the chef. We came here after a long hike up to the Petrin view point up the hill, we were starving. The first question we asked the staff was if the accept credit cards , they said YES, which is a big plus, especially for tourists( they don't take Amex FYI ). I ordered the beer ( kozel dark ) , it was amazing, perfect balance and gives you a good buzz ( one more reason why I am still sitting here :) ). My friends ordered campari with orange juice and local read wine, both were very good. For the main course, we ordered beef Bourguignon and the zucchini pie ........... mind blowing is the word!!!! Then our friendly waitress asked us if we wanted dessert..... we were already full .... but thank god we decided to order the chocolate shot ...... I don't have words to describe it ..... ok .... I will try ..... it's a chocolate cup filled with eggnog.... it looks like it was made for the gods!!!! I will include a video check it out

The place was reasonably priced. The food was made to order and fresh. The shrimp was well seasoned. We loved everything. If you want to relax ask to be seated in the garden.

As we arrived in Prague, the weather turned cold and rainy, so we decided not to venture too far away from the hotel for dinner. St. Martin was located less than a block from our hotel and highly recommended by the staff. The interior of St. Martin is warm, cozy and inviting, with jazz music posters all around. The dining room is basic, yet well appointed and comfortable. Great place to get in out of the weather. Because of the chilly temperatures, we opted for a selection of comfort food to stave off the lingering effects of jet lag. We both started with the soup-of-the-day, which happened to be warm, creamy tomato soup service in a glass container with crispy bread sticks. For our entree, we again selected the same daily special, Beef Bourguignon. It was rich, thick and well seasoned. Paired with a glass of Cabernet and a Scotch, it was the perfect meal for our first evening in Prague. We could definitely see ourselves becoming regulars if we lived close by.

Exellent restaurant near prague castle. Do not miss on your trip to Prague. Reasonable prices for exquisite food.

    Tomato soup with creamy ricotta

Great little spot near the castle- wasn't expecting much based on looks but was presented with a a surprisingly high end and delicious meal! Food: Soup of the day- tomato with a creamy dollop of ricotta, perfect for a cold day and presentation was adorable in a little jar. Duck- great presentation with a tangy and sweet orange sauce and gnocchi. A tasty and modern play on duck a l'orange. Pork- an Asian twist, came with kimchi and "bun" puffs tucked between the pork belly. So refreshing to have some spice and kick to a meal after many nights of barely seasoned food! Overall: would highly recommend, such a quaint little spot! We got lucky and snagged a table before the lunch rush, but I recommend coming right when they open to get a seat- particularly of a large group. Reasonably priced as well- our meal came to 600 czk.

Amazing food was perfect! Off the the tourist walk and worth getting away from the crowds. Cozy modern decor.

Hugo spritz with rotten mint inside

They gave us Hugo Spritz with rotten and moldy mint leaves inside. When we asked the waiter for a replacement one he just shrugged and never brought it to us. Very disappointing and potentially dangerous.

You absolutely have to try this restaurant. Very friendly service and outstanding price for value. As a group of three we paid around 50 Euros including tip (starter, main, beverage). Our favourite was the beef carpaccio!

We ordered the beef cheeks, which were served cold (likely as intended but not what I was expecting). Flavor was fine but not great. The burger was also just okay. For something so standard, it was passable but not likely to order again. Our favorite dishes were 1) the duck and 2) potato and vegetable patties. Duck was crispy, hot, and had pretty good flavor! The vegetable patties were also crispy and balanced, slightly sweet. The beer list was limited but we liked what we ordered. Hate to be a broken record but we've had better while in the city. Wouldn't recommend this place to a friend since it was just average.

If you are looking for a very lively place that seats about thirteen hundred guests per day and has twelve tanks of beer, and the beer hall vibe then this spot is most certainly for you. Close to the Old Town square it is not at all touristy, the service is good and the prices are very fair for what you get. K ordered the Goulash, and I had the Chicken Schnitzel along with a beetroot salad to share. The food was plentiful and very good, especially the goulash gravy which was a deep colour that had amazing flavour. The schnitzel was not as big as the plate, but I couldn't finish it. K had a glass of wine and I a beer for about $64 CDN, which is good in Prague. Our only quibble was that the beetroot salad turned into a cabbage salad with horseradish. It was also good, but not what we ordered. We would most certainly come back and endure the half hour wait to experience and enjoy what is a somewhat unique European offering.
