Did a pickup order via Doordash. I ordered Pizza and lemon pepper wings. The sauce to cheese ratio was not great unless you love the thick layer of cheese with a super thin layer of this sauce. The wings arw pretty good. I put them in my air fryer when I got home. They only thing I don't like is that is doesn't say how many wings come with your order. Six wings for $20 is really steep. read more

Came here the first time recently with my husband and some friends. It was during a Latino night, so downstairs had a live DJ on stage and people dancing on the floor. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We ended up spending time both downstairs and upstairs. Upstairs had food you can order, so we sat at a table and ordered at the bar. My husband and I were standing there for a few minutes, and the bartender lady seemed busy at first, but even after she was finished she kind of just stood there. It wasn't for another few minutes when she came to us, despite us standing there staring and waving at her. She seemed fine when we placed our order and she explained we could not go back to our table until the food came out. Fine. The food was ready, we took it to the table and ate. But when it was time to close our tab, my husband and I went back up. I wanted a refill on my water so I placed the glass next to him. The same lady from before looked at us, turned around and walked to the back to stand in the corner and ignore us. The guy on the other side was busier, but he came over and gave him the receipt to close his check. But then he snatched my glass and dumped it. When my husband finished signing we asked if we could have a refill on the water and he just pointed to the water keg and said "get it from over there." But last time I got it from the bar, he just took my glass. The food was pretty good, though. We ended up ordering the Buffalo wings and beef mac and cheese. The wings weren't too spicy, and they were on the small side but were not dry at all. The Mac and cheese was sooo cheesy! The beef was cut a little thin and the bread crumbs tasted like they were put on top after it was baked, but tasted good regardless. The restrooms both downstairs and upstairs were clean and well kept. The bars itself and general location were also pretty clean. We also loved the giant Connect 4 game. There were also arcade games on the left side upstairs, and a few pool tables for further entertainment. Overall, it was really the rude service that made it a sour experience. I would leave zero stars and if I could. We came in as a group of 8. There were 10 other people in the restaurant bar. My family got all their food. ASAP. We waited a good hour for our food. A pizza and a salad. Easy. Instead of the server saying they would do the best they could, she kept passing the buck on to the "kitchen is so backed up" and there were so many other orders. We asked for extra condiments. This was forgotten about as well. We are reasonable people with reasonable expectations. Our business was not important . Beware going to this establishment. Service was lacking. Seemed like the bar staff were just not very attentive, even after I was standing at the bar for a few minutes they were busy chatting with each other. The live music was great though, and the pizza was surprisingly tasty with a good leopard print crust. I'd definitely come back if there is something cool happening music-wise. read more

The Crystal has become such a Juneau staple in a short amount of time. As a venue, they host so many artists throughout the year, and I've been to a few events here as well. Every time has been so fun, even when things get a bit crazy and busy. Even when it's been super packed and busy, the servers have been great and they're all really cool when they get a chance to chat. Downstairs (main level) has the craft cocktails I usually gravitate towards, with my favorite being the passion fruit bellini. Upstairs is the Bearcade, offering arcade games, giant connect four, pool, and a good selection of standard bar drinks. You can typically order food at either level, and you absolutely should! The Crystal's chef, Ivan, has been creating more and more delicious foods worthy of a sit down restaurant. To have them along with the cool bar atmosphere is chef's kiss! Try any and every type of pizza, because you simply cannot go wrong. The wings are the tastiest in town. As of yesterday, they are serving ceviche (throughout the summer), and it was delicious! Since I'll be moving soon, this is one place I will really miss! read more

Our bartender, Laib, was friendly and helpful. We stopped in for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat before whale watching. Good selection of liquor, and the spicy buffalo chicken mac and cheese was delicious! Also they had Fernet, which was a huge plus for me. read more

First time checking this place out & it was still under some construction since the upstairs level was not yet open. We sat at the bar & had some beers which was nice, nice looking place below there wasn't many people here at the time but the bartender was nice, talkative .. we enjoyed our drinks. I was back in Juneau come August & we stopped by one night to check the place out, much better there was live entertainment below & seemed to be crowded. This time we headed upstairs to check it out not, there's a bar area, you have pool tables , games enough to keep u entertain for a few not too bad. Music playing , some seating areas a little bit of everything if u are here to kill an hour or two not bad they did a nice job with the upstairs area. read more

We had the best time here. We were looking for a quick fun cocktail before a kayak tour and this spot did not disappoint. Dustin was our bartender and even tho he was on his way to a wedding in a few hours, he was fully present for us and we really enjoyed getting to know him and his story. He made us more than one creative cocktail and catered to our tastes. While we were there, I asked about flyers for a band that was performing that night and from down the bar a manager looking person who was clicking on his computer said he just released a few more tickets from last minute cancellations and if we wanted to go, hop online and get them. We looked at Dustin for guidance and without hesitation he said, "GO." Since that's all the information I needed, we purchased the tickets, paid our tab, said goodbye to our new bud, kayaked to the glacier, showered and came back to the bar for round #2 later that night. The band playing was the Kitchen Dwellers; also highly recommended if you ever get a chance to see them. They play covers and originals both and have a big following. We closed out the night with to-go pizza from the restaurant they have in the back (also amazing) and bid adieu to our new favorite Juneau spot. read more

Nice looking venue with HORRIBLE service!! Clearly someone spent a bunch of money spiffing this place up, but ordering a drink is an awful nightmare. Went there two separate nights, both times this guy was working and he was an absolute dick to me and others in my party who also tried to order drinks from him. Also, he repeatedly poured much larger pours for women, which is a creepy sleazy bartender move to try to get the ladies in the bar impaired and "easier targets". Disgusting. read more

We dropped in to catch a drink because we heard a nice band playing here. The ambiance seemed nice and the moose head was cool looking. Unfortunately, the service wasn't so hot. I asked for a lemon drop and it was something poured out of the tap. I tasted it and said I didn't like it. It didn't taste like a lemon drop at all. I asked if I could have something else. The bar tenders gave me something sweet and then charged me for both drinks. Even though I didn't drink the first one. I asked why I had to pay for the first drink when it wasn't a real lemon drop. I took a drink of the second one ( my replacement) and that tasted horrible as well. We just paid for everything and then we got up and walked out. My husband didn't finish his beer either. It's too bad that blond female bartender didn't work with us because we wouldn't have stayed a couple hours and purchased a few more drinks. read more

A spacious and fun place to be. Great decor and wonderful staff. Amazing food; fresh Halibut ceviche, Cranberry, walnut, goat cheese, spinach salad, cheesecake with strawberry/rhubarb sauce. The gluten free, sweet and spicy pizza was the best gluten free pizza we've ever had. read more

Came for babes and ballads night. Fantastic venue, great bartenders and drinks (reasonably priced and delicious). Bring your own food which is a plus. Artists were great and the whole event seemed very organized and professional while still feeling incredibly inclusive and comfortable. Sounds like they have a lot of unique and creative events I would love to come back to town for. More than anything i love the "pay what you can" for ticket prices for events. Really shows the intentions of the business to cultivate creativity, art and entertainment - not just a money hungry profit turner. I think people will defitinitely contribute on the higher end (i encourage it if you are considering) because it is way worth it and that means everyone can come enjoy regardless of status. They also didnt push drink sales at all which was really nice, there were plenty of people just drinking water so dont get turned away if youre interested just because it is a bar. Cant say enough good things about this experience last night - truly a special place with the friendliest and most welcoming staff and crowd. I live in Haines and will definitely be flying back for some of their upcoming events. A must stop! read more
