Not friendly to tourists. Would not serve our party of 4 because we weren't locals. Gave us dirty looks and the bartender was rude. So we went to the bar next door called The Narrows they were very friendly.

I started my two week Alaska adventures with a three night stay in Juneau. The day before flying to Anchorage we decided to spend our Friday evening checking out downtown Juneau and grabbing a few drinks. We met up with our AMAZING (words can't even describe) Couchsurfing host (hi Nolan!) at Triangle Club and indulged in a few Moscow Mules. You see, Moscow Mules are pretty much one of my favorite alcoholic drinks, if not my absolute favorite. The fact that Triangle Club was able to make them (and make them well!) AND had the copper mugs was a huge plus that made my day. The bartender was super nice even when I essentially asked permission to use the bathroom while she made our drinks... awkward. The women's room was spacious and pretty clean although I think there was only one stall. After getting our drinks we sat and talked for a while about how awesome Juneau is and how we didn't want to leave, etc. Despite a missing wallet later in the evening, Juneau totally started our trip off on a very high point and the Triangle Club only added to the awesomeness! All in all, I'm a fan of Triangle Club, keep making those Moscow Mules, they're pretty tasty!

This place is smoke-free, visited by locals, totally friendly, affordable and the bartender is fun. Definitely will return

This is the perfect neighborhood bar; stop by, laugh, meet the locals, affordable, comfortable, good front window view and there are some crazy things out there. We looked at a deluxe bus of bachelorettes swinging a bunch of well developed penises out the window. Found out this happens all the time - go figure.

Awesome local bar. We got here 10:00 am to kill a little time and had a great time. We chatted with the bar tender who was great and had a small snack. The spicy mustard we had on the hot dog was the best! Anyone who regulars a local bar at home should check this place out.

Super divey in a good way! Not creepy and not weirdly dirty. Just good drinks, good prices, good bartenders, no frills.

We had an awesome time here with locals and cruise people coming and going. The bartender was a lot of fun.

The early morning bartender was new and said the Bloody Mary was the first one she made at that bar.

The ship was the epitome of modern luxury and the port cities catered to all the tourists needs. But at some point, I needed to get a little down and dirty, to get away from the crowds of visitors. To me, Alaska is still frontier, and I needed to experience just a taste of it. From the recommendation of a grizzled cruise staff, my wife & I found ourselves at the Alaskan Hotel and Bar, enjoying a pint and taking in small piece of history. While a few tourists did wander in, most of the patrons seemed local and knew each other and the staff. We watched from the far end of the bar and soaked in the atmosphere while enjoying our beers. Though there was a single acoustic guitarist playing from the stage, the bar was mostly still and quiet, a welcome respite from the throngs of outsiders on the street, veering in and out of the jewelry stores and tacky souvenir shops. Both of us needed this time to recharge, to enjoy a different side of Alaska than we'd seen, to be around normal people again. Does this bar have all the amenities? Are fancy cocktails the standard fair? Is the furniture new? All those answers are no. But the drinks are strong and the bathrooms are clean. And for a tired tourist, this is the most welcome sight.

I think this bar was a really cool stop in Juneau. Old historical feel and cool storyread more
