Duck

I came here for dinner and it was a lovely experience! The interior was chic, simple, and nicely decorated for Christmas. We made a reservation for a Sunday dinner but it wasn't necessary as the restaurant was pretty empty, Started off with the Korean chicken wings. Please get them as they won't disappoint you! They were fried to perfection and the sauce was really good and had a nice kick. The wings were not soggy. I also ordered the duck entree and it was flavorful and not too fatty. It paired well with my glass of Riesling although I prefer my wines to be a little sweeter.

I really wanted to love this place, and there were definitely some highlights, but our visit ended up being a bit mixed. The server was very friendly, but our group of five waited quite a while for food, cocktails, and even to close out, which made the visit feel longer than expected. The burger was a hit for those who ordered it, but the seasonal beet ravioli just didn't land for the rest of us -- probably just not the right flavor combo for our group. Our table was also right by the front door, which kept swinging open and letting in cold air, so that definitely affected our comfort. That said, the cocktails were delicious and really creative. The place came highly recommended, so I'd still like to come back and try something different next time.

On a recent trip to Buffalo we stumbled upon The Dapper Goose and were so impressed. The menu items are sourced locally and created with thoughtfulness. We both enjoyed our meals, and the atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. we will definitely be back!

We had a great dinner here tonight for a friend's birthday. Parking is street parking but we were able to find spots. I'm sure on busier nights that could be a bit more tricky. The vibe is intimate and cute. We were welcomed in right away and seated. We started with two cocktails. Both the Spacewalker Jan and the None of this is Real were great. We started with the ricotta toast which was good. Then we both had the burger and it was delicious! Great flavor and melt in your mouth. We ended with the olive oil cake. Overall a great meal with great service!

Food - 4 ( just needed a pinch of salt) Price - 4 Atmosphere - 4 Service - 5 Get the Korean chicken wings! I can't tell you how delicious it was. Fettuccine was excellent and the pork was amazing. The food needed a little salt but just a little. I will definitely be returning here.

Yellowtail tuna steak

Delicious main entree. Medium rare tuna in a delicious breading over baba ghanoush with fried garbanzo beans and tomato cucumber bulgar wheat salad.

We had a reservation for five at The Dapper Goose for a birthday dinner, and the experience was completely uncomfortable and disappointing. The food was good, but not good enough to make up for how shockingly rude and unwelcoming the staff were. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt cold. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we were a polite, low-maintenance group, yet the staff treated us like an inconvenience. Our server and the person bussing our table were both noticeably short and dismissive. Every interaction felt awkward, tense, and unnecessarily hostile. For a place where entrées start at $25 and it presents itself as an elevated dining experience, the lack of basic hospitality was appalling. We left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Good food doesn't matter when the people serving it make you feel unwelcome from the moment you arrive. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had high expectations of this place just from word of mouth. Got there around 6 pm for dinner on a Thursday and it was reasonably busy. We had a reservation so I was seated promptly. I got a glass of Riesling as I waited for my friend which was decent. With the food, we ordered the blackened green beans and the ricotta toast for mains and olive oil cake for dessert. The toast was ok, nothing impressive. The beans were surprisingly the best thing we got. Not sure what sauce they used, but it was definitely delicious. The olive oil cake was disappointing and didn't impress. What surprised me the most is quantity of food to cost ratio. The quality of 2 out of 3 dishes was just mediocre but the price point is pretty high for all of it. Service was good but not sure if I'll venture there again unless the prices go down.

i went for brunch and it was really nice! i have gluten restrictions so when i ordered the dippy eggs, they switched out the bread for hashbrowns without me even asking. very considerate! of course, the food was great as well. i liked the portion sizes; they weren't overwhelming. also the mixed dishware was a cute touch

What is the dress code? Would shorts, tropical shirt and loafers be OK in the summer?

Yup! While the food and décor is slightly upscale, you won't be out of place in shorts and a button up Hawaiian shirt. Just make sure the shorts are nice, not lacrosse shorts, lol. You sound summer ready! Enjoy! The food is amazing and the cocktails…

Parking was decent but we went on a Wednesday night so I think it would be rough on a weekend. There was a decent sized lot which was pretty full except for a few spots. However, there is street parking as well. We made reservations and we were sat pretty immediately. I found the service throughout to be top notch. It seems like they have different people for specific jobs (someone taking your order, someone boxing up your food, etc). So things went really smooth. We got: 1. The mushroom soup (a special): one of my favorite things we got. Super creamy and great flavor. 2. Margherita focaccia: this was more like a pizza. Super good but be aware it's really filling and a large portion! 3. The ravioli: our waiter described this an Italian burrito and he was not wrong. It's absolutely massive and I would also compare it to a lasagna. It was a bit intimidating and prepare to take the rest home with you, but still great. 4. Yellow fin tuna (the fish special): the tuna was great, good texture. It came with tempura shrimp which was excellent. The bbq sauce they have under the food was kind of a weird sauce to go with it so that wasn't my favorite. 5. A lavender mocktail: wasn't a huge fan of this because it had a really strong syrupy lavender flavor. Definitely not subtle so just be aware of that. Overall really great experience!

We also got the meat street pizza which was fine. The low rating is mainly due to the prices because how much we paid and what we got was not equivalent at all. The dip was $16 and the pizza $26. Each should have been at least half of that. Overall it was disappointing and overpriced and we won't be returning.
