We had In-Depth Detailing in Meridian install PPF on our 2026 Cadillac Escalade and couldn't be happier with the results. The quality of the work and attention to detail were excellent, and the PPF looks incredibly clean. I'm very particular about who I trust with a brand-new vehicle, and their team did an outstanding job from start to finish. Great communication, professional service, and most importantly, excellent workmanship. I'd highly recommend In-Depth Detailing to anyone looking for high-quality PPF work. read more

Unfortunately the need to share this review feels imperative. We brought our vehicle to In-depth Detailing just before Christmas last year and were "sold" on their PPF solution as the very best of the best solution to 100% protect our car. Being told it had an industry leading warranty. Spending nearly $3,000 with the understanding that this was the very best product to protect our car and again that it had a phenomenal warranty. Fast forward not 5 months later and there is significant damage to the hood of our car. Going through the PPF and damaging the paint underneath. From what you ask, a rock. The one guaranteed thing we were sold on couldn't damage our car with this PPF. Upon taking the vehicle in to see what they could do. They offered to replace it with a new piece for upwards of $800-$1,000. Stating it wasn't covered under the warranty. Or they could cut out a triangle or square from the hood of the PPF to lay it flat. Thus not fixing the problem, only leaving the hood exposed to more potential damage. I asked why this wouldn't be covered under the warranty we were sold on and was told it just basically is what it is. The warranty ONLY covers manufacturing defects. Meaning it doesn't do a thing once they put it on the car. You're just simply out the money and have to hope damage doesn't occur like we've already experienced. I was referred to speak with STEK themselves who led me down the same rabbit hole of no options without spending even more money and being told I should be grateful for all the damage I can't see since I have this PPF. Frustrating yes. Disappointing even more. Unfortunately we got the short end of the stick and are left with a product that doesn't do what it claims to do. A shop that cannot help come up with a solution that takes care of a customer and what's even worse I have damage to my brand new car. Avoid being scammed like we were. They are phenomenal sales guys. I'll give them that. But when it comes to a problem, they don't stand behind what they sell or install. They quote policy and take no action to try and work with customers to find solutions that are at a minimum of what they are happy to sell you on in the beginning. I would recommend avoiding the shop. read more

The owner and the crew did a fantastic job on my 1 ton black dually. I can't say enough about how well they worked with me during this whole process. I am ecstatic about how everything turned out. I had polish and ceramic coating on my black Dually truck. Then I went back and had a PPF satin wrap applied to the hood, roof, and fenders of my truck. The whole process was seamless and the guys made it very easy for me. Outstanding work, top quality, and a great attitude everyone in the shop has. The cost was worth every dollar spent. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you guys and I'll be back for more. read more

Called Chris after getting into town following a long drive from LA. I had so many bugs in the front of the Tesla you could hardly see the paint. He gave me a great price to clean it up and it looked brand new when he was done. He also gave me a super deal on ceramic protection and PPF. It came out perfect and he does a 2 week checkup on the work to assure it stays perfect. Best of all, Chris is super nice and easy to work with. He communicates very well and is super responsive. He's very engaged in his business and cares how the customer feels. Something we don't see often anymore. I'd highly recommend this business and will take my car there in the future. read more

When I originally called and spoke to Chris the owner he quoted me between $6,000 and $7,000 to do a full PPF and Tint on my brand new BMW X5M Competition and said it would be done in a week. We scheduled an appointment and I spoke to him multiple times throughout the week before my appointment to make sure we were on the same page with scheduling and other details. When it came time to drop the car off his employee Rob told me he couldn't give a firm price until til he ordered the materials and knew the cost. They refused to give me a firm quote even after I dropped the vehicle off on Thursday 8/1 and left on my week long vacation (this was one of the many thing I spoke to him about). My dad reached out to try and get some prices emailed over to him. They refused to give him a firm price for the vehicle, after arguing with them for hours my dad was able to come to a price of $7,000, and they should have started the PPF, and Tint by Friday 8/2 at the latest. They never once updated me on the progress! And then today 8/8 when I reached out, because it has been a week and I hadn't heard anything, Rob told me the vehicle wouldn't be done until Wednesday of next week 8/14. We had a short phone call after hearing this where Chris, the owner, was extremely rude to me and told me to "just come get your car I'm done dealing with you I'll take the loss on the PPF already cut". We drove strait there and had to stand and wait 45 minutes for them to ceramic coat the car "as a courtesy" because in the week they had the car they hadn't even touched it. We were standing in the waiting room and we heard them slamming doors and throwing things around, after they shut all of the doors so we could no longer see inside the shop. Neither the Tint nor the PPF were even started. When talking to them on the phone they said they decided to take Sunday off because they needed a day to cool off from this whole situation, then in person they told us they hadn't started it yet because the materials weren't there, then they changed the story and said an admin was having personal issues. The customer services or lack there of was astounding I dropped my car off a week ago, and not one thing was different when I picked it up. I highly do not recommend this business!! read more

