Food was fast I order a simple meal was exactly what I needed. I was satisfied had a nice amount of leftovers for a meal later.

Food isn't bad but it's distasteful for the em to force a certain tip amount. Pricey, would not recommend

Dined here on a recent business trip to Juneau and was very pleased with my meal. I had the spicy tuna roll for an appetizer ($13.00) and the chicken Pho for my main course ($15.00). I thought the spicy tuna roll was done very well with what tasted like quality tuna and spicy but not overwhelming. The chicken pho was also very good with grilled chicken, and lots of savory vegetables. I also ordered their version of a "911 roll" ($25.00) that was described as Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber Inside, Tuna, Crabmeat on the outside with special spicy sauce. Well, the 911 roll was good (not great) but for $25.00 I thought it was definitely over priced! The decor was basic and reasonably clean with efficiently friendly service. I will return next time I'm in the area and would definitely get the chicken pho and spicy tuna roll again! read more

It was time for a revist and update. I'm pleased to say that I was not disappointed. Everything seemed to improve, and maybe that is partly due to the reduced menu. The menu was sooo full of choices, but I failed to get pics. sorry!! It was great! The space is not small but quiet except for a bit of K-pop playing in the background. The staff was amazing and helpful with choices. The dishes we chose were very flavorful! I sensed that some things might have been premade but that's ok. We had Katsu in a bento and broccoli chicken. I often try the rice in order to gauge how good things will be. The steamed rice was perfect by the way. On the minus side: Quite honestly the most disappointing Japanese food I've ever eaten. Ordered the pork katsu for dinner. I was served a luke-warm egg drop soup to start with. Two breaded pork cutlets came out moments later, pre-doused in katsu sauce that tasted more like bbq than katsu sauce. They were plated with an ice-cream scoop of rice that starkly contrasted the steaming and totally unseasoned pork by actually feeling slightly chilled (it was strange.) The salad's dressing tasted more like mayonnaise with sugar than it did any semblance of traditional salad dressing. The best part of my meal was the wine that came from a single-serve bottle. If you're looking for fast food, this might be a good place to stop. If you're hoping for anything resembling Japanese cuisine, I can confidently say the pork katsu is not going to do it. $28 plus tip later, I was very disappointed and they were surprised I didn't want to take the rest of the food to go. On the plus side: The menu is very diverse & the service is extremely fast. The staff was very polite & they offer a selection of beer and wine. The location is also convenient. read more

Getting Togo food during COVID can be hit or miss. This was a hit. Teriyaki chicken and beef was fresh and delicious. Garlic beef was also, with a nice kick of spice. Egg drop soup was hot and a great start to the meal. Packaged nicely for travel. Quick. But I have to say, the hand sanitizer, here, is yucky. This is not a reflection of the great meal. I only mention it in hopes that they will read this and nix the perfume style hand sanitizer. It did remind me of my grandma. A lovely woman, whom would load up on perfume like a 14 year old wears to much Axe body spray. Awesome chow. Bring your own sanitizer. read more

Instead, they come out with semi-decent food, like overcooked shrimp tempura, served with sweet and sour sauce instead of tempura dipping sauce. The family dinner deal wasn't very good quality. Look, I get it that times are hard for the last few years, so I understand receiving smaller portions than usual. But what I won't let slide is a decline in services provided and professional courtesies. I usually get great service here, but my last experience was horrible. The young lady that was seating and serving people had a very poor, unfriendly attitude. She was also just putting in the minimum effort to provide customer service. I would be more understanding if it were busy, but there was really less people dining today then when we normally go there, so I couldn't even let that slide. The portions were smaller than last time, but like I said, I understand that the past few years have been really tough. But the meal I ordered is usually a gravy/sauce based meal, but the portion provided was not only smaller, but was not even what I ordered. It was more like a sesame seeded, seasoned beef (like a side of teriyaki beef) with udon noodles instead of what I usually get when I order the same thing. I am giving 2 stars because although the food was not what I ordered, but it tasted good enough, and I didn't have to wait very long for service or to have the food served. What I am taking 3 away is for the very poor seating service, and lack of a cordial customer service. With how slow it was at the time I was there, combined with everything else, I was very disappointed and I hope that things improve from here on. read more

