Chicken horseshoe with tater tots. Perfect!
    Sheri W.

Best horseshoes in town! They offer a choice of fries or tots on it... white cheese so it's not so rich. Only downside is they will nickel and dime you to death on the extras. A couple times there was barely any cheese and when I asked for more to cover the fries they upcharged me. It's been better lately...

    Grilled chicken skewers. Delicious!

We don't eat here very often. The food is rather bland, and I feel I am being attacked by televisions.

She even made a point to walk around and check on each table, making sure everything was perfect--that kind of attention really stood out. I ordered the Thai pork bowl, and it was absolutely packed with flavor--perfectly balanced with a little heat, a touch of sweetness, juicy pork, and a satisfying crunch from the coleslaw. The sauces tied everything together beautifully. My wife got the chicken ranch sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. I took a bite myself and was seriously impressed. The chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful, the bread was outstanding, and the candied bacon took it over the top--truly next-level. This sandwich was done right. To finish things off, we tried the oatmeal cream pie cookie, and it did not disappoint. It was soft, perfectly baked, and full of rich flavor. I even had to grab a side of that candied bacon to go--it was that good. We'll definitely be back.

Get the bread - you won't need it (the bowl is huge), but they make it and grill it and it is delicious. Get a cookie to have later (I ate mine over the course of 3 days). I recommend the chocolate peanut butter. The service is friendly and efficient. Ambience is okay. It's busy and the seating is a bit uncomfortable and tight, but they did maximize the utility of the space.

SO glad I walked for a mile in the blistering heat to come here…read more I am staying at the super 8, and it was on the hotel recommendation list. I wanted to watch the Michigan wolverines game so I called down there and spoke to a really nice woman, who ended up being my bartender when I got there. I was originally going to go to four stars, but they are getting five because the bartender told me that they would change the channel for me at whatever TV I was sitting at so I could watch my game! I sat at the bar naturally after being greeted by the really nice hostess. Now generally I despise this state outside of rural areas because the people here are just menacingly rude and judgmental. That being said, walking to the bar, all of the afternoon patrons in there were casting looks at me that could tame a rabid polar bear. Already dealing with that in other parts throughout the state, I just sat there and smiled as they stared and judged. Anyhow, my first bartender, I never caught her name, but she was excellent! Took really good care of me. Shift change in the middle of my visit, and my second bartender was jennifer, she was equally as delightful! I ordered fried okra for an appetizer when I got there, drank some beers, had a couple VERY well proportioned glasses of whiskey and watched my game. Come suppertime, I turned around to see the crowd and the entire restaurant was completely packed! And the personalities of the people that I interacted with at this point were a complete 180. SUPER nice people. For supper I ordered the ribeye, rare. I first cut into it and it looked medium, but sometimes steak just Cooks quicker in certain areas, but outside of the end piece that was cooked perfectly. I had a loaded baked potato which was seasoned great, and green beans and I had blackberry cobbler for dessert, per the recommendation of my bartender. Right through the doors, they have gaming, and a few slot machines also, if that's your thing. I really enjoyed the decorum, and the place was really clean, even the bathrooms. It's not very often that I would return to a restaurant in the state, but this is definitely worth revisiting if I'm ever back in the area! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. I was looking for something with beans and originally ordered the breakfast huarache, mistakenly assuming it was a burrito. I prefer flour tortillas over corn, which started a whole conversation about how the dish is prepared. First, our waiter went to the kitchen to check on modifications, then a second waiter kindly came over to explain the traditional preparation, and finally, the chef himself came out to help! He explained that a huarache is open-faced, not a burrito, but immediately offered a perfect solution: he could custom-make their breakfast burrito using pinto beans as the protein for me instead. When the chef brought it out, it was HUGE. He took the time to explain exactly how he made it and told me to just ask for him or request the modification next time. Not only was the service incredibly attentive, but the burrito was easily the best I've ever had. It's 9 hours later and I am still full from eating just half of it! The food is amazing, the restaurant is clean, and it's clear this team truly cares about their customers. We will definitely be back!
