My experience was outstanding from the start with Jeff's visit to our home for an estimate. I could tell after meeting with him that his team would do great work and totally understood my vision. I must have hit the lottery with his team because I got Jamie and Raphael on my crew all 8 days. Jamie is one of the best tradesmen I've ever worked with. His attention to detail, leadership, interpersonal skills and care for my home were unparalleled! He has such a bright future. He was on my job site everyday, even when he was not feeling well. He had great suggestions for things I didn't even think of that I love! He went above and beyond in ensuring our house was exactly how we wanted it before he left! Raphael was also great - he worked very hard, had such a great attitude and made sure I always had what I needed! This team everyday cleaned up after themselves before they left - I'm talking they vacuumed our bedroom and swept everyday. They managed a clean and respectful job site. Everyone that has come by our home has commented on the level of work and detail that went into these projects. Guys- I learned the hard way that you can mess up crown molding, by hiring another company in the area before I hired Jeff and team! They actually took down and put back up some incorrect crown I paid a lot of money for. They really do care. And they offer a lifetime warranty guaranteeing their work. We contacted Crown Moulding to replace baseboards and add crown moulding throughout our home. Jeffery came and gave us our estimates and gave suggestions when we asked for his opinion. This was going to be a large job that required a lot of coordination to stage furniture and keep on schedule. The teams were easy to work with and assisted whenever help was needed to move larger furniture items. We had two crews, one for the crown moulding which was Jamie, Rene and Tony. The second crew was for the base boards which were Cory and Pamela. They all did an exceptional job for this picky client even to the point of coming back to fix a few minor caulking issues. We used The Crown Moulding Company about 4 years ago to install crown moulding in our home. We spent over $3200 to have this done. The work at that time was acceptable. We noticed recently that the mitered joints are shrinking and are showing cracks. We have contacted the company numerous times over the past month and each time we were told that someone would contact us, After several more phone calls, we did have contact with owner Jeff Tuttle, who stated that they would honor their Lifetime Warranty and would contact us to setup an appointment for repairs. After several more phone calls and excuses as to why they have not contacted us, it seems that we are being strung along and they really have no intention of honoring their warranty. So what once was an acceptable experience has now gone down the drain. Another example of.....its all about the money and nothing about customer service and doing the right thing! So buyer beware......you may get great service in the beginning but forget about any future repairs or issues that would need attention in the future! read more

Although the installation was done to my satisfaction, and the price was good, I'm having a real problem getting Jeff to come back and make some repairs. The caulking used to hide a joint has shrunk. This has exposed the joint. This has happened in a few places. I have called him numerous times to have it repaired with only one response. "Nicole will call and schedule". I received no call. I called only to get an answering machine every time. My friend who has used The Crown Moulding Co before warned me but I went with them anyway. So, be warned. read more

I finally was able to reach Trina on the phone after a busy signal for five days which she could not explain. After several more lame excuses she finally gave me Jeff's cell phone number. I was able to reach him immediately. He said he wasn't aware of was going on but said he would throw in the master bedroom for free. He agreed to come the following week, which he did. The work was completed over two days. They did a very nice job and the crown molding looks nice. I gave only 3 stars because of all the aggravation and poor customer service prior to the job being completed. read more

My wife and I purchased a home with crown moulding done by this company a month ago. We remodeled the bathroom and needed 2 spots of the moulding touched up. I called the office at least 10 times over the last 40 days. I spoke with the owner once, left several voicemails and texted him at least 20 times trying so hard to get those 2 spots patched back up. One month and nothing but a bunch of promises for return calls and never heard anything back. Very disappointed, we had to hire someone else. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am not one to leave bad reviews, or even speak badly about much. This experience warrants the review. read more

