If you love your pet and value your financial security, read this entire review. DO NOT fall for…read morethe corporate subscription trap or the convenience marketing of Vetco Total Care. What looks like an easy neighborhood vet stop is actually a corporate system engineered to maximize profit at every turn, even at the cost of your animal's health. There are completely no limits to the dangerous lengths they are willing to go to to maximize those profits. They will knowingly fabricate a completely fake diagnosis, write expensive prescriptions for entirely healthy ears, and aggressively push unnecessary, highly dangerous general anesthesia on a brachycephalic puppy just to pad the invoice and hit corporate billing quotas. They push subscription-based business models, hit you with outrageous junk fees, and charge exploitative prices. They intentionally manufacture a completely false medical condition, create massive fear and panic, and then instantly present you with a quick remedy that will cost you an extra $90 today just to treat the exact fake diagnosis they just fabricated. They also slap you with extreme, standard markups across their entire store, charging a massive $50 for an ear wash that can be purchased for just $14 at an honest company like Tractor Supply. This massive pricing inflation is exactly why they heavily market their subscription "perk" of a $15 reward back every single month. It is a psychological trap designed to make you think the cost takes care of itself, when in reality, their everyday shelf inventory is so heavily marked up that your monthly reward is completely meaningless. You are still giving them far more money on basic supplies They tack on arbitrary, nickel-and-diming fees for absolutely everything. When our puppy had a completely normal biological response inside the exam room, they actually slapped a sanitation charge onto our bill even though we cleaned up the accident entirely ourselves. The entire floor design of this retail store actively invites animals inside to walk throughout the building, making accidents a mathematical and biological certainty. They do not charge the everyday retail pet parents walking the store aisles for an accident, but the second you cross into their corporate veterinary clinic, it becomes another excuse to drain your wallet. To make matters worse, they even charged us a junk fee to dispose of the very medical tools they used to charge us their standard exam fee. What is happening here goes far beyond corporate greed--this is corporate-level medical malpractice and a total abandonment of the most basic medical ethics. It is a terrifying reality how dangerous they are. Dr. Watkins knowingly and willingly pushed multiple fabrications, including a fake infection, a fake embedded hair, and a fake foxtail, and she was fully prepared to stand her ground on those lies to the absolute limit. It was later proven that day by a reputable Vet that his ears were completely pristine! She aggressively pushed a highly dangerous general anesthesia cocktail of ketamine, propofol, and diazepam on our 9-month-old brachycephalic puppy so they could charge us $600 to pull a fabricated foxtail out of his ear. This is from a doctor who was suddenly claiming she was completely incapable of performing a simple otoscope exam that she had successfully completed without an assistant just seven days prior--all because we standardly refused to hand over a $68 repeat recheck fee that our paid annual subscription explicitly covers. When we stood our ground, the manager immediately stepped in, aggressively interrogating us on whether our dog was on a heavy "Chill Protocol" sedative cocktail. They intentionally label perfectly calm, still animals as problematic just so they can push dangerous sedation for routine, basic exams. The moment we standardly requested a second medical opinion--a routine, encouraged right in all medicine human or veterinarian--the manager met us at the desk with a phone number and canceled our annual contract on the spot, locking our puppy out of care with 10 months left on our prepaid year of doctor visits. Don't expect to ever see the same doctor twice; in our first three visits, we saw three separate doctors. Vetco Total Care relies on a high turnover rate of veterinarians, as professionals with actual standards are unlikely to risk their licenses or compromise patient care to meet corporate billing quotas. They use calculated fear and intimidation tactics, intentionally engineering a stressful environment to turn you into a worried pet parent so you will blindly hand over your credit card out of pure panic for your animal's safety. Protect your savings and protect your sanity. Take your beloved animals to a trusted, independent veterinarian instead of letting a corporate chain treat your fur babies like cash machines. Stay tuned for the entire story..

I asked that they do the dog that had the puppies first because she was skidich leaving her pups. I could not see what was being done because they were in an area I couldn't see. There were so many dogs being worked on. Very busy. Less than an hour they brought my dogs. The mom dog was damp but the other one was completely dry. I was surprised it was less than an hour for the two dogs. In other places I've gone to, it is almost an hour each to service. After i took them,They had no shampoo smell a nd noticed the mom dogs nails were not trimmed properly. Still long and very sharp instead if grinding down. I called the next day and said her nails weren't trimmed properly. So the person I spoke to said to come back to have them redone. I did. This was somuch of my time wasted and more nervous tension for the moment dog to leave her pups. The nails were trimmed properly now. Also, I was told one person was going to work on the dogs. I feel the way the both were so different and the time it took, there had to be more than one. She did not come ot to apologize about the trouble and had a different person take care of the nails. So, watching as the other employees work on the other dogs, and the amount of time spent washing, I feel they didn't do what I had asked to wash. It also takes time to wash and dry.. I will not be going back.
