A couple hours later I get a text with a link to an inspection report. They cited a number of repairs the car "needed" including the work I brought the car in for. I declined all the work. They jacked up the price of the requested repair a couple times. None of the other work they said I needed was legitimate. They charged me $165 for an inspection I never requested. The ?owner? waived the fee because I never signed off on it when I dropped the car off. Said it was standard practice. So instead of picking up a repaired vehicle and paying them the very substantial fee I agreed to, I took back my still broken car and they lost my business and all future business. The car developed an exhaust leak shortly after. The header bolts had been loosened on one side. I did the requested repair myself for $150 in a couple hours and tightened up the header bolts. I can't tell you if they know how to work on cars, only that they didn't want to do the requested repair on mine.

The only thing that seized was the a/c unit. We now have our truck back and working fine for $1,600, Major error on 9th Street's part. Additionally, the work order to replace the a/c unit listed replacing the #1 spark plug and the ignition coil because they had been removed. If they get it on the rack and they can't align it.. they will still charge you.. and no, that fee will not be applied towards when you come back in after your problems are fixed .. Why the one star review.. because there is absolutely nothing on their walls or on the desk when you walk in that states this policy. Heck they don't even bother to mention it to you verbally! The lady at the front desk (in my opinion) was pretty rude about it when I challenged them on that practice. It's deception and honestly bad business practice. The least they can do is put a sign on the front desk that lets customers know about this.

Stating that I'd pick up the vehicle at 5pm. The only time I could get a ride. It was dark when I got the vehicle just as they closed. When I arrived home I discovered that both back doors were disassembled with parts covering the floor (see photos). They were closed for the weekend so I had to rent a vehicle for my family as my van was now only a 2 seater. And I'd be without the vehicle again to get the door reassembled. They reimbursed me $39 for my inconvenience (their stated cost to put the doors back together). Months later I was shown (see photos) that they reversed the wiring for the brake light & turn signal. All this time I had only one brake light and no right turn signal thanks to their 'repair'. Two trips to new mechanic required to get it in working order .
