Menu has several options from burgers/horseshoe, salads, BBQ, chicken, etc. The Irish nachos are absolutely worth trying as an appetizer or your main course. Staff is awesome and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. Like sitting in a small Irish pub. Maybe. I've never been to Ireland... Cool place but the beer list is boring and they only had one craft beer when we visited. Make sure you get one of the more mature female waitresses as the young guys have no idea how to be a server. The pizza was pretty good. It was a little burnt on top in some places, but they prepared it fast when another pizza place had an hour and a half wait for pickup. A few years ago I would be leaving this place 5 stars! It's been a couple years since I been here but I came back last weekend maybe I showed up on a bad day but wow everything really had changed. NONE of the staff looked happy with each other everyone looked angry the energy was VERY unpleasant. No one was smiling. I also got attitude from a waitress even though I apologized because she was behind me and I didn't know I was blocking her as I didn't hear her. Also, My pizza was drowning in sauce didn't taste like it usually did. Like I said it could have showed up on a bad day but if I were an owner I would had wanted to know my staff was behaving this way. Not cool. We came back today with 13 people. Our waitress was on point and extremely courteous and attentive. This was our post wedding family dinner and we were a group of 3 year olds to older adults. Nice atmosphere, wine and beer was good. We got Italian beef sandwich and chicken horseshoe. Food was ok, nothing spectacular, cheese was cold on a horseshoe and Italian sandwich was just average. We got a check and there was an up change for waffle fries, that was not told about, then we paid with a card and we were charged with credit card fee that we weren't aware of. Maybe locals are aware of these extra charges but it would have been nice for the waitress to share these fees with us. read more

Overpriced. 11$ for a horseshoe that was two pieces of white bread not Texas toast, tenderloin was a formed pork patty that came straight from a freezer not a breaded tenderloin, and the cheese sauce while tasty was almost non existent. The dining room was cold and to top it off they charge an extra 4% if you use debit or credit and don't tell you about it. Chicken ceaser salad was good but still a little pricey for what you get. Service was fast but when the kitchen isn't actually cooking anything that should be expected. Not a lot of good options for food in Jacksonville and that's why I'll probably be back. If I could give zero stars I would. The worst service ever. Had to order our drinks three times from two servers and our food twice. The food was mediocre but we ate it because we were starved after our nearly 2 hour wait. I asked to speak to a manager who was very apologetic and offered our food for free. I was satisfied. Another manager then came out and told us that he has only worked there for 1 year but she has worked there for 5. She would not be discounting anything. Finally she saw it my way but was very rude! The server (younger guy) is who picked up the pieces was awesome and deserved every bit of our 100% tip. read more

This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Jacksonville. Service is always fantastic even if there's a crowd. Me and my mom go AT LEAST once and week and at this point the waitresses pretty much know our order. There are lots of options: assorted fried bar foods, amazing salads, great pizzas(brat pizza is a must), of course the horseshoe(amazing cheese sauce), and pretty good sandwiches/burgers. The atmosphere is pretty great even when busy. Pub style with friendly staff. It is highly recommended for anyone. YUM read more

After having 2 miserable experiences in Jacksonville at Buffalo Wild Wings, our baseball team decided to roll the dice with a local pub instead... All I can say was the place deserved 10 stars! Service was quick, friendly and spot on. The food was really good - our table ordered a variety of pub food and everything looked awesome. The setting was clean and a nice Irish pub feel. Prices were fair. It is definitely a place we will return to should baseball bring us back again. Only downside is that they don't sell any tee shirts with Mulligan's in Jacksonville, IL on them.
