I tried this place with a friend. We had reviewed the menu online so we would have an idea of what to eat when we got there. The in house menu does not match the online menu, but we both enjoyed our sushi rolls. So you walk in and upon approaching you can't miss the beer garden. If it wasn't so windy that day it would have been a perfect dine outside situation. But because of the wind we got a booth inside. In the middle of the floor is bar height tables a chairs, booths along one side of the room. The booths are only on one side because the other side is a beer wall. That's right, I said a beer wall. A wall full of taps. You get a swipe card and it charges your swipe card by the ounce. I don't drink beer but my friend appeared to be really happy with the selection. Because she couldn't pick just one, she made herself a flight. That's right, you can make your own beer flight from the beer wall. So for you beer drinkers I imagine this west side establishment is a hidden gem. I'd definitely come here again, with spouses and adult children in tow. There was fun food, good drinks and some entertainment. And not just karaoke either. We played name that tune. There was a prize at the end but we didn't stay long enough to see the winner. Well, we also didn't play competitively enough to be the winner either. But we had a great time and for a fair price. So, let it be said...I give this place 2thumbs up and definitely give it my seal of approval. read more

Came here on a Friday afternoon and basically had the place to ourselves. It was 90° out though, so maybe the heat was keeping people in. The food and drinks were good, not mouthwatering, but definitely enjoyable. Not to mention this place has a wall of taps that are self-pour! We had a couple of beers, cocktails, and sushi and were pleased with all! The staff was meh. A lot of waiting on our part, but we're overall kind when they did check in on us. I wouldn't write home about this place, but if you're looking for a cool place nearby with good beer and good sushi, then it's your place! Outdoor patio is dog friendly which is a plus. read more

Meh, I have been to worse and better, will I return? The short answer - probably not. If you are going with a group of people who want to drink a bunch of craft beers/wine and watch sports it is a fine place, especially the outside patio area. If you are going with your partner for a cocktail and light dinner there are far better and cheaper places in the area to frequent. The mixed drinks were relatively inexpensive but the wristband that allows you to pour your own beer/cider was overly priced in my opinion. The menu likens itself to a high-end tapas style menu but falls short. We wanted to split the meat/cheese/olive platter but when we asked the waitress what exactly was on it as the menu was vague, she did not know the answer. Our waitress was really nice and went to ask the chef; we thought it sounded good after the chef broke it down for her and us. Unfortunately, it was not very good (could have picked up a cheaper full spread deli platter from the supermarket) but lesson learned. I love the concept of helping yourself and not having to wait on a bartender or wait-staff to give you your drinks. Upon entering this place you are given a computerized wristband that you wave across the drink of your choice and fill your glass as much or as little you want. Refill as many times as you want or taste as many different kinds of beers or wine you wish. It's up to you. You also have the option of having a drink made for you if you want liquor or cocktails...this would be delivered to your table. They also have a menu which I ordered seasoned edamame, which was pretty tasteless. Also ordered fried avocado which my husband liked but that's not saying much since he likes anything fried. The decor was nice. The tables was lit up, the ceiling twinkling. Cute but honestly I wish I could've seen our appetizers better. We needed better light. The atmosphere at 6pm wasn't impressive. It was kinda empty which was shocking but I'm hoping this was because ppl were still getting off work. My all time FAVORITE sushi place. They have amazing sushi for amazing prices. During lunch you can get two rolls for $8.99 and three for $11.99, and they are great quality rolls. I also love the crab Rangoon, it's salty but sweet enough you don't get tired of it. I will continue coming here, everyone should give it a try! read more

My husband and I decided too check it out after a work event. I'm really glad we did. I love the entire vibe. Really laid back. The guy at the front was so nice. And Showed us how everything works. I love how you can taste different beer and wine. Or purchase a shot. And best of all... the bathroom was immaculate. That's one of my pet peeves. Great food, except there were four of us and our food was not served together which gets a poor service review from me. When I go to a restaurant with 4people I expect that we will eat together instead of 10 minutes after our friends. The restaurant servers didn't think it was an issue nor did they offer any discount, even telling us they didn't care if we came back. read more

This is a place you'd find in Chicago, Phoenix a bigger city. Food menu is awesome and they have all kinds of alcohol. Outdoor setting is very nice now and they are improving it. Inside it very modern and clean lines. I can't wait to get my wife here and really enjoy the ambiance. read more

There is not a lot of space, so our large group took up the whole center table, which has alternating lights and interesting curves. The self-pour craft selections are fun and novel, and the decor is more pleasing in person than in photos. read more

This place is awesome, we have self pour taprooms in Chicago and I never thought I'd come back home and see one here too! Great beer list, 20+ taps are craft beer. Fruit beers, IPA's, stouts, barrel aged beers, sangria, wine, mead, etc. Also to note, it's really nice inside, looks like something out of Chicago (no lame drop ceiling and bright lites like half the places here). I was excited to visit this establishment with two friends. I first had to check in at the counter with my driver's license and a credit card. My name and, perhaps, other data from these items is then loaded onto an electronic bracelet one must to use to order. It is merely an automat for beer and wine. This reduces operating costs by eliminating one or two wait staff positions. The bartender position is eliminated by providing only a sparsely stocked service bar from which it appeared one could get very limited liquors neat, on the rocks or mixed with canned soda. The service was mediocre at best. The waitress took one of our orders, then took that person's electronic bracelet disappeared to place the food order. She returned to the table with the bracelet and took the second order, repeating the arduous ordering process. The noise was terrible, and even though only about one-third of the seats were occupied, it was difficult to have a conversation. The food arrived piece-meal over time. The beef kabobs left a burnt taste I could not get out of my mouth until the next day, the bacon wrapped miniature scallops advertised as scallops were burnt and I could not taste the scallops, the coconut shrimp were so over-fried that I could not taste the shrimp and could only barely taste the coconut, the pretzel bites were bland and tasteless and served with some vile spicy olive paste and the french fries were soggy. The wings they buy were nicely done, and the gyoza were cooked just enough to be quite good. Getting a second can of soda proved difficult. The owners apparently believe they are on the cutting edge of the food and hospitality business. This is not Chicago, and the lack of service and quality food will likely appeal only to the younger crowd.
