10/19/25 8:00pm Store is unsanitary - tables dirty, smells disgusting, and behind the counter is a mess. Employee can't get half of my order right and service took 15 minutes in the drive thru. Had asked (and was charged for) a traditional chocolate ice cream and was handed soft serve. Also ordered (and again was charged for) a chocolate chip cookie sandwich and was given an ice cream sandwich. My family's order that I paid $20 for was really worth probably $15 - an absolute rip off to begin with and then I don't even get what l ordered and PAID for. read more

I went in to get ice cream for graduation since their marquee said free ice cream for grads. Went to the register and found out it was with purchase. Wish the marquee was more accurate since I'm now disappointed. Employees were doing a great job in the rush though! read more

This location is exceedingly awful. We live in town, but find ourselves going to the Frankfort location or Walt's in Joliet. The blasters are never mixed. They're just half melted vanilla ice cream with some toppings thrown on top. 1/5 orders are fully correct, the others are a shot in the dark. Frankly, this place needs some adult supervision. The young teenagers who work here are careless and unmotivated. They also tend to be rude and don't want to fix things which are incorrect. We probably will stop going here all together until Creamery management can get it under control. read more

I have only been through the drive through a handful of times and the stench of a dirty deep fryer pours out of the drive thru window. I can't imagine what the kids working inside smell like when they leave work. When we order ice cream, the paper cups that it is served in smell of the dirty deep fryer. 1. If you like Ice Cream you'll love this place. I usually get a Twist Cone or Shake. The food is hit or miss. The Hot Dog isn't Beef but it's decent and not some tiny thing. I recently tried a Double Cheeseburger and really liked it. Wasn't the skinny dry Beef Patties many Ice Cream places have. The only item I didn't like was the Sloppy Joe. It desperately needs some Sweet BBQ Sauce added to the current Sauce used. It has a flavor that I can only describe as Weird. read more

I'll start with this is the fourth time out of four we've had our simple orders messed up. We only went back trying to support a local business. I think we're done now. Ordered 2 hot dogs (which are boiled and gross it turns out), a grilled chicken sandwich on a Kaiser bun (which came in a regular generic hamburger bun), a sundae, and a peanut parfait with chocolate ice cream not vanilla (I said this like 4 times). Of course at arrival the parfait comes with vanilla. I send it back and he remakes it - filling it to a whopping 3/4 full. Thanks dude - not my problem that you can't take a simple order. But that's ok short me because of your error. There seems to be a lack of any quality staff here especially on nights. I've even tried to avoid listening to all the bad talk on neighbor groups like Manhappinins but hey - guess they were right. Please get your act together over there. This place doesn't even deserve a "meh" rating. I ordered a large Oreo shake which costed $3.99 and then extra for the Oreos. The whole thing ended up costing me about $4.75. It's kind of expensive for a shake but I wouldn't have minded so much if it were actually any good. The shake was made with soft serve ice cream. They got the ice part right but somehow forgot the cream. The shake was extremely gritty and was probably 75% ice crystals. It tasted like it too - the only flavor was the Oreos and maybe a very slight hint of vanilla from the so-called ice cream. The menu is mounted up above the front desk and is easy to read once you tilt your head up far enough for the cashiers to inspect the inside of your nose. It's actually up really high and it's annoying. I really don't plan on returning and that's too bad - I wanted to like them. I guess they are still in business because they're the only ice cream shop in Manhattan and one of only 2 fast food restaurants. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Not only did they forget about our order and made 8 other orders plus tend to the drive thru before even bothering to ask what we were waiting for. The area behind the counter is gross; dirty counters, using the shake mixer over and over without cleaning it and throwing milk/ice cream everywhere, not rinsing the cup guards, the gallon of milk was left sitting out the entire time with no lid, floors are dirty and wet. Love how as a customer you get told you didn't order what you ordered so in retaliation from some degenerate punk he gives you half of a parfait serving it with basically nuts and hot fudge because you inconvenienced him. Sooo hot dogs should be grilled, these r definetly boiled. Wish they had all beef frank choice. The fries are really good and hot . Ugh i opened my choc shake and found a short brown hair on top... gross -not my hair. Shit happens sometimes but ew. Also, shakes are just soft serve icecream.
