This is an updated review after I retracted the original review I previously wrote as I was giving…read moremy vet the benefit of the doubt. My dog was originally diagnosed with an eye condition that requires him to be on a life long med or he could possibly go blind. Upon my visit to my current vet she advised she would renew his prescription. When I ordered it the prescription was denied by chewy stating that the vet denied it. When I contacted my current vet about this she advised me she would not renew this med until he was seen bye an ophthalmologist in Medford. I then asked why I wasn't told this at the visit or made aware when she made this decision, or any time that I called after to find out why and all she could tell me is she had poor communication with me. So I made an appt for end of March since this ophthalmologist travels to Redding. I asked Westside if they would renew his med until he could be seen. She refused. He ran out of his ointment and after 2 days his eyes got significantly worse so I made an appt at Shingletown vet. At my appointment with Shingletown vet they confirmed he had the eye condition and in fact needed the medication right away. He was then given his medication right there in the office, and they advised that they would renew his medication and there was no need for me to meet with the ophthalmologist and spend another $300.

Marty has helped with every step from crate training, potty training, name recognition, recall, loose leash training, "mine & take it", socializing and many other commands. Disappointed! They gave me a liquid antibiotic that got me…read morethru 4 days of 7. My doctor visit was $340. I gave my cat a water diluted antibiotic for Sunday & Monday, until I could tell them I was out. They said I must have been doing something wrong or my syringe was incorrect, to bring everything in. I did. My mark on the syringe was correct but they pleaded with me that I should have had enough. I did not spill it, as it is an anti spill bottle. I gave the correct dosage everyday. I told them there was not much in the bottle to begin with, They gave me more, in a different bottle that was black, a new syringe that was the same size, kept my old bottle and charged me $41. I barely got 2 full doses out of the new bottle ( bubbles at end of 2nd dose). I pulled the gasket top off and it was indeed empty. I have been generally happy with the vets there but this situation really didn't feel right which is why I am writing about it. I am not even sure how to protect myself in the future. I guess I would politely ask them to prove it or convince me there is enough or take a picture of the bottle if the liquid is visible along with their written commitment of the quantity in the bottle. I guess just beware when you cannot count your antibiotic and it is liquid!!!!

We picked TMP because they had good reviews and when they didn't have a good review, the owner always replied to the complaint and addressed it to the best of their ability. We took our two dogs here for the first time today and had a great experience! I loved that they had fully customizable services and service add ons that you could do through their online booking which allowed my partner and I to have full control over what we wanted. Even better, upon drop off each grooming tech went over with me verbally what I wanted for each dog. This allowed me to mention anything I forgot or ask any questions. The groom for two dogs took about two hours and they called me right away when they were ready for pick up. They did a great job - we chose a bath and sani-cut for both doggos and both were executed wonderfully! The women there were courteous, kind, professional, and friendly ! We are definitely thrilled to have had a wonderful experience and will be back for their next groom. If you are looking to support a local business and want your pets treated well, this is the place!
