This was a fun spot. Good beer. Nice sized gift shop with interesting things. Place was clean and the service was good. We ate at the place inside the brewery and thought it was good.

If you're looking to get away from the crowds in Juneau, this is your spot. We were taken here by a local and enjoyed the water views and large, spacious taproom. They also offer outdoor seating with modern fire pits. There's a window to order food that's separate from the brewery yet located inside. We were helped by the friendly staff and enjoyed our tasting flights.

Flight. The first is a seltzer, my +1 was a Porter. All very good. Loved the Bigfoot theme.

We stopped in after a long day in downtown Juneau to relax away from the cruise crowds. Located across from the ferry port and near Mendenhall glacier (Tongass National Forest), the brewery does a brisk business but it's pleasantly busy and didn't feel crowded. The large outdoor space helps, although the weather wasn't particularly good the day we went for seating outdoors. The beer list is very good both in number of beers and diversity of styles-something for everyone! There were even several seltzers on tap. I got a flight +1 because of my inability to make a decision. The person helping us was made great suggestions and even found a solution for filling my non beer drinking friend's last spot on her flight. Food is available and looked fantastic but we were drinking only for our visit. The ramen looked especially good for the chilly drizzly day.

Tried the cranrazz and watermelon hard cider. Both were crisp and refreshing. Amazing views of Auke Bay.

Happened to stop in when a seasonal event and artist pop up was happening.

I'm not a beer drinker but the food is great here (menu is short) and they have a house rootbeer. Nice vibe.

I liked this brewery, but I didn't love it. Despite some other reviewers complaining about the beers being too heavily loaded with edgy styles (sours and hazies)...I kind of have the opposite complaint. The beers here were really good, I just wish there were some more modern styles available. But maybe this is just a function of the time of year I was here. (early January) The space is big and beautiful and the service is great. The location is about as far from downtown Juneau as you can get. Locals probably like it this way. But if you're not a local, you're going to pay some big bucks in Lyft fees to get here! I recommend coming here before going to the airport. For me, the highlight of this place is the food. A separate business, Red Spruce AK, is situated inside. They a small number of thoughtful items with an insane amount of variety between them, check 'em out: https://www.yelp.com/biz/red-spruce-ak-juneau

While visiting Juneau again we of course stopped by the brewery, better day as it was not raining but rather a nice cool early evening. Drinks , tried some of the local beers again, very good nice & cold , tall glass hard to go wrong. This time around we tried some food they have an in house vendor on property this is nice & convenient. We tried the Burger & Fries, good burger , fries could be better had too much seasoning. also tried the Fried rice, not bad if you like spicy it had quite the kick, best thing for me was the Pretzel oh man super soft, great on it's own good with the cheese dip. One of the best things about this is of course the lovely scenery outside, nice views while sipping on some good beer.

When visiting Juneau, this brewery is a great option. My wife and I were in town from a Norwegian cruise, and our friends that live in town took us here. First time around we ordered the Auke Bay IPA, which was great, not to bitter and nice kick. We enjoyed the outdoor seating, which has heating and amazing views of Auke Bay Creek and the mountain range from far, if you're lucky you might see some wildlife. The second time around we ordered more Auke Bay IPAS. I ordered food there but I think it's a separate entity? I got an order for a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was great but the fries were extremely salty, and I don't mind salty foods. This brewery has a great selection and we enjoy hanging out here when in town. Note, there is a drink limit of 3 beers at this brewery.

Tried the VIP brew; a vanilla imperial Porter - delicious!

The beer is average. The brewery has a good view overlooking Auke bay. They also have non alcoholic beer available.

There is one bathroom on site. Discover is an accepted form of payment. There is a 2.5% surcharge added to credit card sales. There is a $2.50 up-charge added for to-go items. Wine and beer are available for purchase with a 3% liquor tax. Every step of the process is self-serve; from ordering food, picking up food and bussing own table. The entire establishment is in refurbished functional sheds. Seating is outdoor picnic table, covered tent style. There are several photo stand-ins on the property creating fun photo opportunities. During our visit, I slurped on a pint of Alaskan Husky IPA for $8.50. We shared a small (qty 6) Mini Crab Cakes for $10.95. I ordered a pound of Alaskan Red King Crab for $85; served with garlic rolls and butter. This crab was a test in patience to say the least. Lots of cracking needed to be done and it wasn't easy. My daughter ordered a pound of the Dungeness Snow Crab for $35. We all had a great time sampling local Alaskan seafood at Tracy's. Definitely a highlight of our stop in Juneau.

We ended up tasting the Red King Crab, the Gold King Crab, the Snow Crab, the "limited special" shelled seafood cup, the lobster bisque, the crab cakes, the rolls, the fries, and the queso. We also had the iced tea cocktail. I personally prefer Snow Crab and it did not disappoint The Iced tea cocktail was also really good. While it is not my preference the Red King Crab leg was also outstanding. Had these been my only items, I would have given the review 5 stars. The lobster bisque, queso, fries and rolls were good if you are in the mood for those items specifically. The seafood cup, which you would think came from the same crabs, was disappointing. It was dry and required the cocktail sauce and lemon. The photograph made it look like there were big chunks, but it was pretty much shredded. I asked the older lady cashier about it when we first ordered the crab legs and then ordered this in our second round. I feel she could have given a little more infirmation about it. Either way, I would not order that or the crab cakes again. If I am even in Juneau again, I'd definitely save my money up fir a stop here!

Buyer Beware! Junk…read morefees are so 2020. I'm in Juneau, Alaska on a long-term work assignment, and due to the limited restaurant options, I've ended up eating at The Hangar on the Wharf several weeks in a row. Every single time, they tack on a 3-5% "convenience" or "service" fee to the bill -- even when sitting at the bar with average service at best. I've asked ownership multiple times to remove these outdated junk fees and simply price the menu honestly instead of sneaking extra charges onto the check. Many states are now passing laws to prohibit businesses from randomly adding surprise fees to customer bills because consumers are tired of deceptive pricing practices. All this does is hurt employees' tip opportunities and frustrate customers. The food and service simply are not good enough to justify hidden surcharges on top of already high prices. Transparent pricing matters.
