As far as looks, from the outside looking in, it's nothing to brag about. But once inside, you are teleported into a great establishment. We were starving after working our way thru County Market so a quick check on Yelp and we landed here for lunch. I've been seeing deep fried portobello mushrooms on menus here in Springfield and decided to give them a try. We got a combo appetizer of them with onion tanglers, and deep fried green beans, another thing that I haven't seen before. All of them were great, although I would have liked them even more if they weren't fried as long as they were cos the coating was so dark it was almost overcooked. We also shared a chicken salad sandwich on a brioche bun with some cole slaw. They were super generous with the amount of chicken salad on the bun, but it was chopped so fine and had so much mayo in it that it was a really sloppy sandwich to eat. The cole slaw was very good with a nice tang. Our waitress was nice and we subed one of the items on the appetizer trio by way of her getting the ok from the kitchen, which was great. If we were in town again we'd come back to get the appetizer trio again and try something else on the menu. read more

This is a staple restaurant in Chatham. It's nice to have a good restaurant that is local to our village. The food is always good and there is an attached arcade to keep the kids busy while you wait. It has outdoor seating if weather is permitting. The only down side is that the restaurant doesn't seem to be big enough. I almost feel like it could benefit from 10 extra tables because it's so popular to eat at. With that being said, capacity isn't really the restaurant's fault. There's no obvious room for expansion unless you want to knock down some walls into the vape store or whatever is next door to it. Lol read more

Tough Dinner We have eaten here a few times. The last two time have not been good experiences. Tonight we ordered the Ribeye steak sandwich, the Philly Chicken, and the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. The cheeseburger and fries were fine. The Philly was just ok, and the sauce was not very good. Very skimpy on the portion. The worst was the Ribeye. It was so tough, my wife actually couldn't bite through it. Grisly and rubbery. Extremely tough. The two stars are for the waitress. She was excellent. She was attentive in spite of the fact that she needed some help with a busy schedule. Perhaps COVID has impacted this in some way. I'm sure we will give it another chance in the future. read more

We stopped here based on reviews. It did not disappoint. Service was quick. Food was great. I had the cuban sandwich which was very good. Their cheese sauce is one of the best I've had. Kids got chicken fingers and fried pickles. The chicken tenders looked very tasty. Fries had a slight spice to them that tasted good. They have a separate arcade area for the kids. The area was nice and clean. You buy a card and load credits onto it so they can play came. A little expensive but not too bad. They win points that go back on the card and can be redeemed for prizes. Good selection too. If we are in the area again we will be back. read more

We needed a quick place to eat in Chatham after driving three hours from Chicagoland to attend our grandson's 4th birthday party, and this place thoroughly impressed us from the moment I called them. We only had a 30-minute window to eat and couldn't stomach the thought of eating fast food. I called ahead and they had our table (for five) and hot delicious food waiting for us! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and stocked and we witnessed a young Creek Pub employee run ahead of an elderly woman to hold the door open for her! Coming from a city with numerous restaurants at which we've eaten many, The Creek impressed us overwhelmingly! I've always enjoyed going to The Creek . Tonight we met with some friends. Had a great dinner. Love the wings. My husband loves the spaghetti. Thinks it's the best that he's really ever had. That's even in comparison to Saputo's in Springfield. The shocker came when we got our bill and saw that we got charged for having asked for Black label on the "rocks". The keyword is the "rocks". Service was excellent. Prices for the bar are low. Food prices are very fair. Lots of TVs with a wide variety of games on. Very family friendly atmosphere. My companion enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger with frozen narrow fries.
