The employee who answered said he would look into it, then set the phone down and began speaking negatively about me to other staff members--even though I had been polite throughout the call. It was very unprofessional. He said a manager would follow up. A few days later, a manager contacted me and apologized, saying they would issue a refund and send a gift card, which I appreciated (though it wasn't necessary).
