I have visited Juneau for business on 4 occasions my first stop is always the Narrows. So far they are the only establishment in town with an impressive gin collection. If you want a craft cocktail or you are not sure what you want the bartenders will gladly make you something special that they love or think you will like. The Narrow's is a must visit when in downtown Juneau.

The double staircase is very steep and treacherous. There is zero noise barrier. I woke up both mornings to the sound of my neighbor snoring. I was also awakened at 11:30 on a Monday night to the sound of the band from the bar below...It was loud enough that I felt I could have sang along. The desk is not monitored 24 hours a day. They bill it as an historic hotel...I've stayed in several historic hotels which have been maintained. This is just shabby and run-down. It's basically a hostel at hotel prices.

I also got fresh oysters and they were nice and meaty with a touch of brine and had a nice bite. The service was a bit slow since people were being sat in droves, but once the server came around, she was very nice. We had a few questions and she answered them with a smile and gave me some awesome tips. Overall, a satisfying meal with an awesome view; I would recommend.

We completed some souvenir shopping and next stop was TRACY's. We noticed the line at Tracy's #1 but we were informed of ALL YOU CAN EAT CRABS @ TRACY'S #2. It was a pretty distance walking but we decided to start and begin hiking. I saw a bicycle tour guide and asked if he could give me a tour on the way to TRACY's while the rest of the crew walked. It looked your own huge backyard. As you walk into the garden area the bathrooms are to the left and to the right is the line which orders are taking at a small cottage house. Then the next stop is the beer hut, then the last hut is where magic is made with CRABS. In between the Order house and the Beer house there is a unique wide open wash hand station with foot pedal.
