We stopped in looking for local beer. The bar tender was busy and with the glare from the window my husband could not read the taps so he leaned in to try and see what beer was served. The next thing I hear was the bar tenderness yelling (full yell) about him being behind the bar. He was leaning in trying to read the taps, he was absolutely not behind the bar. Holy moly, chill out. We left and would not recommend this location with all the other friendlier places. We ended up just down the street and were treated with great respect. There are many great places in Juneau so go where you are treated with respect. FYI we were a party of 4 retired guests just trying to enjoy some local brews and spirits. read more

I started my two week Alaska adventures with a three night stay in Juneau. The day before flying to Anchorage we decided to spend our Friday evening checking out downtown Juneau and grabbing a few drinks. We met up with our AMAZING (words can't even describe) Couchsurfing host (hi Nolan!) at Triangle Club and indulged in a few Moscow Mules. You see, Moscow Mules are pretty much one of my favorite alcoholic drinks, if not my absolute favorite. The fact that Triangle Club was able to make them (and make them well!) AND had the copper mugs was a huge plus that made my day. The bartender was super nice even when I essentially asked permission to use the bathroom while she made our drinks... awkward. The women's room was spacious and pretty clean although I think there was only one stall. After getting our drinks we sat and talked for a while about how awesome Juneau is and how we didn't want to leave, etc. Despite a missing wallet later in the evening, Juneau totally started our trip off on a very high point and the Triangle Club only added to the awesomeness! All in all, I'm a fan of Triangle Club, keep making those Moscow Mules, they're pretty tasty! read more

Toby Keith said it best, "I Love This Bar" The Triangle was a welcome respite from those waterfront establishments catering to the stampede of clamoring cruise ship clientele. Not that there's anything wrong with CCSC, but it can be overwhelming en mass. A couple blocks from the water, the TC is a pleasant mix of tourists and locals and reminiscent of a back home, local, corner bar that hasn't seen a remodel in the past 1/2 century. Nothing fancy. Comfy/dingy. Most welcoming with a fine selection of craft and mainstream brews to boot. There's a good selection of value wines and the bartenders are tops at mixing a variety of popular (and not so popular) libations. Glad to be in the Triangle Club! read more

Awesome local bar. We got here 10:00 am to kill a little time and had a great time. We chatted with the bar tender who was great and had a small snack. The spicy mustard we had on the hot dog was the best! Anyone who regulars a local bar at home should check this place out. read more

I LOVE this bar! There's always music playing but not so loud you can't chat with your buddies. There is Buzztime Trivia if you want to challenge a total stranger to a battle of wits. It's calm and laid back...no crazy drama and no one spilling their drink on you. Best of all is the people watching! Those windows have shown us many a things...not all pleasant but always entertaining!! As a local I highly recommend this establishment. Oh! And if you come in the afternoon there's hotdogs! Walked in and my daughter politely asked to use restroom. Female bartender said yes but then uttered something derogatory to her. When my daughter came out the bartender again said something snarky. Friendly bar staff (Jewels, Steve, Mark) and great people. Reasonable prices, calm atmosphere. You don't have to wait 45 minutes for a drink, unlike the Imperial. This is not a crazy college hook-up party bar, more for a mature crowd. I would definitely recommend. read more

To clear it up we were visiting off a cruise for the day and just wanted to use the time to get online and this was the first place we found that offered it. minimum $5 drink for each person to use the wifi. We didn't want a drink but got one to use the wi-fi, which we take for granted that it's freely offered to customers in most businesses in the area I'm from. We said ok to it, got a drink, didn't debate anything and weren't rude about anything.The person there was just being a bitch. Just wanted to provide an update that either one of the owners or a friend of the owners private messaged me to call me names after I wrote my review below. Oh hey and he provided a counter review, Todd M. And he just got all his friends to do it too! Basically just started saying random stuff and calling me "classy bitch" and other things. Which is ironic because, uh, if you're going to respond to a negative review by hurling insults, you really just proved how low class you are. Guess this place isn't just run by one bitch. Whew! On my Alaskan Bloody Mary tour we stopped in this great locals bar. The early morning bartender was new and said the Bloody Mary was the first one she made at that bar. Well for Newbie she did a great job and was very hospitable. We even bought a husband babysitting t-shirt. I would go back if ever in the area again. read more

We had heard of the infamous "Triangle" for weeks from my father in law who frequents Juneau and loves the Triangle. We stopped in a few times for some drinks and were very pleased with the service and pours. Shoutout to our bartender Stacy who was kind and attentive. It was ok. Reminded me of bars in the midwest that thought they had it going on. Stripper pole in the back with big girls on it. Not hard to get a drink but the bouncer with a mohawk has a bad attitude problem. I saw him yelling at some kids that were just minding their own business at the bar playing a power trip. I was sitting there having a soda and couldnt take his trying to pick a fight with someone. Irritating and unprofessional. Im too old for that sort of thing to be entertaining. read more
