I have visited Juneau for business on 4 occasions my first stop is always the Narrows. So far they are the only establishment in town with an impressive gin collection. I came by off the cruise ships, it was towards the end of the season (September) so it was extra cold and cloudy (end of season for the northern lights viewing). The clam chowder was absolutely delicious; it was meaty, and just the perfect thickness I like. There were chunks of fish and clams in every bite. I also got fresh oysters and they were nice and meaty with a touch of brine and had a nice bite. The service was a bit slow since people were being sat in droves, but once the server came around, she was very nice. We had a few questions and she answered them with a smile and gave me some awesome tips. Overall, a satisfying meal with an awesome view; I would recommend.