This used to be a place we enjoyed visiting unfortunately the food quality has suffered greatly lately. The overall taste of everything is bland. The General Tso Chicken is just pre-frozen nuggets. Don't expect it to be crispy chicken coated in sauce. It's just soggy nuggets in a thin watery sauce. Other items ordered looked different but tastes the same. Came in off the cruise ship and was craving Asian food. Wanted something to share with my husband so we ordered what we thought was going to be lo mein. We got a plate of super soggy noodles with veggies and over cooked rubbery chicken. We were charged $25.00 FOR SHARING!!! I believe the original price was $17.99. We paid $30 for one plate of food and a Diet Coke. Apparently they charge extra because they cooked for two and had to make more. Makes no sense. The reality of the matter is she knew we came off the ship. I'm positive they charge more for that reason alone. Would have been different had she told us we'd be paying extra then at least the decision to order is ours. Don't take advantage of people it's not nice and karma is big you'll get no where treating your customers this way. Coming from someone who's been in the restaurant industry! read more

So good! The food isn't (all) made from the same Costco containers of sauce (though some is) While I didn't care for the hot and spicy soup (too much Sriracha) I know some who are really into it. The service is so fast you may not be able to finish the appetizer before your soup comes. Then your soup will still be out when your meal shows. They are so nice and just want to make sure you get your food hot. There also seems to be a guy whose only job is to whisk away your dishes when you are done. read more

Disappointing. I've been a regular at this restaurant for the ten years I've lived in the valley and the food and service were consistently good. However, in the past year plus, something changed. Maybe they got a new cook? The recipe for Kung Pan chicken became bland and flavorless. Covid has been devastating to most restaurants but I've noted many of my favorites in Juneau have been innovative in providing curbside service and whole meal combos, etc. The couple who work the cash register may have been fighting before I walked in today, but their attitude ranged from indifferent to downright rude. No smile, no providing a bill just had me run my card on a total I was not given until after I paid. When the order was ready the woman actually yelled at me sitting maybe 6 ft from her. Again no smile and no thank you. Not a word was spoken by either of them other than yelling ma'am. The food ended up as flavorless as it has been for the past year. I'm so excited we found a place in Juneau that serves real phò and udon all in one place. I'm usually skeptical of restaurants that offer Chinese, japanese, and any other type of food under the same roof. However, this place is awesome and a pregnant Woman's dream I can have udon, fresh spring rolls, and sushi all in one place.. Heaven!!!! I've been here 3 times in the past week and highly reccomend it, plus unlike anywhere else in Juneau they are fast! I love it! Update: ordered take out 1 month ago and found a thick long black hair intertwined into my fresh spring roll! Gross! I'm over them! **Update we ordered take out about 1 month ago and I haven't been able to eat there since, so dissapointed. Great service on a super gross day in Juneau. We wore our masks on the way in. They helped us out and charged our phones!!! The sushi rolls we got were the dragon roll, avalanche, soft shell crab roll, some hot sake and chicken yakisoba!!! It took less than 5 min to get all that food to the table! The food here is quite good, but not consistent. But when it come to Asian food in Juneau, this is certainly one of the best. Mon. Thru Friday they have dinner specially dishes, and combo lunch specials daily. The sushi is quite good as well. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I'm new to Juneau and this is my third try at Chinese food. It was good, much better than the two other places I've had Chinese at. We ordered chicken fried rice and sweet/sour chicken for pick up. I didn't go in but my BF came back to the car suggesting to seat in instead because it looked nice. I said next time. We brought the food home and watch Netflix. I give it 3 stars because it's not the best Chinese I've had ( I'm from CA) BUT it is the best in Juneau so far. read more

Um, this place is weird. Went there with a friend and he ordered orange chicken, I ordered general tso's tofu. When it came out, his was a plate filled with chicken, covered in orange sauce, and mine was the same with my dish, no veggies of any kind, it was all very strange.
