As a loyal customer over the past 5-8 years, I'm sad to see that the beautiful kind lady who sold the shop has retired. The attitude and nerve of the new owner/personnel managing this shop are horrible! If they make a mistake and you ask them to fix it, beware! You will become the next target. If you dont want customers to provide there feedback, when you show them the cake, ask them to verify its correct, and it's not correct, then DONT ASK or be ready to make it right! Needless to say, they have completely lost our business, unless the new owner wants to reach out and discuss (I am always open to constructive dialog). I like that they have mini cupcakes as well as a larger size, because this was my second time here and the smaller size allowed me to get six different cupcake flavors without feeling guilty or feeling like the cupcakes would be too filling. Flavors that I got: watermelon, lavender orange, s'mores, mancake (chocolate with maple flavored cream and bacon on top), chocolate mint, and carrot cake. I was pleasantly surprised to find a chocolate filling when I cut the mint chocolate cupcake in half, although I would have liked a stronger mint flavor from this cupcake. The chocolate peanut butter cupcake was topped with crushed peanut butter cups and a butter cream. The cake had a peanut butter swirl in the chocolate cake. My kids usually don't like frosting and will scrape it off any cake they eat, but there was nothing left, so I'm sure that means it was a thumbs up on their part! The husband and I chose Peanut Butter Chocolate. OMG. No joke, probably the best cupcake I have eaten in as long as I can remember. I'm not even kidding or exaggerating. The cake was dense and moist, the buttercream frosting was thick and sweet with a slight PB taste, and complimented the cake perfectly. The chocolate and PB flavors blended so nicely... the cupcake also maintained that small bakery/homemade taste. Says something about the ingredients! They also offer vegan and sugar free options. The entire list of flavors is huge, so select flavors are sold each week.
