When the food finally arrived, our daughter's salad had chicken instead of shrimp, and my wife's salad was missing avocado. Correcting the mistakes took another 10 minutes, so our daughter had to sit and watch us eat while waiting for the meal she actually ordered. Our server never checked back and never offered refills. What really sealed the experience was the floor manager on duty. We politely asked for a partial adjustment to our daughter's salad because of the incorrect order and additional delay. The response was a flat refusal, with the explanation that "the service was completed as requested." That statement was almost more frustrating than the mistakes themselves, because the service plainly was not completed as requested. We weren't looking for a free meal. We were asking for a reasonable acknowledgment of poor service and an order error. Instead, management chose to argue that everything had been properly completed. Mistakes happen. Indifference and a refusal to take responsibility are a choice. We won't be in a hurry to return.
