Drawer Depot did an amazing job for me. I had 8 kitchen drawers made of stapled/glued MDF that were falling apart. I was having trouble finding a local shop to take on a "small" job, so I decided to do it myself. I did my research and found Drawer Depot online. The website laid out a variety of options. I kept things simple and only ordered a drawer box. No slides, no changes. I reused existing hardware and drawer fronts. I ordered a single drawer box to see how the process went and what kind of product I was buying. My test drawer worked extremely well (super pleased) so I ordered the remaing 7 drawers. It's a well-made product. Solid, clean. The shipment packaging is excellent. As always, measure twice and double/triple check your order before submiting as all errors are on you. DrawerDepot.com was great to work with! We replaced 4 poor-quality factory drawers in our kitchen with ones from Drawer Depot. The drawers came out amazing, and Maria was a huge help! There are a plethora of drawer options available on the website, which makes choosing this company easy. We had some questions, and Maria was great and helped answer all of them. We also moved to the undermount Blum soft-close drawers, and Drawer Depot sells all the parts, cuts the notches, holes, and has them ready to put in. These were made to the exact specifications, and the drawers fit perfectly into our drawer bank openings. The product cost is reasonable when you think about the time and money it would take you to do the same, however, the quality of these drawers is very high. We thought the shipping costs were priced high at first, but after we received the drawers, we saw the care put into packing each drawer for shipping and added protection from any delivery mishaps. I hate to give this review, but I must. Great drawers, quality construction. The drawers were measured to perfection, the opening, the size, etc. However, when we called and spoke with a CSR, they spoke to me regarding dimensions and depth And sliders. They stated that the smaller slider 18" would be sufficient for a 24" drawer. End story - the drawers I ordered were 6" shorter in depth; because the ordered sliders cut the drawer size. Absolutely worthless......great quality, solid drawers, but absolutely worthless for my application. When I called and asked what happened, the rep only stated that the website and emails confirm an order. I was on the phone with the CSR for the order and they dictated what I selected on the website. The drawers are super solid and quality made, but don't fit my application and thus far would only be good for a bonfire. Wasted $600.00 - buyer beware. read more

honestly, if I could give them zero stars I would. Their customer service is hands-down, the worst ever. They canceled my order without even telling me, no email nothing. we had to call them to Find out why our order was cancelled... I called customer service three separate times/days they continued to tell me they'd call me back, which they never did. On the third time, I asked to speak to a manager, and was promised I would get a callback. Still haven't heard from them, and probably won't. Don't order from this company they are awful. read more

Like most people embarking on a DIY project, I researched drawers at several websites, blogs, Pinterest - you name it. There were equal numbers of success and horror stories and it came down to how much confidence you had in your own abilities. Well - that puts a burden on the company you choose to help guide you through the process, and TDD does that exceedingly well. They answered basic questions through mail and phone and I built enough confidence to order so I got on the phone with them to place the order, - I recommend this for first timers. They have a cabinet wizard which will auto calculate drawers from opening sizes or you can explicitly measure out your drawers. They received the order, reviewed it, and called back since there was some ambiguity. They left nothing to chance. Who does that today? The ship date they generated put me past my deadline so I requested them to ship earlier - they did. The drawers themselves were beautifully finished - I went with just above basic grade ply, heavy duty glides and a heavier bottom since my drawers measured 32" wide. Right there, several websites fell out of the running. I HIGHLY recommend getting them to install the drawer guides. Now to the challenges: There is no documentation except some BLUM glide videos on youtube which is okay but not really enough. The glides are heavy and greasy. Front to back, they tend to slide around so I stuck one screw in the middle and then used a level to align up/down/front/back positions and kept tapping in screws to firm it up. Ideally, a VIX bit would have helped but I didn't have one. I had a bottom drawer so I started with that and worked my way up. I slid the drawer into the slides, locked it in and then slid the whole thing into the cabinet to align the front where I wanted. I did this by actually marking the back of the glide and removed the drawer, giving me a mark on which to place the glide. The point is, the front of the glide is offset from the front of the cabinet/face frame - so that when it closes, it lines up exactly where you want it to. Just how much shouldn't be a guessing (measurement game). Place it exactly where you want it and use a pencil to mark it. I cut myself 2 identical pieces of scrap to support the glide I was installing above it, next. I placed these on the existing glide, then repeated the process by centering a screw in the guide being installed and then repeating the alignment steps. The whole thing cost $$ to ship from CA to TX but they arrived beautifully packed on a pallet and with not a scratch on them. Despite that, I think I paid less than any other site I shopped them with. The wife is happy, and I plan to order more.. read more

These guys are great. I had a unique project where i wanted to have drawers and cabinets built into a deep wall space created by the weird Mansard roof on my house. I needed custom made cabinets with a back that was at an angle rather than the standard vertical back. I sent Marek at Drawer Depot a drawing of what i needed, we talked about it a bit to get the details right , and then he made them and delivered on time. I ordered six drawers. The drawers arrived without the locking devices which were supposed to be installed. I talked to Danny on a Tuesday about the locks not being installed. He said he would send them to me immediately since I wanted to install the drawers before the countertops were to be installed on Friday. I called on Friday to inquire about the locking devices, which I had already purchased locally because I didn't have much hope in receiving them in time. The person who answered my call said Danny would call me back, which he never did. The locking devices(4 that were incorrect) were sent out that Friday afternoon! I sent an email in hopes of getting a response about my getting my money back for the locking devices. It's been a week and I'm still waiting for a response from Danny!!! read more

