Just your classic market store serving gas station snacks and drinks with a deli. They have a ton of sandwich options both hot and cold. We settled on the Walk of Shame and the Cheesesteak. I really enjoyed my sandwich (walk of shame). The sweet pickles were a good choice to balance some of the heat. Pastrami and bread were great. My husband said he was let down by the cheesesteak. The meat itself was good but the veggies were a little undercooked and he said it was lacking cheese. Each sandwich comes with a fountain drink and chips.

Pleasantly surprised. my wife had the cheese quesadilla which is one of the better quesadillas i've tasted...perfectly cooked. I had the 3 layer hero sandwich which I thoroughly enjoyed. The potato salad that came with it was poor and without taste. If there is a dessert menu, we never saw it. service was top notch and she made time to answer a few questions. I would definately go back there. The one thing I noted, the view of the Pacific was hampered by the dirtyness of the windows. They could use a thorough cleaning inside and out.

Stood at the host stand for 7 minutes before a server yelled from across the room for us to sit along the wall. Not the way to greet a customer! We sat and saw about 20 tables full and less than half of them had any food on the table. There may have only been the one server. We decided to leave since we anticipated a long wait for food. Looking at other reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor, this place has really poor service and attitude. No reason to go back even if the food is good.

Hubby ordered fish and chips and popcorn shrimp. I ordered the breadbowl. Hubby said his food was amazing. My chowder in the breadbowl was also delicious. The bread was toasted just right- the potatoes inside the chowder were diced so it felt they kinda melted in your mouth. The clams were really delicious too! Service is hard for me to gauge but honestly I think it's pretty good since they packed everything with care! Ambience I can't answer but I will have to visit this place before we head out to SoCal!

I would order this again :) The house salad was better than expected! The large is a hearty portion ($10), almost like a Cobb salad with so many goodies. I would have been fine with the smaller version for $6 since we ordered multiple items. The calamari was perfect!! Very Light breading so you can actually taste the calamari. I like that they had both the calamari rings and the mini octopus pieces. The two sauces and lemon wedges made it a perfect appetizer. If you like a good local IPA, give their "Reverse Math West Coast IPA" a try *so tasty* I would definitely order this again. Also, super cool that they fill their glasses from the bottom; keeps the foam to a minimum which really helps with the flavor being just the beer *yummers*

Do yourself a favor and try any of the Superfly specials with it, they'll surprise you. They do have a food menu, but it's a martini bar first and restaurant second. The food was pretty decent, but the knife work, plating and ratios showed the experience behind the stove. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could order fish tacos even though it wasn't on the menu. I love a good grilled fish taco so I went for it. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well, the green and orange sauces were good if a little too mild, and the tortillas were the right style but not grilled quite enough. Also, there was very little cilantro or onion and almost no cabbage so they weren't as filling as I would have liked. My wife had the Katsu Chicken Salad. It arrived plated like it was deconstructed: the katsu on a bed of lettuce greens with very thick slices of vegetables around around the plate and the dressing on the side. It was odd, clunky and the katsu was under seasoned. The peanut dressing was divine though, my wife said she could have drank that like milk. There are some other dishes I'd like to try and their drinks were fantastic so we'll definitely try them again.