I am "repurposing" a cart and the nylon on the much-used cart I bought was REALLY dirty . It is an old cart, but I wanted to see if it was possible to achieve "somewhat" clean. A lot of shops might have passed on such a small project because there is not much in it for them financially, BUT, boy oh boy, Muriel and Chris embraced the challenge as through I was offering them the opportunity to clean a fleet of vehicles! Upon first meeting I was greeted as though I was a long time client. I think how a business treats the "little guy" tells you a lot about their commitment and Chris and Muriel impressed me. When I arrived there were vehicles "in progress" in their place of business, so they asked me leave it with them and they promised to have it ready in an hour. I was a little surprised and thought I would need to pick it up another day. I returned in an hour to find a VERY good outcome. Good work, great staff, very reasonable pricing. Who could ask for more! Thank you Chris and Muriel for your skills, your kindness and your willingness to take on small projects at a very very fair price. read more

The following is a complaint I submitted to the BBB, they never responded. This business promised me a $100 refund after their poor service. I have yet to receive a check for this credit and it has been several months. I would never recommend this company. Terrible service and a rip off! read more

I'm not sure I have the words to express how impressed I am with Chris and his company. Within the first five minutes of meeting it was clear this young man was an expert in this field. I've been a car guy my whole life, and you can believe me when I say Chris is the Real Deal. His place is not gaudy or fancy, but where the rubber meets the road in the shop, and in quality, integrity, expertise, and honesty, this place is First Class all the way. I was blown away at how great my car looked when he was finished with it because I was sure that some of the paint issues were beyond repair. Trusting the care of my cars to someone else is not easy for me, but I can enthusiastically and without reservation or hesitation endorse this man and his business to anyone who's looking for the absolute best for their car's needs. Outstanding work, outstanding work ethic, and the best I've seen in his field. Well, maybe I did have a few words to express for Chris and InDepth Detailing after all. InDepth did a great job on my car. Took out all the swirl marks in my paint...While no detail is forever, I dont expect those marks to ever show again. The technicians were super nice. I purchased a truck a few months ago during bad weather and thought the paint was just dirty. Once I could finally clean and wax her I found that this paint was beyond repair. I worked on it and was so sick I considered selling it. Chris is part of a group of Porsche owners I belong too. I would watch his detail videos. I thought maybe he could help. I always thought, It's easy to polish something that's already beautiful not sure if he could help with this. He was able to do a paint correction and put on his own in-house ceramic coating. My truck looks amazing. I have renewed my love for her!! Can't wait to wash it for the first time and enjoy the beautiful finish. I have no idea how they have a 4.9. I bought my daughter a detailing there and they did a horrible job, plus they scuffed her headliner. See the photos - taken right after the detailing. I asked for a refund and they said they wanted to see it for themselves. No problem. That was three weeks ago and they've failed to respond to my offer to bring it back in - or anything. I scheduled a full interior and exterior detail and ceramic coat for my car Friday 9/2. I dropped it off at 10am as they requested and told them they could have it for the full day. I had borrowed another car and worked that out so they could keep my car. They don't close til 7pm. They call me at 4pm telling me my car is done and to come get it. I get there and pay them and tip them, then they tell me that they didn't finish the exterior and that I would have to come back another time and it would take an hour for them to do that. Being as it was 4 and they don't close til 7 I have no idea why they didn't just finish the job I paid in full for on the day of my scheduled appt. I tried to be understanding and asked when I could bring it back, they said anytime. I had a family member hospitalized and had to be at the hospital several hours a day plus I am moving so packing and getting storage and moving furniture also on top of working full time with several deadlines to meet. I'm busy. I don't have time to just go sit there for an hour. So I planned to take my car there today after work and pay for an Uber to take me back to Nampa to pack more and another Uber to drive me back to meridian (2 additional expenses that never should have been considered because they should have done the full job when it was scheduled and paid for). So I get there this afternoon and the guy tells me they are too busy and asks me to bring it back tomorrow at 4. So I wasted another 40 minutes driving back to meridian and then back to Nampa. I am not going to bother wasting more time, gas, and money tomorrow and am just taking the loss on the exterior detail I have already paid and tipped for. I will never return here or recommend it to anyone I know. They have no regard for your time, gas, and money. read more

