Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, their call to fame is that it tastes like a donut. Personally, I thought it tasted like a waffle. Each week, they change up the menu and offer different speciality flavors. This past week, they had an Apple cinnamon that was very good! I went with the Nutella one. I would not recommend it since it costs the same as their fun speciality ones and it's just melted Nutella on top. The waffles are also not very big but a great size for walking around the farmers market. I think this place is A Great option for kids to grab a quick bite. This is an order at the counter place, but staff is very helpful in explaining how it all works. I got a breakfast burrito and it arrived super fast. That just got me to get a glass of water in addition to my coffee, which was excellent. There were lovely looking pastries in the case but I resisted this time. I think there are 3 rooms, lots of wood on the walls and in the booth construction gives it a cozy feel. The all gender bathrooms are spotless.

This time our family tried the 5th Avenue Minneapolis location right across from Twins Stadium. Quick tip, park in the garage facing the restaurant on the left side. It's an easy elevator ride up and the signage makes it simple. Matt was our server and did an outstanding job. Great service always makes a difference. Beverage options were excellent too, stuff for everyone, mimosas, specialty coffee drinks, and really solid drip coffee. The menu has a great balance of savory and sweet, so naturally we tried both. We had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, a BLT on a croissant, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with fruit, and a croissant-waffle fusion with lemon and sweet cream. Honestly, everything was delicious. What I appreciate most is the atmosphere. These restaurants just feel comfortable, welcoming, and easy to enjoy with family or friends. I'm excited they're coming to Maple Grove, but I'll still keep visiting the St. Paul, St. Louis Park, and Minneapolis locations too because I want to see our cities and local businesses thrive.

The strawberry cheesecake waffle, had a lot of toppings, but the cheesecake sauce did not taste good. It almost tasted like it was made with sour cream. This place felt "run down" and not in a good, cool way. It honestly felt like they need to redo this whole place. I am keeping this at 2 stars for the good service.
