The details: Our vehicle was having "speed wobbles" on our way to Bend for a Saturday visit. I contacted Les Schwab, explained my situation and they fit me in at about 11:30am. Being from out-of-town, I needed to leave the next day. At about 4:45pm they contacted me stating I needed a new control arm (amongst other things) which would take a couple hours to repair. They said I'd be taking a big risk driving, BUT, they were about to close and couldn't fix it until Monday! I can't tell you how disappointed I am with LS and their lack of human kindness. I understand my "keys" were in line for service, but come on. We returned to our accommodations by about 5:30pm and scoured through Google, to find 99% of the businesses were closed until Monday! Enter NEXT GEN MOBILE AUTO REPAIR, what a blessing. I called, and Sebastian was calm, communicative, reassuring and happy to help. He said he could take care of it first thing in the morning. I went from being frazzled to relaxed, and was able to enjoy what was left of our evening. Sebastian under promised, over delivered and did it all at a competitive price! The cruise control began kicking off, and then some warning lights came on. When I got to Bend in the late evening we stopped at a parts store and they put the Jeep on the diagnostic tester, and it gave several error codes, but they said it would probably be ok to drive the remaining 250-300 miles home through some desolate country, at night with a chance of rain. When we got to Redmond we decided to stop and get a hotel and have the Jeep checked out in the morning. I chose Earp's. Good choice!! I was greeted by Jason, and he immediately looked at the error codes, consulted his mechanics data base on common fixes for those codes, and cleaned and tightened the battery terminals and the ground connections, while checking the battery voltage readings. After spending 30-40 minutes working on the car, he told me he'd be comfortable driving it home. I asked him how much I owed him, and he said no charge...just get home safely! We were back on the road, and one of the best things to come from this was the peace of mind I had while traveling North. We drove all the way home with no issues, no warning lights...no problems at all! Jason: you are my hero! I would highly recommend this shop for your auto needs.

I got a service-while-you-wait appointment a day or so after my initial call. As it turns out, my oil drain had not been properly tightened at a different shop (not Gil's). Gil's tightened it and cleaned things up. The kicker? They didn't charge me a penny for this. I'm sure there are lots of honest mechanics in town. I'm glad I've found one here. I'll be back for all of my future oil changes now.

Made an appointment online to schedule a tire swap. Next available appointment was almost 2 months…read moreout. Waited a 6 days to receive confirmation and never got one. I called in and they confirmed it was set but sounded slightly annoyed when I inquired. Went to my appointment and there was 1 gentleman reading a paper waiting in the waiting area. No hustle or bustle at 9am. Seemed pretty slow. The employee at the counter was on the phone for a few minutes before acknowledging me. Somehow took him a while comprehend what I was wanting which was mount my winter tire/rims and remove and dispose of my old tires and put extra rims in trunk. He confirmed all my info and sent me on my way. Waited for a call that never came and so I called back around 3pm and David told me tires were done hours ago and called and left me a voicemail. That was a lie. When I came to pick up my car, they informed me one of my TPMS sensors was malfunctioning but they didn't replace it and told me to make another appointment at $80 to get it checked. Apparently, they were too busy to add an extra 30 minutes to accomodate a long time customer. I had 4 easily accessible TPMS sensors in the trunk. When I looked at my invoice, TPMS fail wasn't even on it it. They only told me verbally. NOW i have to drive with an annoying dash light for the next few months until I get a whole new set of tires next year. After Travis sold, it has not been the same. Service has gone downhill, the honesty and integrity I valued at this location for over 20 years has disappeared. Too bad. I was ready to buy a full set next season. But hey, they cleaned my windshield from the inside.