Look no further. This is the place you'll love. We called Chris, in a panic, after dropping a huge mess on the fabric seat of a brand new car. Liquid went in all the cracks and crevices. Horrible mess. Chris calmly said to bring in the car; he'll be waiting for us. What?? This was amazing--the best detailing shop in the Valley and we get top-notch and immediate treatment for a spill? Yes. You know why? Chris could tell that this was an important--really important--issue for us, and we needed him to help us get through it. Chris believes in the power of relationships, and that value carries through his business. Chris was, of course, waiting for us and got to work on the spill right away. The front seat looked as good as new after an hour. It was a perfectly-executed job. What was and is more important to us is the customer care that Chris lives in his business. We have found a new, wonderful business partner and it all comes down to Chris treating us like family. Seriously--don't look any further than 272 E. 5th St. in Meridian. We are so glad we found Chris and his business; it's like no other. Tell him Laurel sent you! ; ) read more

Worst car wash ever! Definitely not worth over $350! They had my husbands truck for 9.5 hours and it isn't any cleaner than when I dropped it off. Seats still have crumbs on them! Floor mats weren't even hosed off. Thick film on windows making it difficult to see through. There was no detail attended to. This was a high priced car wash. We were told at pickup that if he "had it for longer" he could have gotten more done. 9.5 hours wasn't enough?! And they told us it'd be done at 5 and we're sent away at 5 ( the exterior hadn't even been touched at that point!)to be called an hour later to pick it up. read more

Can't say enough positive things about this shop. They ceramic coated a brand new truck and it never looked better. I drove three hours to have the work done at Indepth and then drove it all winter without a wash. Still looks new, so I actually upgraded to the lifetime coating based on how well it's performed. I've had trucks coated at the dealership that didn't turn out nearly this good. If they can fit you in I highly recommend Indepth. read more

From my first information call to online booking to drop off and pick up this was a very easy transaction. I loved being able to build my own detail online without worry because when I dropped my vehicle off Brenna took the time to walk through each of my selections and make sure they aligned with my desired results. I took my F150 Supercab to get the Ceramic coating on it. I opted to go for the top of the line service. It has been almost 1 month since I had the work done. I've typically used just a regular old car wash; i needed to have my Ford Fiesta detail cleaned since I was trading it in for a new car. Super awesome job!!! The car looked amazing ended up getting more than asking price. They go the extra mile too cleaned off the engine block; it looked brand new from top to bottom. I purchased a Land Rover he told me about his coating-he created it and offers it for $200 (other guys upwards $1,000). This gives your car a lasting shine for up to five years; is resistant to water, salt, water spots will ensure you will have a shiny car. Highly recommended. When I brought in my "new to me" Infiniti G-35, it had an improperly applied, bubbling and yellowing clear bra installed that was seriously hurting the look of the car. Chris and Muriel made space for me in their schedule and spent the better part of the day removing the nasty mess from our car. With the head lamp covers newly polished and the hood and fenders polished...the car looked amazing! Best of all the price was extremely fair for the time and effort required to achieve this result. Where's the button so I can select 6 stars?!? Chris and his staff continually surpass expectations. I haven't found a detail shop in all of Idaho that can hold a candle to what this crew does. I picked up my car the other day and there was a brand new Audi R8 getting work done at his shop. These are the people the owners of $200,000+ cars bring their vehicles to!! I had a very negative experience with In Depth Detailing. I hired them to detail a small SUV that I was getting ready to sell. The owner, Chris, promised the technician would be prompt. However, the morning of the detail, the tech was more than 30 minutes late, making me late for a meeting. The technician also did not do a thorough job. There was plenty of dirt and grime inside and out after he finished. I discovered later that he tripped a circuit in my garage, which would have left him without power. No wonder the vacuuming job wasn't very good. The tech also used a product that left light discolored splotches on the beige cargo area carpet. I was extremely unhappy when I came home and reviewed the work that had been done. I took photos and immediately notified Chris. He came to inspect the vehicle. He agreed that the detail job was poor, although we both tried to give the tech the benefit of the doubt since it had been a cloudy, rainy day and there was a lot of pet hair in the vehicle. However, Chris argued with me about the discoloration, stating that it wasn't their fault. He provided some scientific literature about how the chemical works and continued to claim it wasn't their fault. Bottom line, I had vacuumed that carpet the weekend before and it wasn't discolored. I don't care how their chemicals work, they created a discoloration where there wasn't one before. I did not pay for the detail job and was offered a comp detail from Chris. However, he fell through when it came time to schedule the comp detail job, claiming his equipment had been sent to Australia and putting me off on scheduling the complimentary detail. At the end of the day, I don't know if I would have been 100% comfortable letting them work on another vehicle of mine anyway. I ended up detailing our other car myself the following weekend and did a much better job than what In Depth wanted to charge me $230 for. I found In Depth to be an unprofessional outfit in all aspects of the way this was handled and I would not recommend them. Given my experience, I am also very suspicious of the legitimacy of the 5 star reviews they have received. read more
