But this summer ACHD chip-sealed ALL the roads where I live and work, and I got a big chip in my windshield, and then another chip that was deeper - that expanded in the heat the next day to be a rainbow at the bottom of my windshield. I haven't had this new windshield even a year! Dumb rocks and ACHD. But the trim at the top of my windshield started flapping around so I stopped in to Integrity and let them know the situation and then joked asking it there is a 1 year warranty on my windshield (which there isn't). I told them I would be back another time to replace it but not today, just needed the trim to not fly off. Brent said not a problem that he could fix that trim right then, and took my car around to fix the trim. When he came back he said it was just the decorative trim that fills the gap of the car trim, so It's still sealed & waterproofed. But that he was going to warranty replace my windshield since all the trim was loose and shouldn't be at less than a year. I was shocked! Just looked at him. He repeated "no cost to you, full replacement. when can you come back and we'll get you a new windshield?" NO one does stuff like this. I was all "I was joking... but I'll take it! Wow thank you!" I cannot say enough good things about Brent, and his team. They are kind, professional, and excellent. When they replaced my windshield last fall, I was impressed and happy with what they did. Clear View responded within 20-30 minutes with a quote of $60- the best quote I was able to get. Brian, the owner, gave me an hour time window when he'd be by... none of that " We could be there around 8 am or it could be 8 pm who knows". I got a confirmation that he was on his way at the top of the time frame and I barely got through my basic scrolling on social media and he was there! Brian was friendly and efficient! The whole process was about 15-20 minutes. The fix comes with a lifetime of the car guarantee. I wasn't able to get this covered by my insurance because of my higher deductible- so I paid $60 flat in cash. Very much worth it for the service and guarantee that it won't cause any problems in the future.

I had to call twice to get the ball rolling but once scheduled, their communication was good and the technician showed up [today] on time to fix the issue. He adjusted the screen door to glide as well as possibly, explaining that there was a small raised area in the slider frame that impeded the movement. The person who helped me was the owner I believe and rather than telling me I needed to replace my window, he went to town and fixed it. He gave me options for what it would cost to replace if it ended up cracking more in the winter but told me it likely would not and would last for quite some time. *edit 19 April: Dave paid another company to replace *some* of the damages incurred during the…read morewindshield replacement his team performed in March, however, he won't take responsibility for things such as a loose cowling and a bow/bulge in the side panel of the windshield . The bow/budge is caused by a broken/missing piece of the BASE of said side panel. He takes no responsibility for these damages and believes I should be happy with a replacement of 1 of 3 things identified as damaged by two (2) other shops. When I called to speak to him about it, he didn't hang up before I heard him yell something along the lines of "oh are you kidding". Original: Price point for install of a windshield was competitive compared to every other shop I called, however while working the replacement, they broke a mechanism that moves the windshield wipers. They were able to locate and replace the part at their expense *edit: i found out they didn't actually replace this part but instead WIRED it back together and didn't tell me. Another shop examined the vehicle and took photos showing me the wired pieces. He later agreed to replace this piece but only after I called and complained. He wired the items together and had no intention of telling me. Original continued: The day after replacement, I noticed extreme shakiness on my rear view mirror while driving. When I called to inquire, Dave - the owner - said they were in such a rush to fix what they broke that they may not have installed the mirror correctly. He advised me to roll up some paper and stuff it in the back of the mirror before going to another glass shop and asking them to fix it - due to being on cell phones, we were inadvertently talking over one another and he had quite an attitude about "let me finish what I am trying to say" which wasn't appreciated. I would never recommend Dave and am considering taking him to small claims court for the damage his tech caused that he refuses to replace, as though I should be happy and accept partial reimbursement for $700 in damages.