UGH!!! I ordered a set of drawers from here with slides over the phone - nobody told me that I would need to order screws for the slides as well. I had hired someone to install them and we had to wait for drawer depot to send us the accompanying screws . ok, so I learned something here. The next shipment of 18 drawers I ordered the screws. ha! THEY DO NOT DOUBLE CHECK THEIR SHIPMENTS. I received my drawers and hired a woodworker to install them - he etched out two days. guess what? they forgot to include the screws I ordered for the drawer slides. I am now paying my woodworker to go around looking for screws to fit my drawer slides. I called customer service and there is "nothing they can do." They could mail me the screws - by then my woodworker will be on another job - or refund me the money for the screws - $4.00. I asked that they locate a store in LA that has the exact screws I need and I'll pick them up, but they couldn't locate a store that carries them? the initial order was for around $800, the second order was for about $1,400. you would think they would double check the shipment. SO FRUSTRATED. read more

Last summer I renovated my kitchen and decided to reface the cabinets and install new drawer boxes. These guys are great and local. I was so glad to find UDB because buying from a cabinet shop will always include substantial markup. They build your boxes from birch plywood so they are beautiful and strong. They sell all the slides and hardware too. They can walk you through the process. I recommend UDB for anyone looking to replace drawer boxes. read more

I ordered a spice rack from DrawerDepot.com about 6 weeks ago. As always I measured twice and put the dimensions in as per the website instructions. When the drawer arrived, it fit perfectly in the cabinet box but came with 2 "undermount" slides that needed to be installed on both sides of the drawer. There were no instructions related to this on the ordering page or on the checkout page. I contacted customer support about this matter and they linked me to a page that was not available on the ordering page or on the measurement page that said to account for leave 5/8" width for the slides. I asked what could be done and they said order a new one. Very helpful, i'll be going elsewhere for my drawers next time. read more

Great drawer boxes at an affordable price...came the exact size I needed for my cabinet with inset drawers. Called back to revise the size two days after placing the order, and Siboney corrected it and sent me a revised confirmation. Called back a couple days later, to add the 5 piece face plates...they still shipped my order using the original shipping date, so I did not have to wait another week for changing my mind!!!. You can not beat the price for the time and material I saved not having to do this detail work myself....and great customer service!!! Shipped across the country to me in well protected packaging. I placed a small order for a 33" wide drawer to put under our cooktop. Was impressed with all the wood species choices AND the ability to have some of the hardware installed on the drawer depending on brand and type. Drawer fit perfectly, was very well constructed with dovetails and center support under the bottom due to the width. The finish on the white oak I chose was great. Can't say enough good about this company. Downside? I had to wait about a month for it but it was very much well worth it. read more

After trying in vain to obtain additional CD/DVD storage drawers for a Techline black melamine Euro stereo cabinet, I happened upon these folks online. All I can say is WOW! I was impressed with their on-line custom ordering system that leads you step by step through the process very efficiently and thoroughly, with a LOT of options, and they estimated an 11 day shipping window. 4-days later I was amazed to receive a shipping notice and tracking number with an expected surface shipping time (this was over a weekend) of 5 days from California to Texas. The three packages were delivered 4 days later! So what about the product you may be wondering - well it was worth the price just for the packaging - awesome. This is particle board stuff and I swear you could have driven a truck over them and not suffered any damage. Triple wrapped in very heavy duty cardboard with plastic wrap, taped, and plastic straps (about 12 of them). The drawers are perfect, and the full extension slides are so good, I am probably going to retrofit the existing original 3/4 opening drawers with the same slides to get that extra useable space. We are building a new house at present, and my mind is already finding excuses to have them build some custom specialty drawers for the kitchen cabinets. Bravo UDB !! read more

I'm in the process of ordering all new cabinets doors and drawer fronts for a friend in NYC. I have been in constant contact with Marek to design this kitchen to spec. It's a tiny kitchen in a tight space which are much more difficult to design than you would think. So far I can say I have never dealt with such professional kind and cooperative people ever. It's night and day from the vendors I have met in NYC. I am getting the entire kitchen in walnut veneered plywood. I am thrilled so far with the whole process and the customer service. It's just unheard if today to get such personal attention without spending a fortune. I will update this when I get the kitchen delivered and installed. So excited read more

I ordered from this company several times and never had an issue until now. Unfortunately they have lost my business. I ordered two small drawers, and after 4 weeks still had not received them. When I inquired I was told that the payment never went through, even though it clearly shows the order as pending in my account. The order was in their system for a month and no one bothered to update me on the status or try to collect the payment again. Now my project is 4 weeks behind and I have to make it right with my customer. When I asked them about trying to expedite the order I was told that was not on option. When I responded that I would no longer be using their company I was told "thats fine". They did not even try to correct the situation. I might be a small customer, but I was a regular customer. I find this to be a very offensive handling of customer service and a very sad business practice. read more