Hire at your own peril. All of the 'good' reviews about this company are pre-2019. Those more recent, are all terrible. This guy, Jeffrey Tuttle does HORRIBLE sloppy AWFUL work. He doesn't stick around to monitor his team, who also do horrible work. He doesn't deliver on what he agrees to. He also is savvy to the ROC process: if you file a complaint, they will require you to let him come back. If you refuse (due to HORRIBLE damaging work), they will close out your complaint, which makes it appear that no complaints have ever been filed. Word on the inside is that there have been MANY. So the ROC isn't your savior and is staffed by former contractors. He is known in the industry as sloppy and other contractors readily will tell you they have made money cleaning up after him. He doesnt regularly pay his employees, so turnover is high (and they are not experienced NOR Licensed, which is also against ROC rules). in the long run, you will spend more than you contracted him for, to clean up the mess of unprofessional sloppy dreadful half-baked work he leaves behind. Again, HIRE AT YOUR OWN PERIL. this man should not be in business at all. IF Yelp allowed for zero stars, that's what I'd give him. read more

I used the Crown Moulding company for 2 jobs. The first was 5 or so years ago and Jeff was great. The second was a remodel - this experience was horrible!!! The company must be overextended - I have been trying to have them complete this job for months and now will have to pay someone else to come back out. I have left messages and called the company and Jeff personally more times than I can count with no response. Trying to warn folks before they make this mistake. Note: I did not actually get any work done, so this review is strictly related to customer service. Our 2 Golden Retrievers chewed up several baseboards and we wanted to get them fixed before the painters came to paint the interior of the house, which was already scheduled. It was only about 15 feet of baseboards over 3 areas, including some corners. Initially, we thought the painters could fix it, but they said they didn't do that type of work, so we had to scramble to find someone. We thought we got lucky when we got a flyer in the mail from The Crown Moulding Company. The flyer said they specialize in baseboard replacements. We called and set up an appointment. We told them it was a small job when we set up the appointment; however, we needed to get it done quickly, as we couldn't postpone the interior painting, which was to start in about 10 days. Jeff came to look at the project and also indicated it was a small job...about a half a day for 1 person according to Jeff. This was on a Friday. We told Jeff that we needed to get the work done before the painters came the following Friday. He said if one of his workers wasn't available he would stop by and get it done, but he first needed to call his supplier to see if he could get the same baseboard corners that we have in our house. He said he would get back to us by Monday. Monday came and I hadn't heard from Jeff, so I called. His answering service said they would give Jeff the message, and I should get a call back shortly. No call from Jeff. By Tuesday, I called again as there were only 3 days left to get the job done. Again, I got his answering service and they apologized, but said they would give Jeff the message and he would get back to me. By Wednesday, I still had not heard from Jeff and didn't have the desire to keep calling him. I also felt it was too late find someone else, so I went to home depot to get some wood filler. It won't look great due to the edging in the baseboards that I won't be able to duplicate with the sander, but it's the best I can do prior to painters coming. At some point in the future, I will need to replace these baseboards, but I will not be calling The Crown Molding Company. read more

Like the other users. Jeffery did the inside of our home January 2019. We are doing a large remodel and still needed to do three bathrooms and a walk-in closet. We relocating from another state so timing was so important to us. I have been talking to Jeffery weeks in advance and he said he would be at my house to finish up the bathrooms on March 13 2020. Will the day came and Jeffery never showed, he didn't call or anything, we just waited for him all day. I sent a text message later in the day like 6:00pm asking him what's going on. His response was he' sorry but he was in Tucson visiting his son. I told Jeffery all that all he needed to do is call. Anyways were done with him and his very poor business practices. I'm very pleased with Jeff & his crew. Our crown molding job had some rounded areas where flex molding was used & a bit more challenging. They installed perfectly. One of the major perks for me was how they left my house when they were done. Very clean & pictures rehung correctly. The boys forgot touch up paint on 1 wall. WOW!!! What can I say without sounding like an infomercial. Jamie and Raphael were great along with Jeff's brother (wish I could remember his name). The appointment was for 8 AM and Jeff's brother was here before than to look over the job and right behind was Jamie and Raphael. Not many contractors actually show up on time but this company does. Now for the quality of the work. Can we give you more than 5 stars as you definitely deserve this. They moved furniture and replaced the furniture as if nothing had changed. The crown molding is installed so perfect that you cannot see a seam even while studying the ceiling. They painted the molding, touched up the wall paint and cleaned the floors so no dust or debris was left behind. We had 4 rooms done and all this only took them 6 hours. They are pleasant, cheerful, and actual fun to have in your house. We could not be more pleased with what this company did for us in both price and quality and this started with the first visit from Jeff to measure the rooms and help us decide on the style of molding.
